The soup was amazing! The BROTH!? She did that. I got the creamy vegan ramen, the noodles were plentiful and I loved the spinach noodle add ins. The service was so fast quick and attentive. The music was a great mix of souldies when I visited. Would definitely come back :)

Great for late nights eatery after a concert or event in the area because they close late. 2/3 AM. They are small with less than 10 tables so there might be a wait.Ramen is decent but for $17, such a small portion with half of an egg.We also opted for something different and went with the curry beef bowl. Not only was it underwhelming, It was $17 for a few slices of old "Yoshinoya" style thin meat and a whole lot of salad. The meal may look big in pictures due to the flat plate and the misleading Ramen bowl that starts really small and at the top that illusioned to be big, But the size are pretty small. If you have a big appetite, these main entrees are probably just snack, appetizer lol.Service was good. Buy no one came back to refill our water.

Came back for a super late dinner with someone. Talking like 1am. I didn't know they were open until 3am. Hollywood definitely doesn't sleep I guess but this is like suburb Hollywood to me. By the grocery store. Anyway. Friendly service and I just tried the sushi. Not super impressive. Thanks for staying open late though, extra star for that plus we got seated right after we clocked in our reservation basically, within ten minutes. Parking kinda sucks but every time I'm here magically someone else is leaving so it worked out. Four stars for the sushi (a fan fave roll I think) and an extra for late hours. Guessing their namesake ramen is the best item on the menu.

Was visiting family in Hollywood hills. We wanted ramen so went in Yelp and found this place. Knew the area so gave it try.Another thing that factored into deciding was seeing on Yelp the wait time and it was less than 5 which of course meant sat right away which we did. Around 6pmish.If you look at pictures of the menu you see how time wise , how long of a window they have for happy hour so that was a plus with trying out different appetizers. You can probably order one of each including both gyozas and it come to around $45 which is what we paid for just ordering regularly. So something to keep in mind if you just want to do happy hour items.Inside was nice and quaint, we got lucky with parking on the street behind the plaza but I'm sure when it's even busier , it'll be a pain to find parking.Service was good as expected so no complaints there, food came out pretty quickly so always a plus when you are very hungry. But most importantly it was all good. Mom just order appetizers as well as me and my gf which all was good. We got the pork garlic bowl and shared it which was very good and because simply of that, as well as happy hour we will keep this place in mind and trying a different bowl and maybe one of their sushi rolls if we're up for it.Only thing was we don't expect the moods to be small thing ones but of course they have options for different type of noodles you want in the ramen. So will keep that in mind when ordering next time.Simple put , the food hit the spot and we lucked out with going as to the time we went and would come back again and recommend if having trouble decided between so many ramen places available out in LA/Hollywood. Check it out at least once .

Hidden Gem Alert! What a great deal, especially their super generous happy hours and portions! Being surrounded in LA by restaurants that will suck your wallet dry, it's nice to know there are still places like this that are fair to the consumer. Great service, chill atmosphere, and really good food. We all got the pork tonkotsu garlic lover ramen and LOVED it. The fact you can customize your spice level on all ramen bowls and the friendly portions of add-ons makes this a must-go. The bento box was ginormous and I really liked they had shishito peppers as part of the tempura set. Can't wait to come back! There is a small parking lot in front or free street parking nearby.

We were up in L.A. for CicLAvia on Melrose. We decided to park and take a long walk instead of riding bikes so we could hit up the shops along Melrose. Near the halfway point, we were looking for a beer and some lunch. Ramen Melrose hit the spot. They had cheap beer, places to sit and a really gorgeous bathroom. We ordered off the happy hour menu and started with an Asahi and some gyoza. Really spicy! My traditional pork ramen was just perfect. A silky flavorful broth and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Flavorful pork and tasty veggies. Loved this spot and the service was excellent.

My friend and I ended up here by accident after we missed the turn for Tatsu Ramen. The parking lot is small, but we were able to find a spot out front. I joined the line via their Yelp Waitlist and within 3 minutes someone came outside and let me know know the table was ready. It's fairly small in here, but it can accommodate a decent sized group of people. We sat by the kitchen and the staff were super nice. I ordered the classic pork ramen, a salad for the table and some tempura as an appetizer. It was actually my friend's first time eating real ramen so he got the classic pork ramen as well. The tempura was not that great. I was hoping for the sweet potato tempura to be part of the veggie mix but it wasn't and the shrimp tempura wax ok. The salad came out after the main entree which was not great, but I noticed my friend ate the entire thing so it was good. To me, the ramen was ok. I thought it was a bit watered down as far as broth flavor and the noodles were kind of standard for me. My friend who tried ramen for the first time and was a novice at chopsticks ate his bowl down! I was happily shocked that his first ramen meal was a hit. A week later, we were both in L.A. again and he wanted ramen and I said lets try Tatsu Ramen this time. I noticed on their menu it states they use shellfish or there's shellfish products in their broth and thought nothing of it. Afterwards I asked him what he thought of the ramen at Tatsu versus Melrose and he said he like Melrose way better because they don't use shellfish and he could taste the difference and after he made that statement I too agreed. Ramen Melrose is definitely the better ramen spot.

Absolutely awful. The ramen was undercooked, and the broth tasted like dirty water. The sushi was gray--yes, gray. But the California roll? That's where I lost it. I have never gagged at a table before. I've had better sushi from a grocery store.Service was just okay, but we weren't given napkins or plates and had to ask. We left full plates of food and just asked for the bill. That should tell you everything. Please, trust me--skip this place. This keeps the review direct, strong, and readable while making your points crystal clear. Let me know if you want to tweak anything!
