We were passing through and craving pho. This place did not disappoint. The food was great (add the mango sticky rice to your order). The lone front employee was excellent.

Pho MDR is always a go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying meal. My friend and I both ordered the mixed pho, and it did not disappoint. The broth here is absolutely fantastic--rich, flavorful, and comforting. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The overall experience was great, as always, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving a good bowl of pho. Can't wait for my next visit!

The place is nice. The staff was nice. Now let me talk about the food. I ordered spring rolls and pho with rare beef on the side. The spring rolls came out. They were good solid spring rolls. The peanut sauce was really delicious. The pho on the other hand was horrible, the broth tasted like hot water with some seasoning in it didn't taste like bone Broth on top of that it was almost $20 for the bowl. I've never been more disappointed in a bowl. The only thing I can compare it to is shitty late night fake Vietnamese from New York made at a Korean restaurant. I would not recommend coming here if you want phoSide bar: they charge you 18% for tip & I was solo

Cute spot in MDR. I love the decor inside and they have a small outdoor patio as well. Service is quick, most people are in and out after ordering. They serve both Vietnamese and Thai food! Love that you have the best of both worlds in the same place.

Pho MDR has really good Pho & Bhan Mis. Is it the best I've ever had in LA, no, but it's still really good, the service is fast too, and it's a good location for a quick pickup in the Marina area.

My friend and I decided to find a Vietnamese place to enjoy on a chilly day when I came across Pho MDR. I loved how cute it was from the outside, so we decided to give it a try.My first impressions were based off of how cute and fun the interior was. Definitely a warm and cozy vibe that my friend and I very much enjoyed. The dining area was a bit small, but we went later in the evening so we had no problem finding a table to dine at.For my beverage, I decided to order a Vietnamese Coffee as it's one of my all time favorite drinks to order at Vietnamese restaurants. Unfortunately, this was probably the worst one I've had. The coffee came with a hugeee amount of condensed milk on the clustered bottom so I made sure to shake it vigorously. Even mixed, it was way too sweet with almost no coffee flavor at all. I asked for more coffee on the side so I can balance it out but that didn't help, it was undrinkable. I didn't want to make a fuss so I just left it on the table and paid for it when it was time to leave. When it came to the dishes themselves, they were actually really flavorful and delicious. My friend ordered pho and she did enjoy it. I loved my noodles as well as they were well cooked and had nice flavor depth to it.In terms of service, this is where it fell quite short for me. My friend and I weren't too pleased that our appetizer came out the same time as our food, otherwise, we wouldn't have ordered it. It was very delicious nonetheless, but kind of a waste in this scenario. They also were out of mangos so we couldn't order dessert.Furthermore, the employee who picked up our check with our cards, took a significant amount of time to run them. She also ran the cards multiple times to the point where my card wouldn't work and my friend got multiple charges on her card. These extra charges were eventually canceled, but I have no idea what the cause of this was. We must've waited 10-15 minutes just to get our cards back. Additionally, a 18% service charge got added to our bill. Could be the reason why our service wasn't quite good, considering they get automatic 18% onto every bill. My friend and I weren't too pleased with this either.Overall, I loved the atmosphere and the quality of the food but everything else was quite disappointing. I don't believe my friend and I will return.

Phi MDR is a very cute and unassuming hole in the wall pho place. There are only street spaces so parking might be a bit of a challenge at certain times of the day. The inside of the place is small and has some themed pho & Vietnamese food art painted on the wall, which is a nice touch. The service was swift and the portions were ample. We ordered the beef loin pho & chicken pho as well as the egg rolls with pork. All the great flavors were there- the beef was tender, and the broth was nice and hot. We thought the pork spring rolls were pretty great too. We left very full and satiated, it definitely hit the spot!

Pleasantly surprised with this spot and honestly didn't even know it existed until tonight. It was a cold and misty evening and they were definitely short handed, but they hustled hard and the wait for food wasn't bad at all, although we did have to ask for our drinks a couple times. The veggie spring rolls with garlic beef were delicious. The pho portion was massive and all the flavors were there. Tender beef, super fresh toppings and a nice clean broth really hit the spot. Interior is kind of strange as they made it feel like an exterior. It's also a bit tight inside with a lot of Doordash pickup traffic so it felt a little crammed at times. Overall, solid food with a couple rough edges. Definitely a nice spot when you're in the area and want some decent Pho in a pinch.

My rainy day sneezy coughy day must have. Their soups are my remedy now. Perfect broth, not as salty as when they started. I can add more of my spices and sauces at home. Fresh herbs. My stomach approved the quality.

This place is very small and cozy and has a cool atmosphere, the service is pretty kind. The food on the other hand ... total rip off. Payed for two pho beef brisket and both came in huge bowls with so much broth but almost 0 beef and very little noodles. The broth is tasty and the beef was tender but to pay 17 dollars for a couple slices of thin beef is just not worth it. I couldn't even get full off of the noodles. We also ordered the garlic beef egg roll and those were also disappointing, not a nice crisp and the sauce served with it wasn't good. Will not be coming back just way too pricey. Also they charge a 18% gratuity for everyone no matter your party size which was the final nail in the coffin, there were 0 signs saying they charge 18% gratuity no matter size party. So come here if you wanna spend 22+ on the most unfilling pho!
