Every time I go to Raffi's Place, I'm never disappointed. The wait for a table is sometimes insane, but there's more than enough to do around the area to pass the time. It's an interesting space! It seems like a covered courtyard, with one large dining room in the courtyard and another dining room inside. It doesn't give an outside vibe though because of how well-covered it is.The food is amazing and the portion sizes justify the prices. I split the lamb kebab with a friend, and we still had food left over. We also shared the tahdig with ghormehsabzi and gheimeh. Sabzi is an herb blend stew and gheimeh is a stew consisting of beef, eggplant, and split peas. Our favorite one was the gheimeh out of the two. We also ordered the ikra eggplant dip, which is super addicting. All the food comes with a side of lavash bread and a plate of fresh mint, dill, onions, and radishes.Their pomegranate martini and mojito are also very good! The service is always amazing and the food never disappoints. I would definitely recommend this place for a dinner with a couple of friends!

The first few things you notice or at least that I noticed walking up to Raffi's. One, the place was packed. The line was huge which is a good sign because regardless of the wait time people are willing to stay. So that for me as a true food lover is encouraging. We were seated faster than we expected. We started with hummus as our appetizer and it tasted great. I added some fresh mint leaves in my lavash and the herbiness really complemented it. Our server warned us ahead of time that there would be a wait for the kabobs because of how busy the kitchen was. Those of you who know me understand that I have worked in the restaurant industry on and off for the last thirty odd years so I understand this and appreciate the heads up. As we waited for our food I noticed the all staff understood and moved with a sense of urgency. The movements were quick and the service attentive. This is something that is nice to see. For our entrees my wife went with the Barg Kabob (Thin sliced filet Mignon, skewered and charbroiled to perfection) I went with Soltani Kabob(Filet Mignon and ground beef, skewered and charbroiled to perfection.) Both meats were tender and very flavorful. The mountain of rice was perfectly cooked and very addictive. Thank you Raffi's for a great evening.

Raffi's Place is a Feast You Won't Forget! If you're looking for the ultimate spot to gather your crew for a flavor-packed feast, Raffi's Place is the move. I've been here a handful of times, and let me tell you--it never ever disappoints. This place is built for big groups, big appetites, and big love for Mediterranean food. The menu? A greatest-hits lineup of classic Mediterranean staples. Their entrée plates are massive, perfect for sharing (or for taking home leftovers--because trust me, you will have some). If you're all about the dips, go wild and get them all--hummus, baba ghanoush, that dreamy eggplant dip--I'm telling you, every bite is a win. And pro tip: ask for extra bread immediately because one basket is never enough. I could honestly eat my entire meal with just the bread and butter.Service here is next-level--white glove treatment all the way. The staff works as a team, so you'll never have to flag someone down for a refill or extra napkins. They know their Mediterranean flavors inside and out, and they keep things running smooth.I especially love this place at night--the patio is warmed up with heaters (ladies, you're covered), and the lively, buzzy atmosphere makes it feel like a true dining experience. Heads-up: it's not the spot for a quiet, romantic date, but if you're rolling deep with friends or family, it's perfect.Parking is easy--valet for $10 or plenty of nearby structures for just $5. Feeling like a moonlit stroll? Park a little further and take in the neighborhood vibes on your way in.Bottom line: Raffi's is a treasure. Every bite is unforgettable, every visit is a feast, and every time I leave, I'm already planning my next trip back.

I have been a huge fan of Raffi's Place for years! I have spent birthdays, Valentine's Day, or just a casual meal when we're craving their food here! The food is just delicious and the restaurant is inviting except for the insane wait, even on the week days. No reservations accepted. I've been here a handful of times but the time that left the most memorable time was during my birthday and our WAITER was JOSE. He was always smiling and patient with my table party of 6. Seems like we all have different taste buds and he took his time to explained everything to us. He was very attentive and definitely made our night very memorable. I've only had him once. I'm hoping we can bump into him again and have him as our waiter but haven't.This is by far one of my favorite Middle Eastern/Persian restaurant and I drive nearly 45 mins to come enjoy their food and ambiance.I think their food is the most authentic Persian food you can find in LA. Our favorite is most definitely upgrading your meal with the sour cherry rice ( Albaloo Polo)! So flavorful and with a little sweet and tart flavor and definitely compliments the beef soltani, barg kabobs, koobideh, lamb Chops, and salmon kabob. Complimentary Lavash bread, butter, and onions. Make sure to sprinkle some small seasoning on there, so good! For appetizer, I love the eggplant dish, ( the hot one not the eggplant dish) Kashk O'Bademjan- Caramelized onion and kashk (whey) served on a bed of fried eggplant. Delicious!Valet parking is $10 or a short walk next building is a public parking structure building for free 90 mins parking.

This was the best Persian cuisine I've ever had. Visited Glendale on a work trip just to try Raffi's since I heard so much about it. Came to Raffi's on a Sunday evening around 6pm and the place was packed. The host told me the wait was 60-75 minutes long. They take no reservations but they do use yelp to manage the queue. You put your name on their list and then you can click on the yelp link to view your place in line. I decided to browse the Glendale Galleria while I was waiting for my table. There is a public parking garage that offers 90 minutes of free parking but Raffi's also offers valet parking. There is also street parking as well. We sat in their outdoor terrace that was covered. Immediately we were greeted by our server and he came with a complimentary basket of the Persian flat bread and butter along with a plate of radish, onions, and parsley. We ordered the hummus and it was so creamy and delicious. Highly recommend it and it went well with the bread. We also ordered the Tadig crispy rice appetizer plain. Our server was so kind to let us sample the ghormesabzi and gheimeh to try with the tadig. I would say the Gheimeh was my favorite to eat with the crispy rice. I enjoyed the tomato based flavors vs the ghormesabzi veggie stew which was too bland for me. For our entrees we got the Beef Koobideh plate and the Chicken Koobideh. Both the plates came with a huge amount of rice which was surprisingly very buttery and fluffy, a perfect compliment to the grilled ground meat. It also came with grilled tomato and green pepper. Over all the beef and the chicken was packed with flavor. The only thing I wished Raffi's had was like their homemade sauce. We were reaching for some type of yogurt or hot sauce to go with the entrees that we got accustomed to getting when dining at Mediterranean restaurants. Our server told us all they had was Tabasco or Cholula hot sauce. For dessert with ordered the Spumoni cake. It was delicious but the ice cream was so frozen it was difficult to eat. Once it thawed a bit it was very delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Raffi's for authentic Persian food. The place is busy and it is honestly worth the hype and wait. I would definitely come back here and try their other dishes. The portions are so large we left with huge boxes of food.

I remember coming here as a kid decades ago and wanted to let my gf try some of the best kabobs in LA. We came around 5pm on a weekend and waited for about 30 minutes before being seated. The entire restaurant was packed and we quickly ordered a hummus, shish kabob, and soltani kabob. The orders arrived after 30 minutes of ordering, which the server did tell us beforehand.I am not a fan of hummus but this hummus was delicious. The texture wasn't too mushy and was a great dip for the bread and onions they gave. For the shish kabob and soltani kabob, I forgot that the portion sizes were huge. I am a pretty big eater and I could barely finish half of the shish kabob that I ordered. The shish kabob meat was very flavorful and nicely charred. The meat was tender and still slightly juicy on the inside. I tried a bit of the soltani kabob that included koobideh and barg. I really liked the softness and meaty flavor of the koobideh.Overall, My gf and I had a great time here. I was a bit skeptical about the ~$30+ for each dish until I remembered the ridiculous portion sizes given. It was a bang for my buck. I ended up packing 2 lunches with the leftovers of the food. Even after 2 days in the fridge and being reheated, the kabobs were still delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

Ive been coming to Raffi's Place for years, one of my favorite restaurants when it comes to Kababs, food is always delicious and top notch quality was never disappointed. Sadly my last visit last week was very upsetting, service was great but the food took a while to come out. As soon as our entrees arrived "see pictures", presentation was perfect but sadly not the food. Flavor was completely off and barely any flavor, just the taste of beef and chicken, even the famous Basmati rice was off as well. Not sure what was going on that day but this is not the same food I usually have there. It's still an amazing place and I will definitely be back, but hopefully it will be better next time. I wish you this restaurant all the best.

Truly a staple in glendale! Thankfully we got seated right before a dinner rush on a Tuesday. The restaurant is huge with ample seating. It was pretty chilly but thankfully they had heaters! Food took a bit to come out, understandably. I was so torn between all the chicken options but our server helped me decide on the chicken thigh! It did not disappoint! Not dry and flavorful! However i wish they had garlic sauce - it would be 20/10! The portions are HUGE and was able to have my leftovers for lunch the next day lol
