Patra's Charbroiled Burgers

I am very sad to say that it looks like Patra's is closed. I have been going here for my charbroiled burger fix for over 10 years.It was a happy medium between McDonald's/Burger King/jack in the box and the more expensive smash burgers/Amboy/Cassell's burgers.Always sad to see another one go.

This place sucks. I went on the drive thru and no one helped me. I went inside to order and the female cashier with glasses who hardly speaks English told me that the speaker doesn't work. What's worst that when I was in the drive thru trying to order the cook saw me that I was outside. They didn't bother to help me at all. When I was inside I was told by the female cashier that the speaker wasn't working and the cook also said that it doesn't work when in fact I saw this car in the drive thru ordering. took this picture of a car ordering. This place needs to have better workers. The manager or the owner should be ashamed.

I was craving for some chili cheese fries. This place is just okay. I've had better chili cheese fries elsewhere. Everything is overpriced. A chili cheese fries & a can of soda will run you about almost $15.00 dollars.

I generally come here for the same thing every single time which is their burgers from their Revolution menu. They have a Revolution burger with the right amount of chipotle, bell peppers which adds such a great tiny bit of sweetness, and the meat tastes well done and not greasy or fatty. They have the option of ordering it with the coleslaw to up the health factor which with the bit of lime they provide is decent. However, I have to give in to the best drive thru fries I've ever had. Just crispy, never soggy and a beautiful amount! I love to dip those fries in thousand islands. The only complaint I have is that they close at 9 but I have to pick up my order by 8:30 p.m. It's usually not an issue but sometimes I work far and get there right on time. Oh! And I had an exceptionally kind encounter with the owner. I won't go into detail but he was very kind.

The cook at Patra's is super unprofessional and can't cook a simple meal like Carne Asada fries taste like overnight fries or worse! Hard as a rock! Trust me I won't be back I'd rather starve than come here to this spot! Horrible service! If I could only rate them 0 stars I totally would. They don't deserve any stars! Thank god I went back and got my money back. The cook was like don't come back! I told him straight up I'd rather starve to death than to eat your garbage food and to be honest you should change your profession because clearly you can't cook for shittttt!! Just saying..

The taco salad would have been perfect if they had some lime or salsa to go with it. I asked them for like they said they no. I don't know if you can eat a plain with salad with no dressing or anything, but I did the best I could with only the natural taste of the shredded cheese and sour cream. One thinks of Seinfield's famous line by the Russian chef line: "no sauce / soup for you!"

Ghetto is when a restaurant owner won't let you have direct access to condiments, utensils or even napkins.

I recently went to the old neighborhood to visit mom. On the way there, I asked mom what she was craving and she told me she was craving a Steak Sandwich from Patras. I stopped by and picked up her sandwich and chicken dinner for me. Now this is the Patras from my childhood. The fries were as I remembered, and the chicken was tasty and crispy. I'll gladly stop off again when I'm in town again.

This is the best burger in the city in my opinion. Get the regular cheese, the grande with avocado and bacon, or a double. When I have had the chicken club with avocado and bacon I also enjoyed it quite thoroughly. They offer a drive-through as well as a friendly, clean, and stylish atmosphere to dine in. I hope you don't take my placement of their burger too lightly as I have tried many places and tried these guys repeatedly just to be sure, but they never made me have a doubt that they are my vote for the best burger you can get your hands on.
