Normally, I try to avoid driving into the Hollywood area, but my boyfriend found this absolute gem of a place for our Valentine's Day dinner, and it was so worth it! Pizzaria Mozza exceeded all expectations--from the moment we arrived, the valet parking made things easy, and the warm, intimate atmosphere set the perfect mood. Our server, Delfina, was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. The meatballs were insanely good, and the pizza was absolutely incredible--perfectly crisp crust, rich flavors, and every bite was a delight. The restaurant has a cozy, low-light ambiance with just the right amount of vibey lighting, and the music added to the experience without being too loud. The ice cream Sunday was great too! Overall, an amazing experience, and we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Can't believe we've been put into this position of doing this for a restaurant we've loved for over a decade, but after the way we were treated at a recent visit to Pizzeria Mozza, we can only downgrade them to one star.On December 15th my spouse and I booked a $50 gift reward from OpenTable at Pizzeria Mozza, after seeing it as an option on OpenTable's rewards reservation website. The way these cards work, the restaurant just keys in the reward like they would a VISA or MC reward card. (In fact, this is technically a MC gift card, as it says on the reward.)When we arrived, I informed the waiter of the reward, which OpenTable recommends you do, and he assured me it would be taken care of at the end of the meal.We enjoyed a fabulous meal, and at the end I gave him my phone to run the reward card saved to it. After a very long wait (during which he had my phone), the waiter returned to say that they don't participate in the OpenTable reward program and won't accept it. We explained how it worked, showed him the instructions, and asked him to try again, but he continued to say they were not set up to allow it.Two other managers came out to explain again and again that they don't participate in the program, including their operations manager who insisted that their contract with OpenTable doesn't agree to rewards. We showed him that Pizzeria Mozza clearly has clearly opted in somehow, or it wouldn't have been on OpenTable's website. We were held there a full extra hour after finishing our meal, and they refused to take action. By this point, it was freezing cold sitting outside, since we weren't close enough to an overhead heater, and we desperately wanted to go home.Eventually, we asked them to cancel the reservation in the hopes that it would put the credit back in the account (it didn't, and we had to fight with OpenTable to get it restored later), and we paid with our personal credit card just so we could leave.Almost 2 weeks after insisting to us that they don't participate in OpenTable's rewards program and promising to reach out to their OpenTable rep to check on it, Pizzeria Mozza is still offering a $50 reward on the OpenTable website. The whole thing was handled so poorly. They treated us like we were cheaters or liars, which was humiliating, especially in front of all the other guests. We're crushed to have to give up on a favorite local spot.Shame on them.

The striped sea bass is not worth it. It's $32 for this tiny dish (see my attached pictures). At first, I thought it was a joke. It's ridiculous to pay that much and still be hungry after. The pizza and bread is good tho. I just don't think it makes sense to pay the same price for one of their pizzas when the pizza is more filling, around the same price of $32, and tastes better. I'm really disappointed, but service is good. Pizzeria Mozza, do better in terms of portions. Just so not worth it.

Came here for a date night with my husband because this is one of our favorite restaurants. They didn't have the bone marrow which we love but everything else was really good. We tried their squash blossom fritti for the first time and it was really good! We also ordered our usual favorites, Mozza Caprese, Pizza Alla Benno, Burrata Pizza and their 16 oz. Delmonico Steak! And everything was amazingly good! Love those cipollini and ricola onions that come with the steak! Our server was also very kind and helpful! We will definitely be back for our next date night! Highly recommend!

Delicious meal with some of the best gnocchi I have ever had. So soft and delicate yet encrusted with pareasen for a little bit of a bite. The Japanese sweet potatoes were to die for too, maybe my favorite part of the meal - besides the lovely bottle of Pecorino wine of course. The sausage fennel pizza was great too and filled with sausage.

Our service was so attentive and knowledgeable! Everyone was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We ordered pane (delicious grilled bread with olive oil, garlic and sea salt), burrata with tomatoes and just the right amount of pesto to go with the salty/garlicky bread! We shared a meat lovers pizza and it was really exceptional. I am already craving the tomato sauce again. We were grateful for valet parking and found the space comfortable and with very New York vibes...but we haven't been to Italy and may have missed that connection.

I've been ordering pizza from Pizzeria Mozza for years but this the first time I've had the chance to have a sit down meal at their flagship location and it was amazing Highlight menu items we're the Nancy's Chopped Salad, Burrata Pizza and the Meatball StarterThe Mozza sundae was a little underwhelming and not a dessert I'd recommend. But definitely get their classic Budino if you need to top the meal off with a sweet biteDefina was our server and she was a star Will be back to try more of their menu and highly recommend their sister restaurant Osteria Mozza if you're looking for a fancier night out and some amazzzzzing pasta and cocktails

On a cold Saturday night, we headed for the outdoor patio. The outdoor setting is always lovely and if weather permits, it is the place to dine versus the crowded and noisy indoor venue. The fennel pizza was a small 3 * as it lacked meat, almost non existent shaved red onions and tarragon and the fennel pollen that they usually sprinkle generously was almost MIA.The lasagne bolognese was good not excellent but what also brought the rating down was the red wine by the quartino: For 250 ml and $25, it was a little herb, flat, without any body. After a disappointing Osteria mozza experience, I wonder what is going on in the Mozza group: Are they starting to nickel and dime on the ingredients or have they hired a new chef? What used to be our beloved destinations have fallen down in our weekly LA food tour. Too bad!

First time here at pizzeria mozza and I now know why people like this place. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy at 5:30pm but eventually it got busier. The food was good, We ordered the fennel sausage pizza, sea bass, and bufala and prosciutto. Service on the other hand.. was not great... we had a different person helping us every time and they hardly came to our table. It was hard to get somebody to help us. As the restaurant got crowded, it was hard to have a conversation. Couldn't hear. Overall it was a good experience but I think I could get other good italian foods elsewhere with better service
