I really wanted to like this place but I thought the food was just OK. The chicken looks great out of the box and was juicy but really lacked flavor/salt for me. It needed a lot of help from the green sauce but even the sauce really just added heat/spice vs. flavor. The side salad and the corn on the cob were also underwhelming and seemed like random vegetables in a box from a salad bar. Parking is challenging as there is a very small lot with no more than 10 spots. However, there is metered street parking nearby but will be a walk.

Michelin Bib Gourmand for a reason. I've driven past this place for 10 years and always wanted to try it, but never got around to it until a few months ago, and oh baby lets get into it. So to start off with a life hack the parking lot it tiny and not fun to navigate so park on the side street and call ahead for your order otherwise you'll be waiting 20-30 minutes if its around peak time for your meal. Ordered a whole chicken and that fresh Aji green sauce ( ordering this is a must). The chicken itself was literally falling off the bone juicy and mixing it up with that Aji sauce and you got one of the best bites of chicken in town. One of the hidden in plain sight top eats in LA and its right here in Ktown. Definitely worth a try, and if you havent make sure you do because word is still spreading and its been getting busier and busier. Come here!

You come here for the chicken. The wood-fired, smokey, tender, juicy, and delicious chicken. Was it the best chicken that I've had in Los Angeles? Probably not. But it was very satisfying, deserving of its top-tier rating, and made our longish trek to K-town worthwhile. We called ahead and were told that it'd be at least an hour before our two 1/2 chicken meals would be ready. So I was surprised to find that the place wasn't busy when we arrived. I'm pretty sure they are cued to finish the togo orders once the customers get there. Not a huge issue though, we only waited about 10 minutes once we got there and paid for our food. We did arrive over an hour after calling to order. I get why they do it this way if there's a large backlog of orders. Good to know in case we come back and call ahead again. The sides? They're fine. Nothing to rave about. As I mentioned earlier, you come for the chicken. But the sides get the job done in complementing your chicken meal. Near K-Town and craving rotisserie chicken? Then you'll be more than satisfied if you stop at Pollo A La Brasa.

Much better than El Pollo Joko. Savory, juicy chicken, seasoned just right. Great fresh cut fries, good rice, and great black beans.

Price = $10-$35 | Service = below average | Cleanliness = average | Parking = Lot but small | Interior = old restaurant style dinerOrdered the half chicken with rice and beans which cost around ~$18. They have tables to dine in that look like the old diner style. There's a small parking lot that can fit about 5 cars. Be warned...this place does not have good customer service. The cashier was not friendly at all.Now...this is one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had EVER! Wow. Each piece of this half chicken was absolutely delicious with flavor and oozing with juices. The juices were literally dripping out with each bite. The rice with some carrots complemented the black beans in a broth like soup that tasted like they were made with meat. This place is highly recommended if you are a chicken liver or even meat lover. This is one of the best meats I've had.

Went for the first time today. I got the 1/4 chicken dark meat, rice and beans. I knew that it could take a while for the order, and they were true to form. It took about 15 or 20 minutes to get my food after ordering. I waited inside and breathed in the wood smoke. The chicken was good, but the skin was not as crispy as I was expecting after reading the reviews. Next time I want to try the fries, which are supposed to be good.At 1 PM on Labor Day Monday, there was a constant line. About half the people are getting orders to go. The other half are jostling for the 6 or 7 tables. The parking lot is small with only one entrance but I was able to find street parking nearby.

Pollo A La Brasa - Western (est: 1988) is considered the top Peruvian spot for rotisserie chicken. The wood-fire roast chicken is GREAT! It's just that if you are NOT walking distance or live in the area where you Uber or Grubhub/Doordash it ; the PARKING situation proves impossible to eat here. Try it yourself and see. GOOD NEWS: they have location in Gardena, CA! *Pro tip* the owner suggested "STREET" parking instead of their tiny 5 car maximum lot. If you park in the private front lot, you most likely will be "blocked in" when leaving; you will. And backing up in "reverse" onto 8th street speeding heavy traffic is NOT fun.... Not to mention street/residential parking is impossible! My suggestion? Bring a friend/spouse/ anybody that can drive to circle the block or find a nearby business parking lot and buy something small there so you can park- then walk to Pollo A La Brasa- Western. Every celebrity chef in town and Food Network star "Marcus Samuelsson", LOVES it here. Ok great, but my question is where the "expletive" do they park?Anyhow, the food is VERY good and inexpensive . Expect a 30 to 60 wait time. Boss lady that's loud is cool and workers are busy af - tip well and they will hook you up with essentials without asking (By the way, their Green Sauce is very Spicy; spicier then most Peruvian places I been to).You will smell like SMOKY Chicken after leaving! The Place is tiny. If you must dine-in, there are probably like 5 or 6 tables available. Personally, I won't revisit as often as I like too, due to parking issues. However, if parking isn't an issue for you then this place is sincerely great.Cash and Credit accepted. Parking: Forget about it.
