My daughter and I were looking for a good Ethiopian food place before catching a show at the Kia forum. The place is very quiet and comfortable with both tables and a bar. The food came out quickly and it was really good. I would recommend this place, very unassuming but very authentic. The coffee was good too. Suggest adding a zero alcohol beer to the menu. Otherwise perfect!

I have always wanted to try Ethiopian food and today was the day.The parking lot can be kinda hectic, but we went at 430 so it wasn't too bad.Walking in the place smelled so good! They had a little bar and a few people in there socializing and just having a good time.It was a very nice, comforting environment. We had the fried appetizer with lentils. I forgot what it was called.I got the vegetarian dish and everything was 100/10. So freaking good. It came with the injera and we used our hands to scoop up and eat it.BF got the kitfo! It was raw beef and came with the yummiest spinach!I don't eat meat but I tried a teenie piece and it tasted good! How unique and flavorful! Def added new tastes to my palette.I will come again!

I came here on a Sunday evening after a game at SoFi stadium with some friends for dinner. We were craving Ethiopian, and this restaurant came up as one of the closest around, plus we had to drop off a friend at LAX right after so this was perfect. This restaurant is located in a small plaza with decent parking. It didn't take us too long to get seated and we ordered fairly quick. Between the five of us, we shared two portions of the vegetarian combo, one portion of doro wot, and one portion of lamb tibs. The food took a little while to come out, but once our platters were right in front of us, we were ready to dig in. The doro wot was poured into the middle of our platter, piping hot and fresh. Our waitress ensured we had fresh injera at all times. We left the restaurant feeling extremely full and satisfied. Staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. I would come back again if I was in the area again.

Our fav Ethiopian in the area. We pick up from there regularly for our "Shabbat dinners" with my kids/grandkids. Food is fresh, tasty, reliable... I totally rely on and trust this establishment. Be aware: you'll salivate driving home with the delicious fragrances... yum!

Two vegetarian samplers and awaza tibs was our order. It was all put together in one big sampler dish as I was hoping for since I took my family of four. I wanted to treat them to something new and traditional since they have never been to an Ethiopian restaurant. I am glad I chose Queen of Sheba because they lived up to their ratings. The food was all very delicious, flavorful, well portioned and prepared fast. My family was very happy and were very impressed with how beautiful the food was presented and how flavorful everything was. The Ethiopian art and music gel very well with food for the perfect Ethiopian ambiance. Customer service was also on point. Very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Great place to have delicious Ethiopian food!

Queen of Sheba is the closest Ethiopian food to the south bay, and I am thrilled that I can get it on Doordash.Because only one thing can scratch my itch for injera!Their Doro Wot hit the spot, and the Lamb Awaze Tibs are awesome. The pepper sauce is sweet and spicy, and there's something so rich about the flavors that you can't help but keep eating. The Vegetarian Combo is great if you want a variety solid sides so you're not just eating meat. They have some lovely lentils and lighter greens in the mix. Good food, great tibs. Would definitely recommend.

Warm and kind service with good food. The space is small and cozy with lovely artwork on the walls and a fragrant incense in the air. At night, soft lighting creates a soothing ambiance and melodic tunes fill the space, soft enough for visitors to still engage in conversation.

UPDATE March 2024:I went back yet again, and once again, perfection. This time I tried the lamb awaze tibs, and they were delightful - and the bounteous kitfo portion came with a wonderful side, typically of greens and cheese, but this time with the perfect balance of crunchy coriander. So, so good._____________I've tried almost all of the Ethiopian restaurants in Los Angeles, and am such a fanatic of the cuisine that I named my son's middle name Injera. For years, Meals By Genet was my fave, but Ms. Agonafer's semi-retirement and limited store hours made me search for others. I then enjoyed some great meals at Marathon, until their brilliant chef Tenange went on to found Lalibela down the street, and from around 2015 on that became my go-to place, where they served up near-flawless masterpieces to my family and friends time and again. But for the past 18 months, I've had some disappointing meals there: bland dishes; indifferent service; and price increases (and portion decreases). And it wasn't just me: two of my friends told me on separate occasions that they'd been suprisingly disappointed there on recent visits. And that's when I discovered Queen of Sheba. I had stayed away at first for two dumb reasons: the location (Inglewood is far for me) and the name (it sounded a little generic, like the old days when you'd go to Great Wall Chinese Restaurant). But once the food came, my only thought for the next hour was OH MY GOD THE FOOD. Every single veggie dish we tried - from the kek to the shiro to the mesir to the gomin to the shibera - was insanely great. Of course, that may have been a fluke, so I went back, and got it again, this time with the kitfo - and not only were all of the veggie dishes on-point, but the raw kitfo was gorgeous, fresh, and with generous portions. The goden tibs are (as Saba said they would be) chewy and dry (by design), but the taste was phenomenal: buttery, charred, grilled. Saba is absolutely brilliant, and runs a good ship: the waitstaff have been kind, and they make so many things so well. I also learned that on Thursdays, the place turns into a party, as they get an entire cow fresh from Corona and use every part to serve up the freshest meat dishes possible. That said, I'm more than content to keep digging into their vegan offerings, and hope that they make inroads into the vegan community in Los Angeles and beyond. Move over Tenange, move over Genet: there's a new Queen in town, and her name is Saba. Will keep going back and report if it their quality ever dips, but I've just found my new go-to place, and I can't wait to go back and satisfy my Ethiopian food fix from this beautiful place.
