Fried pickles are must-try, double fried and so crispy, so good. Chicken nuggets were also delicious, though the breading was falling off some pieces. One cauliflower nug snuck into our box and that tasted awesome as well. Fries were super crispy.Bro gave us one of every sauce, and brought napkins INTO the bar for us after we went inside.5 stars, simple as that.

Nugtown is an excellent spot!!!!! The food is fantastic, and the prices are super reasonable. The sliders are my go to, and the variety of sauces is a major plus.

I've been living next to this spot, recently got management change , Must say I was totally surprised about the style of food Chicken was juicy and very flavourful ,hot and warmThe Hawaiian bread definitely compliments the chicken Everything was seasoned perfectly The sauces I tried were their nug sauce, medium, and jalapeño honey All of the sauces were nice and really changed things up with the chicken It's a definite must if you're in the area much love from one chef to the other Keep up the hard work

If you are a Chick-fil-A fan... Then you'll love this place. Their nuggets are like the Chick-fil-A's nuggets on crack. They are huge! But before I get started, let's get the nitty gritty out of the way. Parking is free but they do not have a parking lot, it's street parking which is free BUT it's hard to find. So just be aware of that as it took me a few minutes to find parking and to walk to the location. They are also located inside of a taco joint. It's right on the corner so if you see a taco joint, it's in there. I think there are 2 locations in one. But don't quote me on it. Lol As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away which was great. I got their combo with 2 mini sliders and 4 chicken nuggets with seasoned waffle fries. The mini sliders were yummy! The bread was soft soft soft and the chicken was flavorful and tender. It could've been a little more juicy but for what I think is chicken breast nuggets, it was great. The chicken nuggets seriously looked like Chick-fil-A's nuggets on crack. They were huge but still tender, juicy and flavorful! The dining room was ok. They had a few small tables so that you could dine if you want. No bathrooms though! And oh yeah save room for dessert! I got their peanut butter pie... It was delicious!! The crust was bomb and the rest of the pie was not that sweet which is a huge plus for me. The only reason why I took off a star was cuz the main reason why I went there was to get the fried pickles and they were out. It was only around 5pm and they were out. I was really disappointed as I LOVE fried pickles! I hope that I get to return soon to try their fried pickles!!

The customer service is top tier! I went one night and had such a great experience I brought a friend and came back the following night. They are opened late, they have a cool little vibe with the music and the seating area is clean. My food was fresh and hot and the owner is very friendly. The pies are homemade and I can truly say this is a Los Angeles gem this lemonade is so fire no lie.

Skip the drive through and head to a street corner to get some fantastic freshly fried goodies from Nugtown! They pop-up on Thursday-Sunday starting at 3pm on the northwest corner of Sycamore and Fountain in Hollywood. I parked on the street less than a block away, walked with my dog to their spacious tented spot, and ordered some essentials: chicken nuggets, vegan nuggets (fried cauliflower), and waffle fries. My first real true love was the chicken nugget, and Nugtown more than satisfies my chicky nugg desires! They really know how to perfectly fry - they use just the right amount of batter on the nuggs and it doesn't separate from the chicken/cauliflower when frying, and everything turns out super crispy and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Whatever seasoning they use is great and not overpowering, and their dipping sauces (I tried their mild and medium) are unique as they're on the liquidy side and have a smoothly tangy and peppery tomato taste. It was all sooooo yummy, and I used every last drop of the sauces. Next time, I'll have to add extra sauces to my order, and I really want to try their fried pickles too.I love that Nugtown is here in LA and that they're a small business. The guy who took my order was real chill and nice, and he was also the one who cooked up my food and bagged it - quite the multi-talented multi-tasker keeping this small business going! Since they're a pop-up operation, I suggest checking their Instagram before you go (@nugtownla) just in case they had to change their schedule or sold out of nuggs early.

No words can explain how great this food is. Great music... an incredibly friendly and hospitable person crafting this whole experience... yet Top notch in every way. I believe his name was Mike. Mike made this food with great care and cultivated an ambiance with amazing music and friendliness that almost surpassed the quality of the food. I say almost because the food put the bar so high that it was almost impossible. Run.. don't walk... run and try it for yourself, any review can't explain how great this place is. Thank you Mike! Hopefully I remembered his name right, genuine nice dude. Will definitely be back!

The BEST cauliflower nuggets & sauce I have ever had. As a vegetarian it is tough to find delicious tasting nuggets and this place literally had me saying how amazing it was every minute. 10/10 recommend.
