Celebrated my birthday here and Darren was extremely helpful getting the space reserved. If you do their birthday package, there are custom cocktail options per whose birthday it is! Already liked OR Bar as a spot to go for a drink with friends but LOVED celebrating my birthday here-- the staff (Evan) was amazing and made sure I had a great birthday, drink orders were always being taken, and the hospitality... immaculate.If you're looking to celebrate your birthday or just go for a quick drink with friends you'll love this bar and the ambiance! Can't thank them enough for making my birthday so memorable.

Cute ambiance, sweet drinks that are a little light on alcohol, and an extremely rude waiter that makes this a 1-star review. We came around 9pm on a weekend, the place was pleasantly popping but not too crowded. When we walked in we were seated at the bar. We ordered 4 drinks total in 2 rounds. On our second round of drinks, the bald waiter in drag makeup kept glaring at us and felt like loathing embodied. My partner had their jacket a little on the bar, which may be a huge faux pas and if so that's on us. Imo the jacket was contained to our space but this waiter kept pushing the jacket toward us. Taking the hint, I apologized and grabbed the jacket and put it on my lap. This man proceeds to glare at us every time he passes or is at the bar to pick up drinks. We finished our drinks quickly, paid, and then my partner went to use the restroom really quick. The bald waiter returns and asks with straight up venom in his voice lol if my partner is returning or did he leave. I tell the waiter he's in the bathroom and will be back. Mind you my partner is in the bathroom maybe 4 mins max. This waiter comes up to me two more times and asks if my partner left and if I was sure he was coming back. I tell the waiter again yes he's coming back, we already paid and will be leaving soon. The waiter comes back again and tells me he has people that want to sit at the bar. I stand up and go "oh no problem! I can stand to the side or wait outside for my boyfriend." He tells me no no to sit, but he's clearly irritated. He comes back again to tell me he wants our seats for people. Ok cool, I grab my stuff and stand up. Nope, he tells me to sit with a glare and a side of malice. My boyfriend returns at this moment and we promptly leave. I thought maybe the rudeness was all in my head. But my partner's first remarks outside were about how that waiter was bad vibes all night. I honestly felt targeted. This man made a point to make us feel unwelcome. I'd like to think we're respectful, chill customers but if there were any issues they could have been communicated to us. Haven't experienced this treatment elsewhere in WeHo.

This is a coffee shop slash bar, so they serve stuff that will wake you up and put you back to sleep. I finally checked it out when I drove by and someone was having a campaign race thing going on yesterday. So I just crashed. Yup guys sorry I didn't sign up y'all know it. I had leggings on and no dresswear. The free Calabrese panini was good tho. And since they found my handbag I forgot I got coffee too. OR has the old punch cards from decades ago so I appreciate that throwback. The interior as you can see is pretty classically upscale with chandeliers. Idk it I'll come back though, I was noticeably, how do I say...not a gay man in WeHo, and also obviously not going to drink, so I just watched everyone mingle. I wasn't expecting to be waited on for coffee but I have no one here to meet demographics wise, sorry. I did talk to some people to not look super out of place but mostly worked on my dog activities on my phone then left.Don't appreciate they don't take cash. Cash is king. Not all money should exist in the stratosphere where it can be manipulated by those up top. Another argument for another time. But that does affect my returning here.

UNASSUMING ON THE OUTSIDE, STUNNING ON THE INSIDEPROS--------Ambiance: The decor, the vibes, the opulence, the glamour...immaculate. Such a cool space to go grab a bite and drink with some friends to talk and catch up. We came on a Thursday evening with no problem finding a spot to sit at. Drinks: All the drinks were delicious, from the cocktails to the mocktails, nothing was a let down. Music: I may be old, but it was so refreshing to be at a bar with good at a reasonable volume so we could talk. And the disco tunes from across the decades were amazingCONS-------Nothing!

My DJ friend was playing OR bar few weeksback. I'd never heard of place, but whenI was walking on Santa Monica Blvd, I seeCircus of Books ! Wait, this spot used tobe the 'been there forever ' Gold Coast barThe inside is totally gorgeous. The ChandelierIs the main draw to the eye.....the loungeon the east side is beautiful, right downto the Nagel painting. They serve fancylattes, cafe. At this time, they do not servefood ?

What started as a bathroom break became a fun pitstop for a cocktail. The OR bar is a stylish upscale feel with a casual vibe. I love the branding and the sense you come as you are. The music was great and the seating is made for small groups of two that can easily expand. The seasonal drink menu was refreshing and for the summer seasons vibe. The bartender wasn't pushy and gave us great suggestions for drinks. They have a theme thats not over the top and it works beautifully from the staffs attire to the curtains and the decorations. Just tasteful! I got the twig and berries and my fiancé got the Yass queen! Both really refreshing.

Great bar to visit where you can grab a cocktail during the day and enjoy the nice weather. The bar is so cute and the bartenders were all so awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to destress or just enjoy a low key place.

What a beautiful addition to the WeHo scene! I will always remember the Gold Coast, and it holds a special place in my heart, but this change was a nice one. It's very chic inside, complete with a chandelier and the theme seems to be a modernist black and gold. They make a mean Pornstar martini (my favorite and hard to find!), and Alex is simply the best bartender I've encountered in a long while. His friendly nature and cocktail skills are unparalleled! Whenever I'm in the area, I'll be happy to stop by!

Visited this bar tonight for the first time. While the decor is quite nice and the music is good, I had one serious issue with their reluctance to provide handicap accessible seating. The bar stools are all too tall for a person with limited mobility. We found one bar stool that was lower than the others and were delighted to be able to sit together with friends. About 10 minutes into our visit, a very rude employee came up to me and demanded that I give him the stool I was using. I explained to him that every other stool in the bar was too tall for me and that, because I am handicapped and have mobility issues (showed him my cane) , that it was not possible for me to use another stool. He insisted on taking the stool away and left me without a seat and offered no explanation or alternative way to sit. So, unless your fully able bodied, go elsewhere .The other issue is that the drinks are way overpriced. I'm willing to pay a bit more for a quality drink IF I get good service, but, this was not what I experienced. There are many other places in the neighborhood where you can get much better accommodations if you need them at a reasonable cost.

The drinks are overpriced and the customer service was poor! I miss the old Gold Coast
