I had heard good things from a few parties, along with seeing it on a "hot" list, but I was presently surprised to have what I would consider a perfect food experience.Every dish was beyond delicious, with multiple notes so well balanced and subtle. The flavors so good I scrounged for morsels I missed from each plate. And to top it off, the prices are quite reasonable given the ingredients and care taken. I'll certainly be back.

The spicy noodles were awesome. The everything bagel sushi was really cool. They didn't have the ramen matzah ball soup when we went which was sad, but we will be back. The best dish of the night was the Hainanese style chicken and rice. Insanely crispy skin. Awesome sauce flavor. One of the best dishes I've ever eaten

A small, intimate space with a really cool ambience that's hip and classy without trying too hard. (You know that type I'm talking about!) Oy Bar's dark, sexy ambience was really fun for a date night and the music was just the perfect volume for the space-- lively but not overpowering. The small space is well-served by an attentive wait staff and bartender. The cocktails were excellent: I stayed with a martini and they got it just right. The menu offerings are really interesting, a lovely mix of mostly smaller sharing plates and a small but well-chosen menu of main dishes. Most striking was the everything-bagel inspired salmon onigiri and pickle bento box. I remember this space's long-standing past iteration and Oy Bar is a great elevation of a Studio City classic that still manages to retain its charm. If you miss the classic Oyster House sign, look for it on the inside now.

Checked this place out right before the new year. I was entertained that they mentioned to get in our food orders because the food could take a while.. which I understood since it's more of a bar than a restaurant. My friend and I finally put in our order and I swear it came out in like 20min LOL. No complaints here, we were both surprised haha. It's pretty dark inside but intimate in a way I'd say could be great for a date but also fun with friends! The food and drinks are really good so make sure to come and check it out! It gets really packed so get there early!

Absolutely loved it! Came here on a weeknight. It's very unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you walk in, OyBar has a cool vibe. We luckily came on the earlier side so didn't have to wait, but by the time we left there was a line to get seated. It looks like they routinely change the menu, featuring various fusion dishes. We loved everything we ordered and the cocktails were different and refreshing as well. There's limited parking in the back lot and street parking otherwise. Overall, would definitely recommend and am looking forward to coming back!

Really love this place. Great cocktails and food. Might be a wait. Always packed. The bartender made a green goddess for me which wasn't in the menu. So amazing!

I absolutely love OY BAR!!!! Okay what an amazing place!! This spot rocks!! I also love that I got to come here in Chanukah. This spot is a Jewish / pub vibe / speak easy / dive bar?? It's so cool because it's so hard to truly describe exactly what it is. They have a full bar with signature cocktails & also plenty of amazing Japanese and Jewish fusion inspired meals. The cutest speak easy / perfect low lighting vibes with kind staff members and servers that have all the recommendations ready to go! I am obsessed with the smoked salmon bites and the the pickle tray. Everything on this menu is the best thing ever. I tried almost everything and I can't wait to come back and try it again. We had the most delicious dirty martinis & then a few bourbons. The music is a good balance and even when this place is packed, it's still a good vibe. Street parking is not too tough and it's great to have an awesome bar in the valley that serves good and unique food! I can't wait to go back to Oy bar!!

Would I go back? Maybe this place was decent for bar bites. I wouldn't recommend it for a place to actually go and have dinner. I went in May to celebrate my birthday, as I was told about this place and the appeal to go here was that they would have their version of a choco taco. I was disappointed to see that this was no longer on the menu... Anyways my friend and I ordered the follow to share: garlic greens with chicken added, bento pickle box, curry gnocchi, and a cheese cakeFood was good it wasnt greatNot a lot of chicken came with the garlic greens which was disappointing since it was an add on, gnocchi wasnt as splittable as the bar tender told us, pickle box was decent Cheese cake was by far my favorite. The lemon zest on top was a nice touch

So pleasantly surprised by this unassuming joint. This place isn't the place to go if you want to be seated right away / are in a time crunch. Would say this spot is a whole experience you just have to savor. We went on a Saturday at 7pm and had to wait almost an hour for a party of 2 (which we didn't mind). We weren't in a rush so we grabbed a drink in the outdoor bar area and then were seated at the indoor bar area for dinner. Food and drinks were great - especially for a bar imo. Artichokes , spicy noodles , quesadilla , skewers . But what was the cherry on top was the attentive service of our bartender - Arash. He was attentive, friendly, honest and made some delish drinks (I got the petty lover which was unique & tasty). Definitely found my new local spot where I can have good drinks AND tasty bites.

Great service, there is a back waiting bar! My goto order is the Oy burger and Spicy noodz with shrimp!
