Openaire is a gorgeous spot with a greenhouse-style setting that makes for a unique and relaxing dining experience. The natural light, lush greenery, and open space create a great ambiance, perfect for brunch or a special night out.The food is solid, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The menu isn't huge, but what they offer is well-executed. The pastries are a highlight, and the seafood dishes are especially good. Cocktails are creative and refreshing, though a bit pricey.Service is friendly but can be a little slow, especially during busy hours. Overall, Openaire is a great spot if you're looking for a beautiful setting with good food--just don't expect a life-changing meal. Worth a visit for the ambiance alone!

Beautifully decorated restaurant with amazing drinks! O sat at the bar wile waiting on my girlfriends to show up. Special shout out to the bartenders that were exceptionally nice and attentive. I got the heart of gold and the midnight margarita, both delicious! We then got seated and ordered out brunch. We had the ahi tuna tartar, hibachi grilled flat iron steak and eggs, and blackened shrimp and grits(don't judge we shared it and we were hungry :)! I loved the iron steak! It was flavored so well and cooked to perfection. The tartar was missing a little somethin but the sweet potato chips was on point! For desert we ordered the cinnamon roll. Although the portion size is generous the taste was nothing special. The service was friendly.

We had planned to come out here for brunch for quite a while and we decided to park valet. I hate to valet, but didn't want to street park because there were so many cars driving by, so it was fine. You go through the glass doors of the Line Hotel, then right up the elevator to 2nd floor. Easy!!. We got seated right away at the side booth, we switched to the end of the booth, near the back door towards the pool. I ordered the portobello banh mi sandwich with sweet potato fries and my friend had the spring bowl because she's vegan Both were delicious and fresh!! We enjoyed the meal with sparkling water and I added an oj. Service was great with Marcos and he brought us more sparkling water which was nice. Thanks Openaire team for making great brunch and for your great service today. I highly recommend this place. It's relaxing and it's a beautiful place to brunch!!

Openaire is a restaurant that is on the 2nd floor of the LINE hotel in Wilshire. Came here to celebrate a special occasion with friends (party of 5). I had good company and overall the place itself was set up nicely. Openaire concept is both an outdoor / indoor restaurant with glass ceilings. The service was great and the food was okay, but quite expensive for what you are getting. The downside about open air concept is that the food will adjust to the temperature of the environment a lot faster. In my case, the hot foods all got cold really quickly because it was in December. The kimchi fried rice was pretty good even though it was just a little bit. Parking is plenty around here, street park or park in a garage nearby.

I think for the service, price, and ambiance this place is worth going to once in a while for celebrations or girls brunches. The food isn't a mind blowing culinary experience but it is indeed tasty and it's just a very cute and cozy place to hang out to grab a bite. The service was impeccable and the price point is average for brunch spots in LA.If I'm visiting from out of town I'd visit this place at least once just for the atmosphere and decent food!

Food 5/5Service 5/5Ambiance 5/5Came back with hubby during the Thanksgiving holidays and enjoyed our staycation at the Line hotel. Our stay included meal credit at Openaire so I got to come back and enjoy great food and beautiful vibes. Something about air plants makes me feel happy and relaxed. Hubby ordered huevos rancheros 5/5 and I ordered the crab benedict 5/5. I swapped my english muffin for sourdough toast and waitress was very accommodating. Glad it was real crab! Very delish. The chef came to say hello which was very kind of him. It was the holidays so the restaurant was pretty empty but it was amazing for us bc we got to enjoy quietness & peace during our meal. Highly recommend!

The epitome of a beautiful brunch space on the second floor of the LINE hotel... However... we had put in a request to sit in the greenhouse with our reservation, and someone in our party called a couple of days before to confirm. When we arrived, we ended up waiting over 50 minutes past our reservation time, and the attitude of the lady at the hostess stand was horrible--impatient and short, speaking to us as if it were our fault. They did comp a cinnamonroll for the situation, but it would've been ideal to not have had this experience in the first place. The food is pretty standard brunch fare. The eggs benedict hollandaise sauce was quite sour which I wasn't a huge fan of. You can bring in coffee from Alfred Coffee on the first floor, which is a perk. For the price point, am unsure that I would return.

Openaire is cute, but can get crowded. I asked to be indoors on the reservation but upon arrival they only had outdoor; thankfully they had heaters. The food itself is pretty tasty but not as good as I expected. The Benedicts were goods, the shrimp and grits was okay, the french toast was pretty bad (not sure if its because it was so cold out but the dish came out cold and stale; the corn flakes seemed old/no "crunch" factor). The best dish was the tartar. They have valet parking that can be validated at the restaurant. Staff was also 50/50; some were nice, some not and things took a long time to come (to go boxes, drinks, extra napkins, etc).

This is a beautiful restaurant on the hotel rooftop. We were guests of the hotel and wondered up to Openaire for a quick brunch. We were quickly sat at the bar even on a busy Saturday. The bartenders were attended and the food was excellent. Highly recommend stopping in even if you are not staying at this hotel.

We came here as a party of 3 for their Thanksgiving pre fixe. It was basically the only place open. We had high expectations because the menu was pricey, $95 per person. The service and food were not good enough to justify the price. We each got the fall salad and butternut squash tempura for appetizers, which were just meh. The squash could have been baked more. The main courses were the best. We shared the prime rib, salmon, and turkey with gravy. The turkey was phenomenal, definitely the best item I tried. The Thanksgiving sides were also good. But dessert was also meh. The pumpkin pie tasted store bought but the apple pie was ok. The weirdest thing was the service. The staff barely paid attention. We noticed everyone else was getting bread rolls throughout the night but us. We asked about it several times. They were really weird about it, and said they had to ask the chef if we could have more bread. $95 per person and they're being stingy about the bread that's supposed to be included anyway? The cherry on top was tip wasn't included in the final total, even though it was pre fixe which is standard. So we each spent $162 for the most mediocre food and service.
