I've never been a big sandwich person, so even though I had Oui Melrose bookmarked, I never made it a priority... BIG MISTAKE!!FLAVOR (4.7/5):1. BACON & CHIVE KHACHAPURI: It was my first time having khachapuri and it was delicious! The cheese and thick bacon were the perfect pairing, with the egg yolk adding an extra layer of creaminess. It also comes with spicy peppers!2. TRUFFLE RIBEYE CHEESESTEAK: The cheesesteak was delicious. I think eating it with the peppers that come with the khachapuri is a must - the acidity and spiciness add a kick that cuts through the heaviness of the sandwich. 3. SNICKERDOODLE: The snickerdoodle was such a welcome surprise! I love soft cookies, and this was the softest one I've ever had (and not too sweet!). I came to Oui Melrose for the sandwiches and the khachapuri, but honestly the snickerdoodle was the highlight of the meal... I should have gotten 5. SERVICE (5/5):The service was great! We asked for recommendations and they were all spot-on. AMBIENCE (-/5):Casual - order at the counter and sit wherever you want! PARKING (2/5):Street parking only. I went during the day on a weekday, so there was parking right in front. TAKEAWAYS:It's been days and I'm still thinking about the khachapuri and snickerdoodle. I'm definitely coming back and trying more of their menu - the Nashville hot cod and chicken parm caught my eye. I'm also trying all of their cookies next time AND getting extra.

Oui Melrose has unique options loaded with flavor. I ordered the philly cheesesteak, chicken parm bolognese, and a chocolate chunk cookie. The sandwiches are a very nice size. The parm has a great taste but is a bit dry. I'd get extra sauce next time. The cheesesteak was more mushrooms and spicy peppers than meat. The cookie was a solid choice. There's something about this place that I really enjoy. I don't know if it's the service or maybe the freshness of the food that won me over but definitely a good spot.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time back when they had banh mi, and when I heard they had khachapuri but never made it until now. I wanted to get something smaller but the reviews and photos of the fried cod sandwich were too tempting.My sandwich took a really long time - about 20 minutes. The fish was really well fried and fresh but surprisingly low salt. I ordered Nashville hot style and either they gave me the regular or (as the employee said) they didn't dip it in the sauce enough to coat it with the spices. He was really nice though and gave me the sauce on the side which was very good with the fish. He even offered me a free cookie for the long wait. I think he was appreciative that I didn't hound him about the wait cause one guy (probably a delivery driver) wouldn't stop asking about his pickup. The cookie was delicious.They have so many random concepts but it seems like they're all good. I would definitely come back to try the khachapuri.

I wanted this place to be my 800th review but I went past it so say hello to my 802th review! This was my first spot on my birthday food run and it was by far my favorite. I love everything here. We ordered a couple of items to share. We started with the ribeye cheesesteak. The ribeye came out hot, gooey, and yummy. It was so good. We also got the Tony khachapuri. We picked the one with bacon and chive. This was made really well. The bread was nice and toasty. The bread was made perfectly to soak up all the melting cheese and yummy yolk. I wanted to eat it all myself. I can't tell which one I loved more. Both dishes, I would come back for. Next, we got some chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookie. Great sweets! The service was awesome. Parking can be a bit hard but we were able to score meter parking. Overall, check out this place if you are looking for some delicious sandwiches. I can't wait to try them all.

And those cookies are awesome!Ordered via Postmates for 1 simple reason:The Chicken Parmesan sandwich pic on Yelp looks like a edible work of art.So I ordered one of those, and two of the chocolate fudge chunky salted cookie.The chicken parm sandwich was tasty, but DID Not look like the photos. It was super sloppy/messy, and half of the breading was soggy/wet. Almost tasted like an italian beef dip, but instead of beef, you have chicken parm marinated with just a dash of pesto sauce. The basil leaf garnish was buried beneath instead of fastened on top. This made the presentation hard to match those picturesque yelp pics.Now the pesto strip in tandem is interesting. Normally, it's either marinara or pesto base. Combining the two is strange. But it's a very, very small amount of pesto strip at the bottom of the breading. And it worked as it didn't overwhelm the marinated chicken parm.Over 16 dollars for this baby, I expect not soggy bread -- even if part of it was unscathed.The chocolate chunk cookies are super strong -- A billion times better than Crumbl. It's big, and the chocolate glaze in the middle gives it a nice touch. Also I"m a fan of the sprinkle of salt in the middle. Gives it a nice salty sweet combo that more bakers need to use.3/5

I'm a sucker for a good sandwich so when I was browsing takeout options near the house I was staying at, Oui was an easy choice. It wasn't too busy on a Friday evening and I quickly placed my order - garlic chicken sandwich, regular fries, and their sugar cookie. Sandwich - tasty. I wished the fillings were packaged a bit better since they were prone to slipping out with each bite, but it was delicious. I was worried it would be HUGE but it was perfectly sized in my opinion. Fries - delicious. They didn't need salt or ketchup which is high praise for my fry consumption. Cookie - as someone who loves a soft baked cookie, these were a little too soft for me. Service was great, there are a few tables and stools for seating, and they have a lot of other items on their menu I'd be interested in trying.

We had the evening planned with several restaurants as a celebratory food run for a friend and Oui Melrose was our very first stop. I low-key regret this was the first on our list that night as it was the BEST, so every other restaurant after just could not compare.Because we had more food coming, we didn't order too many dishes. Between the 4 of us, we ordered the Ribeye Cheesesteak sandwich, Bacon Cheese Khachapuri and a couple of cookies to split. I am kicking myself for not trying out any of their other sandwiches or khachapuri's. The ribeye cheesesteak was absolutely amazing. It was pouring with melted cheese and chopped ribeye, bread soaked in jus, everything just melted in your mouth. The bacon cheese khachapuri was perfectly baked with the most delectable melted cheese, bread perfectly soft and all the flavors complementing each other perfectly. We also got to try their peanut butter and brownie chocolate chip cookies. They were so delicious I had to purchase extras to bring home. Overall, loved everything and will absolutely be back!

I'd heard about Oui Melrose for quite sometime by a fellow foodie. I decided to finally pull the trigger when I was nearby searching for a lunch venue. I saw it was a few minutes by car and so I headed over. Went inside their little store that was clean and well maintained, began salivating as the scent of all the foods was filled in the store. It was a tough decision to order as multiple items looked good. I wanted the Krusty Krab burger but it was gone. I settled for this one. The khachapuri cheesesteak. It has mushroom in it, (not listed on ingredient list). It was breathtaking by appearance and taste. Service was great too! I pulled apart the cheese seasoned bread, dipped and added steak to each bite and shortly thereafter, it was gone! Will definitely be back to try more flavors.

One of my favorite sandwich shops buuuut recently they have been skimping on the fillings. Not too bad but definitely noticeable. The sandwichs are usually loaded with delicious meats and cheeses. The bread is a great ratio of softness on the inside and crispy on the outside! My favorite is the garlic chicken sandwich and I get their picked cabbage to add it on the inside. Their smoked Turkey, and chicken parmigiana sandwichs are also good. If you're going to get their fries ask for light salt (seasoning salt).The thousand island they make in house is very good, the Dijon comes through. If you like almost raw center cookies grab a couple on the way out:) The chocolate chip needs more chocolate but the batter is very good. Service is good, parking can be annoying just depends on the day. They do have seating but it is small inside.

5 stars all around, well worth the trip! I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet but was glad I tried their maple glazed donut and vanilla sprinkle donut. Both were tasty and not too sweet.We tried a bunch of sandwiches, all were delicious but here are our faves from best to still great: 1) lamb and beef gyro laffa 2) ribeye cheesesteak 3) Nashville hot cod sandwich 4) garlic chicken baked baguette 5) fried cod sandwich. We would love to go back and try the others, especially the khachapuri!Service was prompt and helpful. They made great recommendations and know how to handle large crowds in their tiny shop. Hoping they can expand their seating area as our party of 6 took up most of the space. This is more of a spot you would take to go.
