RAKKAN Ramen - DTLA

Can't say enough good things about this place. My boyfriend and I frequent this place A LOT. i've tried almost every type of Ramen, you really cannot go wrong with any choice. Our favorite apps are the spicy cucumbers and fried gyoza. Service is always great and fast! 10/10 would recommend.

Came here on a weekday night and was seated right away. Service was quick. Food is good. Amber is a bit salty though, but not too bad, ramen has a good amount of toppings. Gyoza tasted handmade. Nice and clean place

I went to RAKKEN Ramen recently with some pals. We dined in. We shared a plate of Crispy Pork Gyoz. I had the RAKKAN "UMMAMI" RAMEN PEARL* bowl. The food was delicious. Service was great. The place had a good atmosphere.

There is always buzz in the LA Ramen world for Rakkan. With locations throughout SoCal, and in six other states, they are a rather large chain, specializing in authentic Japanese Ramen. My first time here, I ordered the Spicy Garnet Miso Ramen. The broth was flavorful and had a nice kick, but I did not care for the fried garlic sliver garnish. Next time, I will ask them to hold them. I also had the Cucumber Salad, which had too much miso dressing for my taste. I will ask for the dressing on the side next time. The Salmon Sushi cuts were fine. The service was friendly and overall, my meal was good. I will be back!

I came here with my mom after work with our dog and had a wonderful time. We sat outside because we brought our dog, and the server was so kind and gave our dog her own water bowl to drink! We each got our own ramen and it was delicious! The broth was delicious and incredibly tasty. The food came at a reasonable time and the noodles were extremely fresh and the right texture! I got the newest ramen that they came out with which was chicken as there meat along with shrimp. My mom got the Spicy GARNET (miso). Overall great place and the staff were amazing and very nice. We plan to stop by and eat again if we are in the area!

Everything here was so yummy! I came with friends and we shared an order of takoyaki, hot brussels sprouts salad, aburi salmon sushi, and the spicy garnet ramen. My friend said that this was her favorite place to get takoyaki and I can see why- it was so good! I was hesitant to order the sushi since it was a ramen spot but I think the aburi salmon was one of my favorite dishes. I also got a hot winter cocktail that was refreshing and even better, it was only $10! Service was nice and we didn't wait too long to be sat inside.

I thoroughly enjoyed my ramen. The broth had a really good flavor. Even though we were a bit reluctant because it was vegan , it was not lacking in flavor at all. All the ingredients tasted really fresh. And the spice level on their Garnet spicy ramen was just perfect. It wasn't overwhelming and was very enjoyable.The ambiance was quaint and well designed. And customer service was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place went in Japantown.

We came to RAKKAN around midnight on a busy Friday night, and although the place is small, the service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is clean and simple, just right for a quick late-night bite.We tried the Spicy Garnet Ramen (vegetable broth, sesame paste, spicy miso, grilled pork, black pepper, green onion, bamboo shoots, seasoned egg, fried garlic, regular noodles) and the Spicy Quartz Ramen (similar but with gluten-free rice noodles). Both ramens were delicious and well-balanced--not too salty or heavy, making them perfect for late-night food after a night out. The gluten-free noodles were good, but the texture was a bit too soft for my liking, though it's great that they offer the option. We also had the spicy cucumber salad that offered a nice crunch and tanginess. Overall, it was a solid late-night ramen experience with fast service and tasty food.

Love that RAKKAN Ramen - DTLA (Little Tokyo) is open late (until midnight or 1am every day)!!We have come here a few times after shows/concerts and never had to wait too long to be seated after putting our name down. The ramen options are all delicious! Small, simple and cozy restaurant with great service. Absolutely recommend it!
