Ô Banh Mi

Friendly service. Simple menu. I'm not a fan of Banh Mi but a friend wanted them so we went there. Parking sucks, but there are some tables inside. It's bright and clean. The sandwich was AMAZING. The bread was crunchy and soft, there was a lot of meat inside. I actually said, "I wish there was more veg." WHO SAYS THAT?! I will be going again.

I will update my review to reflect a review of the food when they UPDATE THEIR HOURS to reflect their ACTUAL HOURS so people don't drive across town to eat when they're CLOSED!! Honestly I gotta stop bothering with this place. Calling to see if they're open doesn't work, they won't always answer even if they are. And I've ordered pick-up online before, had the order go through, only to have to get a refund because they're closed.Might be time to give up on this place, which is sad.

Great Vietnamese food in los feliz with a smallish menu. We've tried 4 items so far and we just keep coming back to try more. So glad we found this gem in our neighborhood.

Love the sardines Banh mi, especially with the consommé! Chef's kiss! French baguette is fresh, and sardines is cooked with the right amount of shallots and garlic, not an overpowering flavor. FYI - sardines are good to keep your skin's barrier healthy. Ur welcome!Service is always helpful and friendly.Ambiance is small and quaint but appreciate the seating area to enjoy a quick bite.

Honestly? It was the most lackluster banh mi of my life, and the most expensive, which is a double edged sword. I'd understand if it was boasting with flavor and amazing ingredients but all i tasted was the baguette really. i love banh mis and love to try every shop at least once but the roasted pork on was so disappointing:( got it with their vietnamese coffee and it was bitter and sour. Paid $24 total for both and left feeling super unsatisfied. 4 stars because i don't want to mess with their rating. service was sweet, the lady was nice.

Pretty good banh mi. They were a bit expensive for the size but the meats/cuts were well seasoned and pickled veggies were nice to balance out the sandwich. Baguettes was more on the crunchy side so it would cut the roof of your mouth but not too bad.

Food: me and my wife ordered the chicken curry and it was good not bad and you get a ton of bread with it so it's nice to eat with the sauce. It is a little spicy to beware. The shredded chicken sandwich was okay also not bad but also super spicy so I ended up taking out most the sliced chili. The sauce it comes with is nice I would suggest to ask for extra because one is not enough... for me at least. The iced Vietnamese coffee was not bad it definitely had a strong coffee taste with a bit of sweetness.Service: it's a quick order and 2 steps walk over to the table. Nice and responsive.Ambiance: this place is super tiny there is only 2 tables inside and seats max 8 people. I would recommend no parties larger than 3 coming here. You will be really crammed so it's nice for a quick meal for lunch.

Pretty decent Bahn Mi Sandwiches here. Its a little small and easy to miss, but you get good service here. I'd say the sandwiches are little more on the expensive side for what you get, but I guess that is sort of the norm in Silverlake.Tip: This place is very easy to miss since it is small. If you have not been there before it is a good idea to have your navigation app like googlemaps on.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. The Banh Mi Dac Biet that I ordered was just okay. The bread was too hard and unpleasant to eat. The flavors of the meats and fillings were good though. But the point of a banh mi is the bread. Banh mi literally MEANS bread in Vietnamese.I also got the Spicy Chicken Curry bowl. I loooooove dipping my baguette into some curry but this was not it. The flavor was rather bland. It needed more saltiness and sweetness. The chicken was super tender though which was a plus. The curry was not spicy at all.I'm not sure if they're catering to an American palate, but I do hope they improve their dishes!

Good but I just can't believe that I paid $32.85 for 2 banh mi recommend for those who believe that price is just a number, this is the indulgence you didn't know you needed
