There was a lady who served our party of like 25. I didn't get her name. She was short, petite and she was amazing! Didn't break a sweat I felt overwhelmed for her lol Service 10/10 the lady was great. She was kind and warm and friendly. I got curry and it was very yummy. It's a small place but cute spot for a Sunday brunch or something. The space was a little smaller than I had anticipated but thats not necessarily bad. It's just what it is. Cute spot for pictures n stuff too!

What a great time! A restaurant canceled on my friend's party last minute. Two dozen of with nowhere to go for our Bridgerton Themed Thirtieth Birthday Brunch. Queen Violet accepted us all. We got a long table in the center along with a few four-tops right next to us.The place is gorgeous. Stunning. So cute. So beautiful. Perfect for backdrops. We took literally hundreds of pictures. They took all of our order and our food mostly came out around the same time--ish. Even with so many people. Some of if sis brunch and some of us did Thai. Those who did Thai enjoyed - fried rice, lobster pasta. Those of us who did brunch also enjoyed - blueberry pancakes, crispy bacon. (My eggs weren't scrambled hard enough for me but it was a big group and everyone else's was fine.) The drinks were also great - mocktails that didn't cost the same as cocktails, Thai iced tea, and I enjoyed my Queen Violet mimosa. We were there for at least two hours but didn't feel rushed. We didn't take over the whole restaurant so a few other tables were seated around us outside as well as inside and it was fine. We brought a birthday cake and we lit it and sang. They did add 20% auto gratuity which makes sense. The meals weren't cheap (~$30/person without drinks) - but it's WeHo, it tasted good, and the portions were good too. We all had a great time and I was impressed with their service of our large group. I woulddefinitely recommend them and definitely would come back. Cheers to Queen Violet WeHo!

I was pleasantly surprised by this WeHo Thai restaurant. We reserved the outdoor courtyard for a 40th birthday party with 40 guests. The space was great. Charming, floral and with a random fountain topped with a butt plugged shaped stone. We are in the gay-borhood.The food was well seasoned, amazing flavor and pretty authentic. We had the Tahi Khan-Tok tray Set Menu which was absolutely delicious along side a few other dishes:Magic Noodles with prawns was so tasty.Eggplant Salad with 4 prawns and bacon was amazingThe Yellow Curry dip with the empanada / eggrolls was sizable and could taken home to be eaten with rice. The queen violet pancake was the perfect sweetness, texture and bounce. We also ordered Cigar Rolls which were amazing and filled with spinach. I thought these were better than the eggrolls. We also added the The filet mignon which was a bit salty, but cooked well. All of the dishes would be better with rice because of all the flavor, but i was able to take it home and essentially have another meal! The passion fruit drink I got was way too sweet. I had to water it down a bit.The best part of the meal was ... the FREE parking to the left of the building. Blessed. It honestly made the experience that much better not having to stress about where to park your car.I'm glad that flavors were not compromised even though we were miles from Thaitown.

Wow! This place came recommended and I can see why. Luscious violets encircle the entrance, creating a sense of magic, like entering a fairy tale. Upon passing through this purple archway, one feels transported to a sumptuous garden in a shaded courtyard. Each little table is slightly different from the next , making each feel like its own little carved out space. We were allowed to choose our table, as it wasn't very crowded, and we selected a little round two top just in front of a bubbling fountain, with backdrops of flowers everywhere. Brunch is served daily until early afternoon which made us happy. My friend enjoys her drinks so we each ordered a cocktail. She started with the signature purple mimosa which was perfectly balanced to create interest to the champagne but not too sweet. I ordered the passion fruit mojito which was delicious but not as epic as hers. We ordered the ube purple pancakes and the brunch with the crunchy French toast and shared. The sausage is turkey sausage so I ate that which was flavorful, while she had the pork bacon. The pancakes were delicious. I'm surprised by the reviewers who said they weren't anything special. They were crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. And the purple sauce was light and refreshing. I'd go back just for these. The crunchy French toast was excellent - I love French toast and usually want it just normal, but the crunchy exterior definitely elevated it. The scrambled eggs weren't my favorite since I prefer mine as just eggs and these were creamy , which is how I think most people prefer them. The service was excellent. Our waiter, Earl Grey, was fantastic. Earl was positive and yet deferential, always with a smile. He seemed to beam at how euphoric the place made us, enjoying our excitement. At one point, we'd ordered too much food and drinks, making the table feel small. He overhead me tell my friend we should have taken a four top to get a larger table for all this food. Immediately, Earl brought over a second two top for us to rest extra drinks. If I lived in LA, I'd be here on a regular basis and wish I could try everything on the menu.

I loved this place so much I started on the review mid meal to express the joy from the flavor party in my mouth. I would lick the plates if that was socially acceptableMost fave from top to bottom (shared between 3 ppl): - Lobster Tomyum Pasta $34: tomyum flavor was citrusy and prevalent and oh so yummy. Lobster was cooked well! - New Zealand Lamb Chops Curry $36: I was worried there wouldn't be enough curry but there was JUST enough. lamb was cooked perfectly and tender. brussel sprouts were great too- Magic Noodles $24 - refreshing, succulent savory prawns, and color changing noodles. so kewl. Thai tea $6 was basic. service was friendly and attentiveWould def come back - if I didn't have to drive through heavy traffic to get here, I would prob come here once a month, if not more often ahhhhhhh. cute aesthetic and even better food. love that they have an outdoor patio which is dog friendly!

Did an order to go and it was packed so well. The magic worked at home too! I was so amazed to see the color change! This was definitely made for a Queen!! I have visited Thailand many times and I will say the flavor is authentic as heck!!! It is spicy, sweet, sour, salty all in the most beautiful way. I am so happy I stumbled upon this venue. Prices are reasonable for the area and parking easy too! Can't ask for much more if you are looking for AUTHENTIC food, BEAUTIFUL presentation and ambience of the place, and easy parking!

We were really looking forward to going to this place. The pictures look so fun! But in reality, it looks pretty rundown and not all that at all. The food was OK. Average for Thai food with some unusual dishes. But the big big problem was the service. We had six people in our party and barely saw the waiters ever. Really outrageous. There weren't very many guests in the restaurant so it wasn't like they were too busy or anything. And it was a Saturday night! I saw three people working there. Unfortunately we won't be going back. And you shouldn't either.

Saw all the cute photo ops for this place on Insta, so was super excited to visit. Food tasted great, but the service is soooo slow. Some of us ate before the rest, which is weird. I couldn't get a refill for the coffee to save my life. Maybe they were short staffed, but it's a Sunday, literally brunch day. They need to plan better. The alcohol beverages were not it, I rather not pay that amount if the taste is mediocre.

Perfect for a weekend brunch! I went with a few of my gals and we absolutely loved it. Never mind the cutesy floral decor encompassing the outside seating area, but the food itself was actually really good! Queen Violet stands out for their violet-colored menu items such as their magic noodles and some beverages. I was a little weary of such a place as often it can be "gimmicky" and cute-looking while the food itself lacks in flavor. However there is nothing lacking about Queen Violet! We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered including the magic noodles, khao soi, Mongolian beef, an off-menu larb dish they so kindly created, and even their quesadilla! Add bottomless mimosas and you've got an epic brunch experience right there.
