Overall, it was a great dining experience with excellent service and attentive staff! The menu is creative and fuses the vibrant flavors of South Asian cuisine with the casual, comforting appeal of sports bar fare. Would definitely check out the drinks menu featuring classics with a South Asian twist. We had the R&D rotating specialty cocktail, which was refreshing with cucumber and mint. 10/10 would recommend!

Man, that chutney pizza had an amazing kick to it! Dosa onion rings were a huge appetizer and the mango chutney added a refreshing tang to the fried goodness. Their menu is small, but excellently curated. It was a perfect pairing with a hoppy beer, but their cocktails looked fantastic too. I didn't have a reservation, which I'll make sure of next time. It's a relatively small space and was really busy on a Thursday night. There's a small parking lot, but judging by how busy this place was, I would count on street parking. Service was friendly and quick and I was pleasantly surprised when the bill for my friend and I (2 beers each, dosa rings, pizza) was less than a hundred.

Food was super flavorful!! The pasta was my favorite, it tasted like a combination of vodka pasta and tikka masala. The onion rings were a little heavy and sweeter than I was anticipating but still good. Felt dessert-like. And for the pizza, the chutney was a bit too acidic for my taste, but I loved how thin and crispy the crust was. Ambiance is retro and very nice! Good service.Overall would come back!

This fusion spot is off the charts. What ended up being a last minute dinner choice had us thinking it should've been our first. We showed up without a reso and were lucky we got in thanks to the amazing hostess - def recommend reserving ahead of time. Pijja Palace brands itself as a sports bar as well, but it didn't feel at all divey like a lot of sports bars can be (but being here to watch a game would be a vibe). Once the food started coming out, you almost forgot about the gigantic TVs hung on every inch of available wall space. We ordered the Dosa Onion Rings; Achaari Buffalo Wings; Nihari Lamb & Shells Pasta; and Green Chile Chutney Pijja. Everything was PACKED with flavor. Fusion indeed! Drink highlights were the Smoke Show and Margarita. There's a tiny little lot, but your best bet is street parking.

I had high hopes returning to Pijja Palace after a fantastic first visit where every dish exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite live up to that experience, mainly due to poor service and inconsistent food. I sat at the bar, expecting a decent level of attentiveness, but the bartenders were indifferent and unwelcoming. Instead of engaging with customers, they spent most of their time chatting with each other, backs turned, forcing me to work to get their attention. Whether it was ordering another drink or simply asking for extra napkins (which should have been offered automatically with saucy wings), it was a struggle. I waited ten minutes just to get a single napkin. This was at 4:45 PM--not exactly peak hours--so there was no excuse for the lack of attentiveness. The only time I experienced good service was at the end when a different bartender, who had been primarily handling another section, finally took over. As for the food, it was a mixed bag. The Buffalo wings and rigatoni were still excellent, but the onion rings were disappointing--way too heavily battered for my liking. Compared to my first visit, the quality wasn't as consistent. Pijja Palace has some standout dishes, but service plays a huge role in the dining experience, and this visit left a bad taste. I hope to see improvements in the future.

After a year and a half of trying, I finally managed to score a reservation here, and let me just say--hallelujah! The menu had so many unique fusions that I was tempted to try them all, but I ultimately went with the samosas pizza. And wow, it did *not* disappoint. It was like a samosa chaat on a pizza, which I never imagined would work, but the potatoes on the pizza? Pretty creative. I was originally leaning towards the famous chatney pizza, but honestly, this one was even better and more filling with all the potato as the topping.I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in LA. The only downside? The reservation process. It was a bit of a headache, and not having a confirmed day and time until closer to the date is tough, especially when you don't live in LA. I'd suggest they make that part a bit smoother, because it definitely got frustrating at times. But overall, pretty good!

We were really excited to try this place and experience the hype it has received. The onion rings were disappointing as the batter was dense and not crispy. The pasta and chili cheese bread were okay but nothing memorable. Chicken wings were over cooked. The pizza was one of the better Indian pizzas we have had with a good crust.

This spot and its hospitality keeps me coming back again and again!Parking is super tight in the lot, so save yourself the trouble and street park.Dosa rings are the only rings I'll ever need, and the wings are totally fire the next day fresh from the air fryer (TYSM Lola for the reco!). The Friday night team murders it (non-criminal version). One of the only reasons I cross the 110 outside of visiting my college room mate. I seriously whispered "I hate it here" to myself on my last trip out during the All Day Baby last call sale (RIP), but I'll reluctantly brave it for this team and food. I'll then happily trot back to my boring suburb. Y'all are the realest. Keep doing what you do.

This place consistently ranks one of my top restaurants in LA just like everybody else. I ordered dosa onion rings, malai rigatoni, and make your own pizza (peri peri vindaloo + bell peppers jalfrezi + kadai paneer). The dosa onion rings is a unique dish and although I do love it, it is very dough-y and fried/heavy so I can't eat more than maybe 1.5~The make your own pizza was a recommendation and I would continue to pass this recommendation on too! All the flavors and toppings meshed so well together and I loved having paneer on my pizza which I had never tried before. But the star of the show is the malai ringatoni for sure. It is the perfect combination of Indian spice and creamy pasta. As my friend said "the flavor wasn't too overpowering with the right kick and it wasn't trying too hard."
