Love it here and I've loved it since they were on Sawtelle. When I learned that Nong La was going to take over the somewhat cursed location that they've taken over, I was beyond excited. And I'm sure they'll have much longevity (like their noodles) in this location. Both the Banh Mi and pho ga are sublime and worthy of multiple orders. If you get in early enough, you can get the chefs special pho, which was great (apologies, I forget what was in it that made it special).Overall, a great addition and I'm super stoked it's in Culver City, which doesn't really have that many GREAT vietnamese food.

the noodle was soggy and too soft, the meat was incredibly chewy and meh (and also too thick to where it wouldn't cook in the broth) the broth was also not hot enough. it was also not that flavorful or deep. so many things wrong with this pho - too bad you cannot get good pho too far from westminster/garden grove. the meat had some grizzly parts too and got all stuck in my teeth. like was it cut along the grain? what was wrong with it? i have no idea. one of the most lackluster phos i've had.. i was sad. should have known better not to have vietnamese in the west side T^T

Ordered door dash for a lazy Sunday afternoon and to my surprise bun rieu is finally on the Culver City menu! I've been waiting for this to happen since they first opened! I was lazy to drive to the other locations to get bun rieu and to know that it's more accesible to be now is awesome! Since you can only give full stars, I had to give it 4 stars but I really mean 4.5. Lots of noodles, plenty of crab/pork meatballs, and tofu. I only ate half and I'm full! The minor thing that I would change is that the tomatoes were overcooked and didn't have the fermented shrimp that goes as a topping. (Tbh probably better it didn't for my own health lol). Overall would definitely come back for my bun rieu fix!!!

Family owned spot with other locations in LA. Came here for dinner with a friend in a rainy night around 7:30pm on a Wednesday; the place was buzzing but I was able to get a table for us right away. There's indoor and outdoor seating. They were out of the veggie pho so I tried the bun bo hue here. There was a giant piece of bone with no meat and limited meat otherwise, but I liked the flavor. It was only slightly spicy so it should appeal to a broader palate. There are options like sandwiches and plates if you're not feeling like pho. The servers were nice and efficient. Overall, a food spot for a casual meal.

Solid Vietnamese with service so fast you will wonder how they do it. everything about this place is nice and hits the spot. This ain't a culinary adventure or mind pooping expertise. It is just good quick food served by sweet friendly people. Have a great time!

I wasn't feeling well and knew a bowl of pho would help me get over the hump. In the heart of Culver City, the service here was spot on and the food was affordable. By the end of my meal, it was bustling, but started as a quiet meal (which I prefer). The portions were generous and the spring rolls were extremely fresh and paired well with the peanut sauce. The pho was rich, hot, and well seasoned. Great weekend spot with solid ambiance. I would totally come back again.

It was decent pho, a bit on the pricey side, but nothing memorable. Portions were huge, the space was well lit, and our forgotten appetizer was well handled.

I can't believe I've lived in LA for four years and just discovered Nong La. I went with a friend to the Sawtelle location to get the Chay noodle (vegetarian pho) and it was sooooooo good. Often when you're craving something light you go out and seek a soup that's clean and light and not too salty. And then again and again you realize there's just no such thing in "outside food". That's where Nong La comes in! Wow, the Chay noodle is full of flavor and ingredients. I LOVE daikon soup and the soup base is made with daikon and carrots. There's a generous serving of tofu and oyster mushrooms too. I'm such a fan of this vegetarian dish! Then my friends asked me if I've tried the Bun Rieu...Where have I been this whole time? This dish has a tomato aspect to it, the broth is slightly acidic. However it's still a clear broth. The crab and pork meatballs are so yummy! I fear I'll be back soon and soon again thereafter for these dishes. Looking forward to my next visit! Also the staff is very hardworking and friendly. I appreciate their efforts immensely. The restaurant can be so very hectic and busy at peak times- be aware of this because there could be a wait. The staff is often trying to manage it the best they can!

I love the outdoor seating here. I tried a bunch of different dishes and they were good. I am still so loyal to PHO SHOW for their fresh spring rolls and pho tho. So I have only been here once and got the fried egg roll thingy, fresh shrimp spring rolls, and a salad.

Growing up, my mom would make pho on weekend mornings, especially when it's chilly outside. So coming here for lunch reminded me of those times. This corner Vietnamese cafe in Culver City is small with limited seating inside. There's outside seating too, but it was too cold today. I ordered the Tai with thinly sliced rare filet mignon. The bowl came with a side dish of bean sprouts, basil, lime and sliced jalapeños. I added everything to the bowl and mixed them in the broth. The aroma was nice, but my first taste left much to be desired. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I've been spoiled having really good homemade phos in my life.
