Hi.I was waiting for years of years to have the clean Korean Chinese restaurant, finally this one dropped...It's not fancy but clean enough also servers are all friendly and you can order thru the pads. Most importantly the taste is amazingly authentic Korean Chinese food with the franchise creators own recipe- infusing a lot of fire taste and deep frying coat- so well done dishes, but don't forget the portions are huge!Whenever u crave authentic JJajang noodle or Jjangbong noodles, this location is the only one who can make those!!!

I was craving for some noodles for dinner but I was getting tired of eating ramen and happened to stumble upon Paik's Noodle . The restaurant was a little dark but the space was cozy, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was also relatively clean and is located at the back of the restaurant. Customer service was friendly and efficient. My food was served within 10 minutes. If there is a downside to dining in here, it's their parking. You are forced to hand over your keys for valet parking (we didn't mind paying for it, we just didn't like that they just get to sit in your car with us not having a say in the matter). The food:- Jjamppong (9/10): This spicy seafood noodle bowl was enjoyable! The broth had a perfect blend of spice with a little hint of salt! The pork meat was easy to chew and it was seasoned perfectly. The squid was also delicious. However the noodles were a little bit on the soft side. Nevertheless, the portion was generous.- Chili Jajangmyeon (7/10): This was nothing to get excited about. I have tasted something similar to this in many other restaurants. However, I did enjoy the meat on this dish.- Hong Kong Wings (10/10): This was my favorite dish of the day . The portion was generous, the chicken was fried to perfection and the meat was juicy. I enjoyed every bite of it. It kind of reminds me of Kyochon but this was more satisfying because you could taste the sauce even on the meat itself. Totally recommended. Overall, it was a good experience eating here and we enjoyed the food, but the mandatory valet parking was a little bit annoying to say the least .

This place definitely hits the spot when you're craving noodles-- specially a good jajangmyeon (that's not instant ramyeon haha). The sauce and noodles are so good. Don't sleep on their wings either, it's a great companion to the noodles! There is a parking lot at this center, but I always park across the street because it's easier and a pretty cheap parking option in the area.

Been eyeing to try this place since we used to live in Ktown a few years ago, and we finally visited Dec 2024. This shopping plaza parking lot is always crowded because it has some of the best heavy hitter restaurants in Ktown (good luck if you try to park here or I recommend parking slightly further and walking over), but the restaurant was quite empty when we went on a weekday evening (only two other tables had people). They have tablets at each table to order your food. They were playing Culinary Class Wars on the TV because Paik Jong Won was a judge on the show, and it felt kind of exciting to eat at one of his restaurants. It took a good 15 minutes for the food to come out, and it was fresh and piping hot. The sweet and sour pork (tangsuyuk) had a unique batter that was simultaneously spongy and crispy in texture, but I didn't like the sauce very much because it just tasted like straight up sugar syrup and was very sweet. The stir-fried jajangmyeon though was AMAZING--there was a good amount of seafood and pork, and you could really taste the smoky wok hei aroma. It had an addicting deep savory umami flavor and wasn't overly sweet. I honestly haven't found a regular Korean jajangmyeon at a restaurant that I like yet because I always feel like it's missing something (taste-wise and ingredients-wise, I prefer just making it at home so I can actually taste the meat and veggies), but this stir-fried one really hit all those elements. My husband said he could have probably eaten the whole platter by himself because it was that good. We will definitely be back to get the stir-fried jajangmyeon again (and maybe try some other dishes too)!

ORDERjajangmyeon (4/5)sweet & sour pork (3.5/5)the jajangmyeon was delicious and very well priced. this is my favorite place to get jajangmyeon, however, the paik's noodle in buena park tastes better. we got the sweet and sour pork with sauce on the side. the pork was fried in a mochi-like batter, which is very unique. the sauce has a very light flavor. both paired perfectly with each other! SERVICEthe food came out quickly! you order on a tablet and there is a button to call for service. very convenient :)AMBIANCE this restaurant isn't nearly as busy as the other restaurants in the plaza, so there was no wait on a saturday night. it is very spacious!

Paik's Noodle is from Korea's famous Chef Paik, with this location being right across from Chapman Plaza in KTown. Yep, our second spot here in Koreatown for this joint but you'll find locations across Cali, with it originally hailing from Korea. As far as chains go, it's pretty reliable.Open until midnight every night, this is a great spot to not just stop in but get delivery from. It's funny because I go to this little strip a lot for various businesses, but haven't dined inside of Paik's. I have, however, had delivery three times. I can only imagine the food is even more crisp and tasty while hot in person. I do know they have a surprising lot of seating for the size of the space, and the parking lot is tiny, valet and always a cluster. So now the eats! My hunt for the best Chinese Korean is highly satiated at Paik's but alas! I still find minor faults. Their Jjajangmyeon is tasty enough, nice chewy noodles but the black bean sauce is missing...something. The flavor just doesn't hit for me.The Tangsuyuk is one of the better ones in Koreatown for sure. The sweet and sour sauce is perfectly soft in flavor while enriched with light vegetable accompaniments of slivers of carrots, bits of and wood ear mushrooms (the undisputed mushroom champ). Their pork is what notches this dish up for me, their batter has more of a chewy texture to it and it's so yum.Paik's fried dumplings are reliably great, as well, filled with pork and veggies with a crispy deep fried outer shell.ngl i will probably be skipping the jjajangmyeon next time I'm in, but am so down with the tangsuyuk and dumplings. Plus, their prices are pretty great here.

Paik's Noodle is a chain and has multiple locations, we went to the one in Ktown. When you go in, you can seat yourself and there are tablets at every table where you order yourself. The service is fast and your food comes out very quickly. We got the black bean noodles and tangsuyuk. The noodles itself were very chewy, had a nice umami and savoriness flavor to the sauce and the pork was nice and tender. Although, the portions were a bit small, if you are eating with someone else I recommend getting another bowl to share if you are hungry. We also got the tangsuyuk. The batter was nice and crispy, the pork was moist, and it went well with the sweet and tangy sauce. I recommend getting the sauce on the side so the batter stays crispy. We also got this stir fried black bean noodles with seafood and vegetables which was amazing! The smokiness of the dish really shines and goes well with the different vegetables and tender seafood. It was more of a dry noodle dish and tasted similar to a Chinese lo mein dish. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a lot from this chain restaurant since the one I go to is just okay. If you are craving Korean Chinese food and want quick service, I would recommend this place in Ktown!

I decided to check this place out mostly because of Culinary Class Wars. After trying the jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork, I now understand why Paik is such a successful restaurateur. As someone who doesn't usually like jajangmyeon as much, this place hit the spot. The flavor wasn't too salty compared to other places and the noodles were perfectly chewy. It's a bit hard to find parking in the area, similar to other ktown restaurants. The ambiance is old school with a lot of 2nd/3rd gen kpop playing, which was definitely my favorite part. Love this place and would definitely come back again!

Food was awesome, generous portions and worth the money I would say.Service was very quick, we ordered on the tablet and they brought it to our table in no time.Came at dinner time and there were a bunch of people at other tables casually chatting, it was nothing too loud.I'll definitely come back to this place, it's quick and their systems are easy to use. ( btw their toilets are also amazing and fully equipped )
