One word: salty This restaurant ambience is so lovely and I truly wish i can come back, but the food and price is just not my preference. I came on a weekend dinner and the wait was over 45 minutes without reservations. We got seated out in the front, they had ceiling heater so it basically felt like indoor. The server was fast, and just the right amount of attentiveness. Now, the food. This is all up to preference, so, don't take my words too heavily. The food is just off, the pricing is way too expensive for what you're getting. Food 2/5Dishes: HOME MADE BREAD & EVO : they offered like it was free, but it was not. It's ok though, not that expensive, but still. The bread is good to sandwich for the next few dish cause what the heck did I just eat!!!! 3.5/5 OSTE PINSA: the best outta all the dishes. They're definitely better at their pizza dishes, but I'm not a pizza person so I can't testify that. I only took half a bite but the pizza was well seasoned. Was not too heavy tasting. 4/5 CACIO E PEPE: the spaghetti could be more al denti, but I don't think that would've saved the dish. I know it's the herb that would make this dish expensive, but I also barely tasted herbs because the salt hit me in the face like an ocean wave. I mean! Look at that sad portion... $21 for noodles and cream is crazy work. 2.5/5RISOTTO AI FUNGHI: oh! You thought the Pepe was salty??? No! this was the saltiest of all. I was gripping the table with my left hand and the tap water with my right hand by the end of this dish cause it was so salty. It could send me straight to the grave by how salty it was. This risotto was not good, the grain used is too in a solid form? I'm not too familiar with Italian games in risotto, but the risotto I eat is close to porridge? The only plus on this dish is the amount of mushroom. Otherwise please do yourself a favor and PASS on this dish 1/5 PAPPARDELLE ALLA VACCINARA (?, I forgot the name): I only had a small bite on this so I can't comment much, but my friend said this dish was too salty. We all togoed our dishes because it was too salty....I'll give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps it's just a taste preference thing cause like they must have a high rating for a reason!

Finally i get to try this restaurant! Hard to secure a reservation. Best Italian restaurant in town. Everything tastes yummy! I mean everything- i savor every bite. We ordered a bread basket, one burrata, one salad, two pastas, one pizza, one entree, two desserts for our party of four. We only have some leftover, not a lot. Service is friendly and attentive- even during busy peak hours. They have indoor seating and also patio. Indoor is brighter and patio has a more romantic setting. I like both. Parking- i just opt for valet. An easier option for me.

I've had many recommendations to try OSTE and I was finally able to go to celebrate a friend 's birthday. We ordered the wagyu tartare($17), OSTE mussels with garlic, white wine, basil, marinara sauce ($25). Fries with aioli($8). Prosciutto pizza ($27) with mozzarella, prosciutto san daniele, stracciatella, arugula, truffle oil. And the cacio e Pepe with rigatoni, pecorino romano, and black pepper.I would give the wagyu tartare a 3.8/5. I thought the raw onion mixed into the tartare was overpowering and really overwhelmed the flavor of the tartare. I would rate the prosciutto pinsa a 4/5. I loved the crust and the creamy mozzarella. My only complaint was that the truffle oil so heavily drizzled on the pizza which I'm not mad about but it took away from the taste of the crush and the prosciutto and all you would get is a mouthful of truffle oil and pizza crust.I would also give the Cacio e Pepe a 4/5. It tasted mostly like cheese but I loved the perfectly al dente pasta. The mussels and fries were 5/5 truly the start of the show! The mussels were fresh and perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce that I was soaking up with the pizza crust and fries. If anything I would come back just for the mussels. I loved the ambiance of the place and our servers and hosts were excellent and attentive

Food (4/5)MARGHERITA 5/5: Keep in mind that this is ROMAN style pizza. I loved the fresh vibrant tomato sauce that's not overly sweet. The based is baked perfectly and super crisp without ripping the top of my mouth. Muscle Marcello 5/5: I loved the sauce with the muscles. You can choose between a few different variation, but we went for the marcello because the combination of cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic, olives, shallots, and pepper is simply a classic. The olive, however, is super salty when eating it whole though, so beware. But you can just ignore it since it already did its job with the sauce. The menu recommends getting a side of fries to pair with this dish, but honestly I felt the $3 appetizer bread compliments it better. Bread was perfectly baked also (which is no surprise since their pizza is great) (3/5) Pappardelle Alla Vaccinara: To be honest, this was probably the only minor disappointment of the night. Pasta itself was cooked perfectly but I just felt like the sauce was boring. Just a preference, since there were no actual flaws in dish. Braised oxtail was nice and tender, pasta coated evenly etc etc. For dessert, we had pistachio gelato and the OSTE tiramisu. I felt the tiramisu is just alright, nothing too special but really enjoyed the gelato. Perfect texture and great flavors. ==============================================Service 5/5: Staff checked in on us often. Always refilled my water (I always chug water with italian restaurants in the US). They gave great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Decore 5/5: Theres an indoor/outdoor area. Outdoor is just a regular seating area surrounded by plastic covers to prevent us from freezing during winter, but the inside looks more like an upscale cocktail bar. Would be a great place to visit for a special occasion. Overall I recommend this place. I do want to try a different pasta dish next time because I'm sure there are some that matches my palette more. This place is also not stupidly expensive. Very bang for your buck!P.S Valet parking is $14 so maybe best to try to find free parking on the streets

We went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was easy to find parking and easy to get a table.Service was great, the owner stopped by our table a few times to check on us too.I am usually gluten free and was pleased to hear they import their flour from Italy. That gluten does not impact me as much and was able to eat everything on the menu.We started with the burrata with beets. The pistachio and mint paired so well with it.The battuta di manzo (wagyu tartare) was great. The highlight was the pinsa. We got the Viva l'italia and added prosciuto and black truffle on it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it now. It was very tasty and not heavy at all.I will definitely be back to try more things from the menu.

Came here for a bday Saturday night at 7pm. Packed place make a reservation, they sat us immediately and by 8pm people were standing in line outside. Valet parking or be prepared to search for residentialYellowtail is probably the best I've ever had , so fresh i wish it wasn't only an appetizer Radish salad with Gorgonzola cheese/goat cheese (Gorgonzola super strong and bitter) outside of that it was great, so it didn't hurt it at allFruttidenare noodles are .Fungi pizza is all mushrooms so very interesting to me but my friends love itOverwhelming amount of Nutella in a good way Just can't say anything bad about it, crust is perfect and fluffy and a mix of ice cream. It's been a while since I've been here but dang I gotta come more often!!!First of all special shoutout to Chad. Sincerely, just a phenomenal human who went super out of his way to make sure we had a great food experience. And he handled every table that way which was impressive. Will specifically ask for one of his tables whenever I go back.We started off the night with their meatballs. Very flavorful! When I think about the entrees I have an existential crisis on what was my favorite. The calabrese pizza was spicy and perfect. Very yummy! And the cacio e Pepe was truly to die for. Again, both were superstars of the night. We ended up getting the tiramisu to end the night which Chad recommended and I'm really glad we did! I've had tiramisu at plenty of places but this felt perfectly light and fluffy and refreshing. Def get it!They have indoor seating and an outdoor patio (with heaters!). We sat outside. I recommend getting a reservation as it can get busy. We did ours on Resy.Parking can be a pain, not gonna lie. Give yourself 10 minutes for that. We ended up down the street but it only took us a few minutes to figure that out.All in all this place always knocks it out of the park!

Such an amazing restaurant. The food was just simply delicious. Service was super kind, welcoming, and personable. For a party of four we got the baby gem lettuce caesar, pan seared blue prawns, carbonara (pinsa), frutti di mare, pappardelle alla vaccinara, and truffle fries with truffle aioli. Everything was simply exceptional, I think the salad is the best caesar salad I've ever had. I personally prefer the Pappardelle over the frutti di mare, because the oxtail was perfectly fatty and flavorful. Carbonara pinsa is literally perfect with the egg and crispy bacon D: This is the perfect restaurant for any occasion--birthday, date night, casual lunch. The possibilities are endless. They have valet, or there's street parking around the area. Be sure to read the parking signs, they are so confusing.
