Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

Ohhhhh!!! You lost a star!!! We haven't been here in a while, and since we were in the area, we came in because we love the cevichi!!! To our dismay, we were told they stopped serving it five months ago. NOOOOOO!!!! Everything else was good. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated right away. We were happy that happy hour starts early at 2pm. My only suggestion... add more items for happy hour food, not much there. Other than that, thank you for your service and hospitality. Jorge did a great job serving us!! Miss you Linda!!!

I hate to do this but maybe this can cause improvements in food prep/sanitation. My husband and I went here for dinner a few weeks ago and ordered beef fajitas. We both agreed the meat tasted gamey, like not actual beef? My mom and I went again 3 days ago. She wanted to share fajitas so I convinced her to get the chicken fajitas. It tastes good. However, 2 days later we both got very sick, with diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and fever. I'm giving 2 stars because the service was very good.

My friends and I usually go to Pepe's once a week for their fantastic A La Carte lunch menu.It's so hard to find affordable prices nowadays, and Pepe's never disappointed. Unfortunately, we learned this week that new management has decided to stop offering a lunch menu. Our waiter, I believe his name is Adolfo, was as pleasant as always. All the waiters working here are very friendly and so helpful, Pepe's used to be packed for lunch and that'snot the case anymore. I believe a lot of regulars will stop coming for this reason. It's a shame.

This place has a bar towards the back of the restaurant.This place you may either enter from the street or through the alley and go up some stairs and through a door.This place may look like it's small, but don't let that fool you.This place has really great tasting food.I highly recommend coming here.

The place was buzzing on Friday evening. We were seated quickly, and their margaritas were outstanding. Their salsa, which was more like pico de gallo, was fresh, and their spicy salsa was balanced and flavorful. The chipotle chicken had a good amount of sauce and was tasty. Good portions, great taste, excellent service, and good quality food.

We absolutely loved this place. The food was flavorful and well priced. Complimentary chips and salsa, fairly easy weekday parking in the back, and good service. Honestly a nice vibe! My boyfriend & I both liked our burritos quite a lot, and want to go back at some point to try more items. The burritos were also so massive that we definitely could have split one! ;)

This place deserves a much better rating - it's so good and the service was friendly and prompt. Was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of all that our table of four tried. The appetizer platter was sublime - and that green salsa and chips exactly what we hoped for. The meals were excellent - especially the mole! PWhoa, what a flavor! I've been missing a real traditional spicy flavor like that. Ambiance looks better once you step inside off the street.

This friendly neighborhood gem serves up delicious food at affordable prices, making it a favorite amongst locals. I went during lunch and hey had a good crowd.What a deal! I ordered 2 ground beef hard shell tacos a la carte. For just $7, you get a massive hard-shell taco loaded with your choice of flavorful fillings like chicken or beef. The shells are perfectly crispy, the meat is cooked to juicy perfection, and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. It's a meal in itself and a steal for the price!I'm definitely coming back for a lunch under $10.

Guacamole is so bad we didn't even eat it. It stunk! Even our 3y old said yuck. Margaritas qualify as the worst I ever tried. We left them, and are heading elsewhere.

Pepes was an amazing mexican restaurant with great deals especially lunch specials. Now they have so many menus and so many hidden charges like you must buy a drink to get the deal. I would come twice a month and now im so disappointed. No more munch specials unless you buy a drink. Sucks!!
