yum! everything packed a punch in flavor and was very saucy and wet! really liked everything we tried though i'd skip the garlic naan next time, it reminds me more of a doughy paratha than garlic naan. would like to come back for more happy hour items in the future.i parked a 6 min walk away in the neighborhood but it seems most people park in the cardiff lot which has reasonable rates! it's a lovely area to walk around post meal. service was attentive and they provided new sauces for the leftovers to be taken home. both gender neut bathrooms were clean!

We came here on a Friday at 1pm for a business lunch. The food was good - not amazing but not bad, no complaints, however a little too casual for a business lunch. We were seated at tables that were dirty and needed to be cleaned. The music was blaring and we had to ask staff to turn it down so we could talk. Initially they did turn it down but the volume seemed to increase again.Perhaps the environment & ambience is more suited a busy weekend night and not for a business lunch in an empty restaurant

Are you craving a reputable restaurant that successfully captures the celebrated tastes of Asian cuisine while also elevating it with modern, yet authentic appeal?...Then do not come here. I cannot describe the slow, horrific realization I experienced as the night progressed when it was clear that nothing would be tasting good...but it started with the rice. It was effectively clear that whoever made this rice had never eaten, nor actually seen rice. What this restaurant markets as a $5 bowl of "jasmine rice" was drastically undercooked and indelibly dry, with no vapor of Jasmine within its sad grains. I had no choice but to abandon this bowl of rice on the table, slowly succumbing to its fate of cold inedibility--a cruel yet necessary act that my Asian mother would appallingly remark is a punishable crime against our family. Every dish, from the "crispy" brussel sprouts to the miso pork jowl was soggy and oversauced, and to add insult to injury--often with a starkly disappointing, overpowering sauce. The pork jowl was charred beyond recognizability, leaving much to the imagination of whether this was actual pork jowl to begin with, or any other sad part of the pig that was martyred to make this dish. Even the papaya salad--a simple and executable dish, was tasteless aside from the overwhelming vinaigrette that drowned out its sad tendrils of papaya, leaving no complexity in its flavor. I do not doubt that this was once a great restaurant, worthy of its accolades--but I would be remiss to not warn patrons and the owners of this establishment that whoever is seemingly running this restaurant now, cannot in good respect be called a cook with experience in Asian cuisine.

Downtown Culver City is full of gems and Piccalilli is definitely one of them. Location is amazing and ambiance is great! For a Friday night it was the perfect vibe we were looking for. We came hungry so everything on the menu sounded bomb. And we may or may not have over ordered because of that. Our server was friendly and was honest about some of the wait times on certain dishes so appreciate that. We kicked off dinner with drinks. I ordered a Tokyo Breeze and it was alright. It had potential but sadly it was too vodka heavy. Here is everything we ordered:Naan 5/5 - garlic goodness and perfect for sharingRice cakes 5/5 - these were delicious and the sauce was crackChicken Katsu 5/5 - you can never go wrong with fried chickenPotato Wedges 5/5 - potatoes are a must and they're massiveRibeye 3/5 - slightly overcooked and not tender The star of show for me had to be the chicken katsu. Make sure to dip it in the sweet chili sauce. I would certainly come back and get everything again minus the ribeye. It was just slightly underwhelming but fortunately everything else exceeded our expectations!

Best Happy hour in West LA?!!I'm so glad my friends brought us here to try. Parking is convenient since the public parking structure is right across the restaurant and there's some street parking available. We came on a Friday at 5pm and got seated outside in their patio. Their HH on Friday and sat is from 4-6pmWe got everything on the HH menu and it was so flavorful. The wings stood out the most as it was super crispy with a semi sweet spicy glaze. Paired well with the herb salad. We also really liked the pork Jowl, def unique HH items you wouldn't eat at a typical bar.Drinks were amazing - we got the bangtan Thai tea and the sour. That Thai tea is dangerous since it was strong and tasty. Service was friendly and quick I'll definitely be back to eat on the regular menu and sit inside since it seemed like a vibe

Love coming here as they always have something new or switching on the menu. Came during happy hour which has great food and drink options. One was a Thai tea cocktail and it was creamy and sweet. The other the Mekong sour is a unique and herbaceous drink very refreshing. I tried the pork laab this time and it didn't disappoint. Their service is great and I recommend a reservation as they get filled! Great outdoor patio with heaters and indoors is decorated nicely. One of my favorite spots!

Came here again for happy hour because they have one of the best happy hour menus!! It's always nice to come back here because not only is the food always incredible but the servers are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant has such a fun vibe. Got the Thai tea cocktail, chicken wings, Brussels sprouts, and miso pork jowl. Everything was herby, tangy, and delicious!!! Always a great spot to eat!!

Yet another spot I have had on my list forever and finally came in. BLOWN AWAY. We sat at the bar because when we arrived every single table was already reserved! We tried 6 cocktails (all outstanding) the papaya salad, and from the HH menu the pork laab, the wings and Brussels. Great touch for the bar having the giant rice cooker with rice on hand for when needed! It def helped being together all of the incredible flavors we consumed last night. Iago/Yago? The bartender is badass and Ian also makes killer drinks! Yago was an amazing salesman as he is also a huge fan of their food and all of his suggestions were on point. Absolutely thrilled with this dinner and experience can't wait to go back and try more!

Obsessed! Tried the Hamachi Collar, Sticky Spicy Rice Cakes, Bangtao Tea Cocktail, and Red Lotus Cocktail. Everything was outstanding and so was the service and ambiance. The food and cocktails were perfectly and uniquely flavored. No notes.

Service was excellent and food was good, but many of the dishes were too sweet in flavor, like the Brussel sprouts. The carpaccio was the best dish, and the crispy squid was good too.
