Lovely and warm atmosphere with friendly, charming staff. Food was stellar! Tri Colore salad and calzone were the best I have ever eaten. Music was a bit loud, so maybe turn it down a bit - your place inspires conversation!Odd to read all the vegan haters reviews. So sad they had a judgy experience.

Funny enough, you would never suspect this oncoming rave review would come from a person who got sat at arguably the worst table in the house - a skinny table at the rear of the restaurant, right in front of the bathrooms. But, the truth of the matter is...it didn't matter. Walking in without a reservation a couple months ago, the place was packed, so my gf and I left. This time, I made a reservation and got in. The atmosphere was dark yet lively, making the atmosphere feel like a well kept secret / a quasi-speakeasy. Our server was on it from the get-go, and super attentive to our needs. Here's what we ordered: mint lemonade, the meatballs in marinara bread with ricotta cheese, the animal lover's calzone, the black magic lasagna, and the Tiramisu. I cannot overstate how insanely good the bread with ricotta cheese was. After one bite, I looked up and told my girlfriend this is the best vegan ricotta cheese I've ever had without a shadow of doubt. The meatballs were perfect for what they were, however I would not particularly recommend them as you can find plant based meatballs in marinara sauce anywhere. Stick to the unique items. The black magic lasagna was outrageously unique in flavor. If you love lasagna, but are looking for something different, it is an absolute must and worth the stomach space. A truffle lover's delight hands down. The tiramisu was not just moist: it was wet and gooey. A lovely take on the dessert and cannot wait to order it again in the future. Finally, the calzone was the star of the show and simply extraordinary. You would have no idea that it was plant-based, and it was huge: twice as large as expected. I cannot recommend this restaurant more to BOTH vegans and non-vegans

We had a double date. Everybody liked their food and our friend loved her hazelnut ice cream Affogato at the end. We also enjoyed the donut dessert that is called zeppole. I like the Arancini balls and the pasta that was first on the menu - pomodoro with polpettine meatballs. The meatballs were at the boundary of spicy for me and the pasta was very good. The Arancini was lovely and the marinara sauce for it was also good and the little pesto ball on top was also good. The other two had the two different kinds of lasagnas and they both enjoyed them. Syd and Tom, our servers, were very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for them. We opened with the za'atar bread that had less than 1% za'atar on it. Otherwise was good. We sat on a high top by the door, which was cold because it's cold outside, but probably the quietest table in the restaurant.

I tried this place based on recommendations from my fellow vegan/vegetarian friends, and... it was okay! My wonderful carnivore friend joined me--she's not as picky as I am. We ordered the Black Magic Pizza, Garlic Knots, and Broccoli Rabe. The service was quite slow, especially for a Friday evening at 6 PM when the restaurant wasn't very busy. That said, I appreciated the staff member who cleared our plates promptly whenever we were finished--great service on his part! Unfortunately, our waitress was slow, from taking our order to bringing everything else. The food also took quite a while to come out, so I'm not sure about the overall experience. The reason I gave the restaurant this rating is that the food didn't have that wow factor. I'm not sure if it was the slow service or the uncomfortable high-top seating that put me off, but overall, it was just... meh. I was a little surprised about the Garlic Knots--they didn't taste like how they imagined they would. To me, they tasted like fried donuts with a garlic flavor. The tomato sauce dip was good, though! The broccoli was pretty good, though a bit too salty--still, I'd rate it a solid 3/5. Lastly, the Black Magic pizza was unique... it tasted like a "healthy" pizza. The flavors didn't stand out, but the waitress recommended it. On the bright side, I liked the soft, doughy crust of the pizza!I had made reservations online beforehand, which I highly recommend doing. While I loved that everything was vegan, I have to confess I still prefer Crossroads!

Finally got to try this place last night and it did not disappoint. Came here with my girl friends and we made a reservation for the pizzeria side. We shared all the food and I was very impressed. We started with the baked ricotta and the bread was so soft and perfect with the spread. We could've done without the Ceasar salad, it was average. Maybe I should've just got the Romain instead of mix with kale. For pastas we got Black magic lasagna and carbonara which were so creamy and not lacking anything. We also got the San Genaro pizza. We were soooo full by the end of everything and proud of ourselves for finishing it all. I will def be back!

This is a totally vegan Italian restaurant. We ordered a few items to share. It was all full of flavor and delicious. You won't believe everything is vegan. It's so good. This place is setup like fine dining. You may need a reservation. The staff is great. They will help you pick a great meal.

We are not vegan however we had some guests in town that are vegan and suggested we go here for lunch. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, it was very loud inside that would be my only complaint as it was hard to hear each other talk. It is a very spacious Place. I recommend this place even if you are not vegan you will absolutely love this food. They only serve beer and wine. All cocktails are made with a rice wine, which you cannot tell the difference in the drinks. A little on the pricey side, but in my opinion worth the price as the food was excellent.

Love a vegan option place however I do not enjoy the surplus charge of just vegetables! It seems like this place is super well known that it was recommended by my brother's girlfriend! We had a couple things to share, and I really enjoyed the spaghetti because it was pretty flavorful as for texture it was lacking! I'm not a huge vegan restaurant, but this did get some plus with the service and wine option! It is a smaller restaurant, but it is nice and cozy!

As someone who isn't vegan nor gluten free, this is really good. I keep coming back for the carbonara.. Service and ambiance are standard, nothing notable. A bit overpriced for the portion sizes.
