Paty's is our go-to for easy, good diner food ever since Corky's closed. Same menu, etc., just further away. We love taking our 2 puppies when the weather is good, so we can sit outside. We've eaten this food for so long, I can't imagine how many times. Rotisserie Chicken, clam chowder on Fridays, grilled salmon, turkey club, great onion rings, patty melt, Cobb salad, California chicken sandwich, Hanger (I think) steak, to name a few. Their fresh pies are very good as well. Service is usually very good. Nice and easy does it.

Staff is very welcoming. They are able to sit you right away for dinner. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a parking out back with many spaces or you can easily find street parking. This is a great place to grab a bite and catch up with an old friend. Many people who work at the surrounding studios tend to hang out here. The menu has a variety of diner classics.Half Broasted Chicken Special- 8/10 Great value and great food. Was juicy and tender also very filling. I would probably skip the side of vegetable.Skirt Steak Chimichurri- 7/10 Tender cut of meat but was over cooked. The rice pilaf was nice and buttery. The chimichurri tasted like it was out of a bottle.

It's a big no for us. Food was very simple, I got Cinnamon French Toast, looked and tasted like ..toast. Nothing to write home about. Husband got "Famous" Corned Beef Hash. It literally was fried corned beef on top of hash browns. uh, No thanks!Forget about getting more coffee, service was non existent. Big pass!

Patty's is a fun breakfast place! The outdoor seating is nice and the indoors is pretty old-school and cool also. The menu has a good selection of a variety of dishes and the service is really good too, fast and friendly.

Step back in time and come to a warm, fast, homey diner in Toluca Lake. Paty's is the place to be to relax, eat, drink coffee, have some pie, watch the world go by on the patio, and be with family and friends.Photos of celebrity line the walls. Emily was our server and she was fantastic. Quick, efficient, and extremely sweet. Paty's has everything: two egg breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, quesadillas, pie, meatloaf, you name it.You won't find better pie at a gourmet bakery than you will here. The patio is super dog friendly too! Come on down and enjoy. I love it here. It's a nice place to come for some slow living with fast service.

I consider this a classic spot in LA. The service is efficient and friendly! I love sitting outside as much as I do inside. The food is alright, does the job. Nonetheless, it's a nostalgic restaurant to me that I'll still go to from time to time.

I rarely sit down at a restaurant nowadays but wanted to try something different. Came 2/19 for dinner and Becca was our server. She was so kind and patient with our weird requests. The food was good, I got the chimichurri steak. Big portion! Will definitely be coming back

Child French toast was a piece of bread and nothing else for ten dollars. No thank you. Adult serving is 15 with sides and four slices. Not accurate in my opinion.

Having lived in the area from 1975 to 1996 we had many meals at Patys. We came to town on business 2/17/2025 and thought "oh yes let's go to Patys"WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. When away from the customers - the new owners/servers do not speak English -- not sure exactly what dialect but it is some sort of Asian. Now some people might not be bothered by this but we were. They thrive on the lifelong incredible status that the original owners created - leaving their photos and awards all over the restaurant walls. OK so how about the food? Well, my husband said "No hash browns" and his California Omelette arrived with half the plate covered with - um - disgusting looking hash browns - stringy - brown - very unappetizing. The coffee used to be delicious. Not anymore. I ordered a Lox plate --- anyone know what that brown stuff is around the edges of lox slices? You don't want to eat it.Clearly there are still 'regulars' from around the neighborhood which is entertainment people -- when they were leaving the server giggled and said rather affectionately "Ohhhhh we will see you tomorrow" ..Nope, sadly we will never return.
