What can be said that hasnt already hasnt been said about the World Famous Beverly Hills Polo Lounge tucked away inside the 113 year old, 1st hotel in the city. Beverly Hills HotelOpened in 1941, this place doesn't disappoint, one of the few remaining places in this city that has stood the test of time & continues to operate at a high capacity as wellThe Polo Lounge is said to have been created for Neil McCarthy a regular & his team for their luxurious breaks from the polo fieldIts definitely a see-and-be-seen spot, with a mature crowd of some of the most influential people in the city. This is where also a lot of big deals are made to happen or just catch up with old friends, usually all the power players are hereEntrance is through finely polished wood walls, as if you are walking into a members-only lounge, the walls covered in photos of the menu & iconic photos taken at the lounge through the yearsThey have a strict dress code so come correct. No flip flops, sandals, only proper appropriate casual attire. No hats for the gentleman, ripped jeans, no shorts, sleeveless shirts etc. There are a few, high in demand booths here & they are usually booked in advance or held for Very Very VIP's but sometimes you get lucky. They usually have live jazz music playing through out the day, a pianist, once in awhile a singer or a sax & guitar player but usually the pianist is the staple hereSunday brunches are my favorite, 3 course menu works out well, have awesome pancakes & tortilla soups. My personal favorite starters lately has been the Ahi Tuna Tartare perfectly made along with the Seafood Plateau that has Maine Lobster, Oysters, Prawns, King CrabThe mains that Ive usually had for their Sunday brunches have been -TRUFFLE & MUSHROOM OMELETTE-PRIME STEAK & EGGS-LOBSTER 'ROLLS ROYCE '-AMERICAN WAGYU BURGERThe one that you can never go wrong with is the Wagyu burger cooked to perfection every time the sauce the bread everything is perfectThe menu prices are extremely high here expect Starters to be $40+ Mains to be $50+ Desserts $25+ Sunday Brunches are pre fixed at $155 per person for 3 coursesUsually extremely booked, as it goes into the evening it slows down, but they are usually wrapping up around 10:30 sometimes 11PMIf you come later in the evenings they have a specific desert menu & small bites if you have a late night appetite. The truffle parmesan fries are one of my favorites. They can do photos of hollywood icons in your hot chocolate or espressos etc which is a nice touchOverall love this place & bringing friends here, it truly is a staple of this city & hope its legacy lives on for at least another 84 years!Highly recommend

Absolutely love this restaurant! We sat outside on the patio on the most perfect day. I had made reservations about a month earlier and would have preferred a booth to get some shade but the booths were taken. The booths were definitely reserved for the regulars (the fabulous "ladies who lunch") and they were able to put up an umbrella that worked perfectly. Alex was our server and he was wonderful! We had a couple cocktails and ate on the bread basket and enjoyed the ambiance and didn't feel rushed. We ordered our food and ended up taking it to go. They gave cute to go bags and put our leftovers away for us. Food review:The Mccarthay salad lived up to its hype! They did a half order for me and I asked if there were any common modifications. I ended up only adding extra cheese and it was the right choice! Steak and frites were fantastic! Previous reviews said that the idea of rare/medium rare/medium were all more undercooked than ordered. We ordered well done and it came out as medium well. Reviews were correct! There is a delicious truffle aioli with the really thin fries. Alex gave us a free slice of cake for our celebration and made it really special for us. He was wonderful and it was exactly what we wanted -- thank you, Alex!I can't wait to come go back and try out more items!

I've heard a lot about the iconic Polo Lounge for the longest time but didn't try it till now because I had thought food would be mediocre. But, to my surprise, the food was actually the highlight of this establishment. Unfortunately, it was also very expensive. While food was great, I personally feel it is overpriced. $48 for a crab cake doesn't make sense, considering you can get a great crab cake somewhere else for much less. Ambiance is just decent. It has a classic Hollywood, polo equestrian vibe but somehow it felt quite plain and also outdated. And service was cordial and professional yet also transactional. Food though was very good. Every dish had great flavors and quality tasted fresh. We ordered salmon and tuna tartare to start and they were both delicious and savory. For entrees, we ordered branzino and filet mignon. Branzino was tender and well seasoned while the filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium to my preference. Cocktail drinks were very refreshing and chocolate soufflé was amazing.

While in town for a conference, some colleagues and I visited the iconic Polo Lounge for a light dinner. As expected, everything was top notch: food, service, and ambiance. I had the chicken tortilla soup as a meal and the carrot cake as dessert. The carrot cake tops my list as one of the most delicious desserts I've had. The Polo Lounge is a must visit for those visiting the area.

We had afternoon brunch here on a Saturday, there's live music indoors and an outdoor area with patio seating filled with plants, trees, and beautiful flowers. we ordered the polo power bowl and other lunch items. Upon arrival, there's valet to park your car. The service is excellent and prompt. The ambience is quiet and very clean

I have a tradition of taking my family there on Jan 2nd to kick off the New Year. Always impeccable: service, food, classic decor, and of course A+ people watching. Mostly old school celebs like Oprah, Joan Collins, Sidney Portier, George Hamilton, etc. but you never know who might stroll in.
