This was my second visit to Night+Market and it's only gotten better. My first visit was exactly a year ago, I hosted my birthday dinner with 12 other guests, had a fixed menu and it was seamless. Working with Jonathan to plan this night was a pleasure. The service was impeccable which you don't often find for such a big group. The only downside was at the time there wasn't a valet so we had to park at the hotel across the street. Fast forward a year later, I went last night for dinner with a friend and again - the food is MEMORABLE. We got the wings, crispy pork belly, green beans, panang, jasmine rice, and pad thai! Everything was incredibly delicious and came out quickly. We had ordered the mango sticky rice for dessert but they ran out which was the only downside. We had the Thai donuts which were also DELICIOUS. They offer an incredible wine selection as well. The vibe of the restaurant makes you feel like you've traveled to Thailand for the night. Bright colors, fun music. The restaurant gets pretty loud when it's full - not where I'd pick for a first date or dinner with anyone hard of hearing. The restaurant now offers valet which is so necessary and appreciated! I'd come back here again and again

Alright lets talk Night + Market! Theres been a lot of positive/negative reviews but as of December 2024 they are still providing quality thai food and a good selection of wine.Recently I went for a night out with a friend and while parking can be tricky I recommend slowing down and taking the first spot on the street you find. Now for the food, the pad thai is well made. Not overly oily or making you feel like you just completed a "big back activity". The papaya salad is a lot for two and we found ourselves taking it home. Even though the floor was busy the food came out fast! Finally, the atmosphere. Yes the music is loud. If that is not something you're okay with please consider elsewhere. You can still hold a solid conversation but might need to speak louder than usual depending where you are and the speaker proximity.Overall, good and would go again for sure!

Loved the menu variety and how different the vibes are from other Thai restaurants. So authentic and great wine options. The full bar is also great for pre-dinner drinks.Food came out fast and hot! The staff was helpful with their tips and favs of the menu items. You can customize the spice level, but it is Thai so remember it is pretty hot.

Oh my gosh Night+Market has been on my list for a while and I finally got to visit their WeHo location and it did not disappoint! I grabbed dinner with a friend here and I definitely recommend just ordering a bunch of dishes and eating family style. We ordered: peek gai hey-ha, crispy five spice pork belly, panang neua with sticky jasmine rice, chicken pad thai, garlic green beans, AND shared some delish donut holes for dessert. Safe to say the food was beyond delicious and we both had leftovers to take home. Unfortunately they were out of the mango and coconut rice dessert as it's quite popular! The staff was great, they get very busy on weekends so you definitely need to make a reservation. It's a small space and gets quite loud so not a great spot for a first date/if you're trying to have a deep convo, but they do have a back room you can reserve for large parties/groups/celebrations. Decor and aesthetic is super cute and funky. Parking you either have to do valet or park in the $20 lot across the street.

Night + Market always popped out whenever I look at lists of restos to check out in LA so decided to give it a go. The vibe is cute, defo very street market in Asia vibes. Food was alright, nothing too special or different. Good. Like everything was standard good. Overall, a decent place for Thai food with a cute vibe. I think I expected more? ,

I've had take out from here before and I believe it was a great experience. This time on the other hand, the crispy rice salad wasn't properly packaged so by the time I got home the crispy rice was pretty much soaked in the dressing of the salad. They did an incredible job of packing the curry cause there wasn't a single spill. It was still good all in all just disappointing cause all I wanted was the crispy rice salad and ended up with just salad and soggy rice

Fun spot with good food right on sunset in West Hollywood. We were seated in the patio which was nice and felt seduced from the hustle of sunset blvd. This place is usually pretty busy so service is not the best but everything went well. We got the fried fish and the pastrami pad khee mao. Both were very delicious and well made. I definitely recommend this spot for a unique Asian dinner.

This place is a Sunset Strip scene first and foremost, but I've read plenty of positive reviews, so we decided to stop in after an early movie. We didn't have a reservation, but at 8pm on a Saturday it was still a little quiet, so they were able to seat us. Hostess was very nice and the menu looked very interesting - we dove in. They have a short list of specialty cocktails, and I decided on one with a name that now escapes me (it's not listed online). The flavor profile came to define much of the food that we ordered, which is this: lots of spice at the forefront that masks much of everything else. Now, I like spice a lot, and I never shy away from it, but the drink had nothing else backing it up. Spice was also very front and center in the Thai peanut sauce that accompanied the Filet Mignon Satay. I loved the sauce and would eat it all day... and the fact that I could choose how much to put on the meat allowed me to balance the spiciness with the much more delicately seasoned beef. This totally worked. The Crab Rangoon, by contrast, was a tad too bland. Generally not a spicy dish anywhere, the fried treats had a nice crunch but the crab & cream cheese filling had very little flavor at all. So, while the filet had a wonderful flavor profile that satisfied with or without the peanut sauce, in the absence of a spicy accompaniment, the Rangoon was forgettable. Our main course was the Pastrami Pad Kee Mao. Known to be a spicy noodle dish, and clearly marked as such, this version was hella hot. I liked it very much -- but, the flavor of the pastrami completely disappeared. This could have been any protein, and so the dish ultimately disappointed because there was no "pastrami" element that came through. I was excited to see how the chef might fuse pastrami with a Thai staple, but there was no marriage. What would Thai pastrami taste like? No idea from this dish. Between the size of the meat (very thin strips) and the major spice of the noodles & sauce, if there was an intriguing flavor to the meat it was completely lost. Had I ordered regular beef or chicken, and had there been no expectations of something unique, this would just have been very good Pad Kee Mao that I could get many other places. The spice was too much for my wife, so she ordered a traditional Pad Thai, which they brought out quickly (thank you). That was tasty and fine, but easily gotten anywhere. By the time we were finished the place was very busy, and the crowd was easily 20 years or more younger than us. They were loud and buzzy and having a blast, so Night + Market clearly knows how to please its target audience. But despite the great atmosphere, and the James Beard kudos, I found the food itself to be unbalanced and I'm not necessarily inclined to try again -- though I could be convinced if a group wanted to go.UPDATE: Since I'd taken home half my Pastrami Pad Kee Mao, I heated it up today and made a point of tasting the Pastrami before anything else. The Pastrami is not Thai spiced, but has a traditional, NY Jewish deli flavor. This actually works well with the Thai flavored noodles, but I go back to what's written above, that the intense spice masked the flavor and prevented me from enjoying the contrast when served at the table. I'm not a chef, but perhaps it makes sense to adjust the presentation of the dish, so the diner can experience the pastrami atop the spicy noodles, and the contrasting flavors can meld together to greater effect.

Not so good first experience a few weeks back for my wife and I. Not sure if weren't LA hipsters enough or caught the staff on a bad night. Customer service was stale. Not very friendly. Especially the hostess. Food was good though. Very flavorful. The server did however mention their crunch wrap was already prepared when we asked for it without chicken. Which sucked because chicken is one of my wife's pregnancy, food aversions. Place definitely lost points not having all their food made to order. And then when I tagged them on my IG story, they'd didn't repost haha guess I wasn't cool enough or have enough followers for them. Overall, we'd return to give them one more try. The food like I mentioned was pretty good. Oh and if you're sober or just don't drink, don't ask for wings. They were pretty firm on only offer their wing deal if you ordered wine.

The short rib in the curry was so soft and I loved this dish. It was my first time coming to Night + Market and I was not really expecting the inside to look so cool, it felt like I stepped into my grandmas home with all the table cloths and pictures on the wall but it was cooler. My friend told me her pad see ew was a little too salty but it was good other wise. Everyone was nice and our food was out quickly.
