Pizzeria Vivoli & Italian Grill

Food was sooooo good. Definitely gonna be coming back. Lasagna and chicken parm are a must.

Oh no...but I may have to drop the meatball on this place. We came here for a friend's birthday and came here because we were watching a couple of sets at the Laugh Factory afterwards so it super close -- literally across the street Ok, great. Get some pizza, pasta, and then watch a bunch of comics. Awesome right? Oh no...they obviously dropped the meatball and bad. Why you ask?Well. It was our friend's birthday right? I mean this happens once a year right? Well...it was just not a good experience. I got a bad feeling when we walk into the place on a Saturday night and NO ONE is in the place. Just our two friends whose birthday it was and we were literally the only table in the place. We told the server that it was our friends birthday and so we ordered away. We ordered the Marguerite pizza and a Caesar salad -- they had the Marsala and another chicken dish. The food -- eh. It was ok. Fairly priced. The place is ok too, not too romantic, not too big but maybe they only do take out because the service was horrible. But yea this night was practically crickets. Only ones there. The server though never asked how things were after bringing out the food. I had to refill my own water and he also missed some condiments that I asked for. At the end of the meal, he never asked for things were, no mention of dessert or anything for our friend and so we left because we just needed to get to the show. They said they validated parking for 7950 West Sunset since we parked there and were told to park there. So when I get to the car the validated ticket was no good. They gave me a ticket from 2023!! So the parking alone cost us $24 because it could not be validated. Not a great night. Honestly if it wasn't for Orny Adams and Dane Cook at the Laugh factory the night would have been FUBAR. And yes Dane sometimes you gotta go on Yelp and tell others how you made me laugh but that pizza and parking cost more than your set. :-(

This place is so cute! We went on a late Sunday evening and the food was very good! The pizza tasted authentic and the pasta sauce was so good as well. The service was great and the waiter was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be going back.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight, brought his son and girlfriend. What happened??!! It was AWFUL. We used to be regulars. It's been maybe two years. We walked in, no white table cloths, no charm, plates were plastic. The interior looked like a cafeteria. The food was tasteless, salad drenched in dressing, marinara sauce like canned tomato soup. Our young server tried hard, I asked him if the restaurant changed ownership. He said he'd only worked there two months. I used to see a host or owner at Vivoli greet us warmly when we dined there. No more. What a disappointment and honestly with this level of bad food and atmosphere they should pay you to eat there. Sad.

I think this restaurant is West Hollywood's biggest secret. It is in a small corner, but it makes you feel like you're neighborhood Italian home. The spicy sausage with penne pasta is perfectly seasoned along with an amazing Chianti. The bread with an olive tapenade was the perfect intro into my meal. If you're looking for, good Italian from an authentic Italian chef, come and support this local business. Cheers!

My second time here and I came back for this pizza "The Giribaldi" soooooo freaking good. Super friendly and attentive service from Manu and relaxing atmosphere. :)

The pizza was so good we forgot to take a picture! Ordered the Grimaldi with pepperoni (add!), pizza came fast and was delicious. Good crust and lots of prosciutto. Great place to go to after catching a show at the Laugh Factory. Staff was so sweet, crème brûlée was perfect!

Always have a great experience when I come here. What I like most is how accommodating the staff is. I also feel it's one of the last remaining authentic tasting Italian restaurants that doesn't ruin it by overcharging. A+ thanks!

Food is good but the organization skills in this place is awful. We arrived at 5.35pm, two tables came 10 to 15 mins after us. They got served their food before our pizzas were even made, I had a hangry toddler who kept seeing pizzas come out and being so patient when I explained it wasn't our pizzas. I finally let the guy serving us know we still didn't have our food and it was about 40 mins now and like I said two other tables got their food within 15 mins after arriving 15 mins AFTER us. I saw him ask the pizza maker and chef and it looked like they were arguing about it. So they only started making our food at 40 mins in. There was also an event of some sort next door and people were coming in and ordering food and drinks so it was a bit of a shit show. I couldn't stay for dessert bc we really needed to get our kid home as it was getting late. We waited in a queue to pay our bill and the guy who served handles that and take out orders and he was struggling. I think they just needed more staff. This is my second time here after being blown away by their pizza the other night, I'm hoping the event next door was the issue but really they should have got more help.

Delicious food, cosy staff . Great location and value. Ambiance is comfortable and diverse.
