Love Noshi Sushi. This has become one of our go to spots for Sushi.Fresh fish, with a lot of variety in the menu.Ambiance/interior decor reminds me of the restaurants from my trip to Japan.I'm a big fan of the deluxe Chirashi at it comes with uni.Taking off one star for the spotty service at times, and a recent miss by serving an overcooked salmon special roll. I'll definitely be back!

WOW. If you are looking for an authentic sushi spot, this is by far the closest / best spot i've had since visiting some spots in Japan. The details / atmosphere restaurant is super cutemade me feel like i was in Japan :) getting seated on a Friday night wasn't too bad. Sign in and you get called into to sit. You have the option to set at one of their booths or in front sushi bar sitting. Service was great. They were attentive, food came out right away. Everything we ordered was 10/10. Flavor and presentation all were 10/10!!

Kings of Spicy Tuna!!! Been coming here for 20 years. Lived through the time when the OG Mr. Noshi handed over the reins to a hard-working and promising, young boss Ken. Noshi sushi is a very traditional Japanese spot and although they did innovate and added some cool upscale rolls, I absolutely love their basics. For the folks in the know, Noshi sushi are known as the Kings of Spicy Tuna. Whether it's a cut roll (ask for 5 piece) or a handroll, that delicious spicy tuna just melts in your mouth and you truly taste the fresh tuna and not just spicy mayo. I also love their fresh-water eel cut roll and enjoy tbeir albacore cut roll. Noshi's Uni (sea urchin) is just incredible, from the sweetness to the texture, to the freshness- it literally dissolves on your tongue and well, you just touch down on a heaven cloud). The Uni rivals some of the best Uni spots in the world by taste and freshness. Additionally, special mention to salmon and ikura sushi, they are pretty good as well. Speaking of service, it's definitely friendly, yet don't expect an all-teeth smile from your sushi chef, but rather, a samurai-style respectful nod with a hint of a smile, as dictates the tradition. And pricing-wise, the place is great and won't break your wallet. My advice to newcomers, don't get too creative on your first time -try the basics and they will blow your mind. Spicy tuna cut roll, Unagi cut roll, Albacore cut roll, request them to be cut into 5 pieces each. And uni of course, is awesome! Enjoy my winning formula. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing ambient sushi bar specializing in nigiri and rolls with monthly specials. Everything is very reasonably priced so you can come in and customize a full meal. They include miso soup with your order plus high quality wasabi and ginger. The chef handed my order directly to me and the energy was pleasant but lively. Really felt like being back in Japan, can't wait to go back!

It was ok. Just a bummer I hat it's located in a sad part of town and that they're overpriced.

This is my go to place for sushi in LA as it is very affordable for good quality. It is located in ktown. It has own parking lot but it is small and usually packed; however, there are plenty of street parking nearby. The food quality overall is very good.I also recommend getting draft beer here as it is authentic. The service can be a bit slow. The place and its design are not the best but honestly I think the foods here are great for their quality. They used to be cash only but now accepts credit card which is great :)

I love Noshi. The ambiance, pricing, food quality and service are great. I've been coming here for over 15 years. Quality has been consistent. And they finally take card payment now! WoohooTheir albacore carpaccio appetizer is delicious. We always love ordering the tempura because the oil is changed frequently leading to a light fragrant tempura that isn't dredged in brown oil. They have a great deal on pitchers of Sapporo. Parking: really sucks especially if you come at lunch time. People don't carpool so the tables aren't full but the parking lot is. SOMETIMES you can park on the residential street but make sure to read the sign. Noshi has the best California rolls. I just adore them. Their sashimi is fresh and the classic booths offer so much privacy while dining. I will say that if the smell of fried shrimp bothers you, don't come here. Often times they'll fry up the sweet shrimp heads as a side to the nigiri portion. Had a date who did not like the smell lol. So bring non-picky people here. As far as the "sashimi boat" situation, I don't really eat artic clams so I'd rather pay a bit more and get the 10pc sashimi. The beef tenderloin with teriyaki was tender and delicious. Would recommend you order that with the tempura combo.
