Big fan. Some of the best seasoned chicken breast I've had maybe ever at a Mediterranean place. Loved the zataar labne, falafel, cheese boreg also. Their house made pita is fantastic. Great service, super cute place, and even good live music on a Sunday (and usually I think music is annoying while I'm trying to talk to people).Suggested Improvements: $6 for an iced tea is unnecessary. Still not sure why we were brought two bottles of water to pay for when we just wanted tap water. The pita that comes with the dishes is store bought and should be house made. Chicken breast kebab is nearly $30 for a single skewer with five small pieces and a ton of rice.

This is an outdoor restaurant with a roof cover so please dress accordingly! They do have space heaters but I always need an extra jacket even with those. They offer hookah that I didn't spot on the menu so if you have sensitive lungs be aware as other tables near you can be smoking. Parking can be done via paid metered parking on Ventura OR if you come after 5 pm or on a holiday or a Sunday in the nearby Wells Fargo parking lot. Our waitress was kind and lovely and told us on weekends from 8:30-10 they have belly dancers perform! but recommended making a reservation during these times to guarantee seating. The portions are large (we took 1/2 home each) and fresh. I will absolutely be returning and likely during said belly dancing performances. LA sunset - 4/5, I loved the combo of vodka : cucumber : mint though it was not a strong drinkRas Kebbel (Ishli Kofta) 5/5, well seasoned tasty beef stuffed inside that pairs beautifully with lemon juice drizzled on top but the shell is a little hard and thereby challenging to bite through Combo beef and chicken lulas 4.5/5This comes with a mildly spicy sauce as well as a garlic sauce. The spice especially paired well with the chicken Lula. The rice was seasoned and this plate comes with a baked tomato. Chicken shawarma 5/5, my mom got this, noted it comes with pickled radishes, onions, and pickles. The shawarma was well seasoned and soft and melted in your mouth. The paired rice was well cooked and seasoned well.

I usually don't write reviews unless I'm thoroughly impressed, but Olive and Grill is a true hidden gem that deserves recognition! We were probably lucky, since we booked for a Noon reservation to celebrate my birthday and hardly anyone was there. We had a party for nine and the server kept up with us and was great. The food took a while to come out but it was overall great, taste was good and drinks were delicious. I would definitely recommend the Beef Lula and support a Yelp comment about this place being a hidden valley gem. Definitely going again but this time I'll try the dinner.

Randomly pick this place just because of the location and where my friends and I normally meet. It was such a pleasant surprise.The ambience is perfect. It was kind of chilly. The heaters were on your kind of outside. There's twinkly lights everywhere. It was great. The food was also fantastic. We shared the sampler with the dips and pita, and then we all really enjoyed our entrées. . I had the beef combo plate and the filet mignon and even the Lula were cooked to perfection. My friends had the vegetable and the chicken Shawarma and they loved it.. We felt compelled to order dessert, even though we don't normally order dessert, the Napoleon suggested by our waiter and we got it delicious. Kavi was our server and he was so terrific. He was patient. He was knowledgeable. He gave us a suggestions and just overall seems like a really kind person. The restaurant managers name is Joey. We let him know his team member and he's pretty great himself.. Highly recommend in general, and definitely a great option for date night or special dinner . Was told they have belly dancers and live on the weekends and reservations are encouraged. I would give this place 10 out of 10 if I could.!

If you arrive after 5pm park next door in the Wells Fargo parking lot. The garage closes at 10:30 on weekdays at least so you will have to move your car. The ambiance is romantic with minimal elegant decor. Our server Elle was warm and very helpful the entire night. I ordered the lamb chops which were good but I would have enjoyed my entree more if it was hotter. We were celebrating my birthday so ended the meal with the French Napoleon. I think it's my new favorite dessert, the texture is perfect. Light and delicious!

my boyfriend suprirised me with dinner here -- at first i was not that excited because most of the mediteranean spots are very MID and always disappoint because i feel like their menus are lazy and lackluster... but the inside was fire, they had a belly dancer come with burning candled on her head it was really cool to watch -- they did have hookah everywhere but the ventillation was so good that it didnt get smelly -- the staff was OK, nothing too special they did the bare minimum -- the food tho was GREAT and very filling. It was better than LAYA -- the new lebanese mediteranean spot that everyone is obsessed with in hollywood. okay so for the food -- we got two appetizers, the Mantee (9.5/10) it was tasty and very unique. then we got the Cheese Boreg -- it was OKAY but i wish it was piping hot inside -- it was weird bc the outside was hot the inside was cold. my chicken kabob was FIRE i highly recommend the combo -- overall WE WILL BE BACK!

If you're looking for a nice restaurant that's open past 10 on a Monday then you found your place at Olive & Grill. If you like/love Mediterranean food then you truly don't need to look any further. We were looking for a place to grab a late meal without sacrificing quality and a great vibe. Luckily they are open until midnight. I was happy with the quality of the food and drinks. The hot appetizers were very good. For the entrees we got the combo beef plate and the beef shawarma. Both were very good. The menu is extensive for Mediterranean food and I was quite impressed with the atmosphere. I can see this place being a hit in the summer time. It was chilly the night we went and we had to change tables to get away from the draft behind us and in front of a closer heater. When we changed seats all was well. Just be mindful of what you're wearing when going to visit during the colder seasons. I will definitely be back.

Front of house was a bit rude. It was freezing cold and raining outside. Because we were the first patrons of the evening, they only wanted one heater on. It's an outdoor space, very cold, and unwelcoming without heat. Who wants to eat dinner with their wet winter coats on? After a bit of back and forth, he turned on an additional heater. Hookah should be separated from general seating. Food was decent. Server was personable and did a great job. Ambiance is nice once it's warm!

Very disappointed as i had at a reservation at 8PMAfter being approached to wait as table was getting ready for us to seat. They gave our table away as an "incident" happened. This is unfair as waiting for over 30 mins as loyal customer to give us unacceptable rude attitude and was unable to fulfill our reservation because they uncoordinatedly sat other customers at our reserved table.
