Ohana BBQ

This place is great. I think about the korean style shortribs often! The portions are huge, the flavors are so good, the quality is great, the cook is perfect, and the staff is friendly, accommodating and fast. Their dining area is cozy and comfortable enough for a small place that mainly does to-go orders. Plating is very nice if you opt for dine-in. I enjoyed the macaroni salad a lot, even tho that usually doesn't appeal to me. Might be the only one I'd ever ask for on purpose! I love that they offer brown rice! They also now make a cold kabocha salad scoop that is so good (think Christmas yams, but fresher tasting)..We will be back here many times! What a sweet place. They just redid the whole plaza they are in, so it looks brand new.

For $22.99 I got a choice of 2 proteins with salad & mix of macaroni/potato scoop that I chose for my side, along with rice. When the food arrived to our table I immediately noticed that the proteins were kinda almost cold. Which I don't understand because I saw the cooks grilling the chicken right up front. I assumed we were going to get some of that. But I was wrong. The protein didn't come out streaming hot. I guess they just cook a lot at the same time and leave it in a container. I did get a hefty amount of white rice for both proteins. I'll admit that, but when it comes to the side (Mac/potato salad?) was misleading as for the pictures on yelp I seen the combo with 1 good scoop of the classic Hawaiian Mac salad. I was thrown off. We got 1 tiny ass scoop of that. So disappointing. Although we did get a good amount of the chicken and beef. It was still in my opinion overall way too overpriced....

Decent place for to go Hawaiian bbq. Ordered to go a few times and have tried most of the meat options and they were all about average. Dark meat chicken: the best meat option of all I have tried. White meat chicken: thin pieces of chicken and kinda dry. Short ribs: basically just bones. Teriyaki beef: scraggly scraps of beef with some gristle. Chicken katsu: they douse it in sauce after it's been fried which makes it soggy by the time you get home. If they did the sauce on the side, this could be salvaged. The best thing on the menu is the macaroni/potato salad. It is so delicious and tastes like what you would have in Hawaii. You get a solid amount of food but it is definitely not cheap. Otherwise it is a clean and chill place for to go food.

Ohana BBQ is one of my go-to spots because they're always consistent in quality. I usually get the Waikiki Special with short rib and chicken! it's flavorful, perfectly cooked, and satisfying. Sometimes I switch it up with their donkasu, which is crispy and tender, but I always order a large side of kimchi. And you can't overlook the macaroni salad. It's a simple balance of savory and sweet with great textures...creamy, light, and just right alongside the rest of the meal. For me, Ohana BBQ sometimes feels like home. It's comforting, delicious, and always hits the spot.

Great food and good service. Prices are a bit high but the portions are large. Highly suggest you try their kimchi!

Visited on early evening Thursday with my friend. I pulled into the parking lot and wasn't sure if I was in the right spot because the restaurant signage isn't great. But, my friend has been before which is the only reason I knew it must be right. It wasn't busy so we immediately ordered and sat down. The staff was friendly, and the food didn't take too long. I ordered the Wiki Wiki Noodles with White Meat Chicken. I spent about $25. I thought it was tasty - the star of the dish was definitely the chicken. Very juicy and flavorful. The noodles were pretty dry so I added some sauce. The portion sizes are pretty big! I had some leftovers at the end. Overall, the food was fine but it didn't impress me. For the price, I didn't think it was very worth it. Might try another dish if I decide to revisit. Parking: Free spacious parking lot!!

I was craving Hawaiian BBQ and had to stop by! I ordered the spicy bbq pork combo! It was really good, but I wouldn't say it was spicy, but very flavorful! The macaroni salad was good. It took maybe 5 minutes for the food to be ready. I definitely want to come back and try the bbq chicken and the spam!!

First time at Ohana and the food was ok. I orederd the Chicken Katsu ang the sauce was salty instead of sweet. Good customer service and parking area is a little tight. The inside is cleaned.

Food was fantastic. Tasted authentic/home made. Took a bit but we came during peak dinner. Dude taking our order was cool. Cleaned off a table for us after we decided to stay. Didn't expect this quality and flavor. Definitely will be back.The place is tiny, my only complaint!

Best Kalbi ever! Meaty and tender! Prices are high but one plate could feed three of us!
