I didn't have high hopes for this place, just because it's not located in Thai Town and when I first went at 1:30 PM, there was only one other table here; but the food is delicious. The menu here is Thai with a modern twist! They even had a crunchwrap supreme... and pastrami! Anyway, we ordered the:- Fried Chicken Sandwich: This is the first time in my LIFE, that I had a fried chicken sandwich that wasn't smothered in sauce but was still so flavorful!!! I didn't think it was possible but the slaw on top didn't make the sandwich feel soggy, and the fried chicken was just perfect. The bun was so good too, and it had a very spicy kick to it (depending on whether or not you remove the jalapenos). - Panang Curry: This doesn'tcome with beef, it only comes with chicken and tofu. I think it's good, its not served with rice though and comes, instead, with three fried triangle nann? Pieces of bread? It was super good, had a very bold flavor, and spicy. I think those two are great choices. Now, let's talk about the cons...1. Parking: Street parking. It sucks. But welcome to Los Angeles, if you're lucky youll get metered parking right in front of the restaurant. 2. Price: For two entrees, one sticky rice, and one thai tea... our bill was $60 BEFORE TIP. The Thai tea was TINY and $5... the sticky rice is also tiny and $4. In general, I think things are pretty pricey here, but it could be due to the neighborhood.I know some people say its loud and cluttered, the chairs are uncomfortable, the tables are way too close, but I found it was OK. I was able to hear perfectly fine, and it didn't bother me much.Overall, I'll definitely go back and take my parents!

Night + Market Song met all my Thai cravings for the day. The pros... The food was great. We did a mix of a noodle dish, fried rice, and a larb dish. We shared it all which I love. This way you can have a little bit of it all. The flavors hit the mark. And now the cons... The place was pretty packed. I get it. Real estate might be pricey and the demand is high. but at the same time, no one can think when the tables are literally on top of each other. I could not hear anyone at my table that was just a few inches from me. The parking too was terrible. Where does one park? I parked up the hill and had a long trek down to the restaurant. I'm glad I tried this once but I will probably not be back due to the ambiance and parking.

Very hipster and LA vibe-y Thai restaurant. It's more of a natty wine bar and a Thai restaurant attached to it. That being said, the food is not really authentic, but I think it's nice for a date spot. I appreciate that they don't really alter the spiciness so if you can't handle spice, there should be some non spicy dishes! As for the food:The chicken pad Thai was extremely overcooked and was like a wet blob on our plate. The larb and panang curry were quite spicy but delicious enough. The server was nice, but had to come back a couple of times to let us know they were out of things (the wine, dessert, etc) I noticed the next week that the restaurant charged my card twice that I had to keep going back and forth with them about.

A really cute restaurant with natural wine! I really enjoyed the wine selection however, the food was questionable. I ordered the crispy pork, but I didn't expect it to be so salty and drenched in seasoning rub. The service was OK, but I wouldn't be inclined to try this place again.

Night + Market Song is a popular Thai restaurant in Silver Lake (reviewed by the L.A. Times and Eater L.A. team) and is the second of three locations by Chef Kris Yenbamroong. Parking can be a bit hard because it's Silver Lake, but luckily, I found metered street parking, which is free on Sundays, but double-check the signs.Service was a mixed bag: the waitress wasn't that friendly and took her sweet time, but our waiter was cooler. He was friendlier and just on top of things. In any case, the food is spicy. The levels are Thai-level spicy, which means mild is hot. Dishes are meant to be shared, so we ordered the popular Crispy Rice Salad, Pad See Ew, and the Spaghetti Salted Fish, which was sooo salty lolol. Personally, it was way too salty for me. Overall, I wish some dishes were less spicy and not overly salty.

Service: We've gotten Tony as our server both times we've come here and he had the best recommendations for us and was super cool! All the staff there are very nice. Food: My favorite dishes among the ones Tony recommended so far: the pork toro, the startled pig, the brussel sprouts, the crispy rice salad. Food here is legit thai spicy levels, but it hurts so good! They also have thai beer here, wine, and sodas (including SQUIRT! Which is a rarity at restaurants). Ambience: At nighttime, it's a neon dream. Moody with a purple sheen to everything inside. When the restaurant is full it can kind of get overwhelmingly loud because it's so small and kind of densely packed, so if you have volume/noise sensitivity, might be better to try to come at off hours! Parking: It's metered street parking and can be TOUGH since it's sunset blvd. However, we've luckily managed to grab a spot when we've come here on weeknights. It's also worth it for the food!

we got so lucky with parking -- friend and i parked on the street (which was about 6pm on a saturday)! so like heads up it's sorta hard to get here lovely staff, very patient and charismatic. big fan of the lady who kept calling my friend and i "lovelies"! i got the panang neua with coconut rice. i really like the ratio of meat to soup. it was good and hearty. the soup was strong and i saw two bay leaves, which pleased me. i think this is one of the few spots in LA where i didn't feel robbed by a stew. of course, the beef short rib itself was divine and tender and went so well with the coconut rice. the roti it came served with was also fried to perfection and didn't feel oily! so great for dipping the coconut rice almost made me tear up. it tasted like the steamed rice my aunt makes for me. came in a darling little parcel shape but didn't have a banana leaf aroma to it... curiouser and curiouser...next time i want to try their sweet wines! thank you for a great, great meal (thumbs up)

I LOVE Night + Market Song... and am so so glad they made it through the COVID scare.NIght + Market Song is a modern take/twist on Thai food. I wouldn't say it's a hole in the wall authentic Thai spot like Pa Ord Noodle is, but I absolutely love it. The most recent time we came for my bf's birthday. We ordered:1. Papaya Salad (medium spice) - this was spicy and DELISH. I loved that it was a little extra salty, probably some of the better papaya salads i've had. 9/102. Moo Sadoong "Startled Pig" - got this one in spicy. FAVORITE dish of the night, 10/10. It is a spicy herbal salad with grilled pork, and all the herbs balanced so well with the pork, it was absolutely chefs kiss. 10/103. Pork Jowel - this one was good, the pork was very juicy and the flavor was on the sweeter side. I liked it but didn't love it quite as much as the other dishes. 7/104. SPICY spaghetti (cannot remember exact menu name) - TBH this item was also a favorite, tied with the moo sadoong! It was so flavorful with the basil and red bell peppers, and it only comes at the spicy level. This was listed as a special new item on the menu, so get it if it's there!!Love that they take reservations now too! They didn't prior to covid, so yay!

This was on my list for a while and I am glad I finally got a chance to go. I got the crispy pork salad which is definitely a shareable dish. I got it less spicy and cannot imagine what full spice would be like. The textures and crunchy bits plus the fresh contrasting herbs and vegetables make the dish. It does not travel or overnight well. Eat it same day! I also got the beef massaman curry with roti and my god the creamy sweet curry was absolutely perfect with a subtle heat. The roti was a bit oily but in the most perfect greasy crispy freshly fried way. I could probably eat that weekly. Loved the street stall decoration vibes and enjoyed my time . Would take out of towners if only parking wasn't the bane of my existence. Service was hard as management only had one single girl working the bar and all the tables. Poor girl was run ragged until another staff came in to assist. She did the best she could so I appreciated that and could commiserate

obsessed with this place. vibes are great, the crispy rice lives rent free in my head (GET IT), and the "crunchwrap supreme" is stupid good. usually hit the weho location but went to this one last night and was a little disappointed by the service. had a res at 8:15 but they were slammed so had to wait till 8:30 which is no problem at all, but at 9:15 they did last call (we ordered another entree, more drinks, & dessert) and by 9:30 they had rushed everyone else out and seemed wildly annoyed that we were still finishing our dessert we had just received. i've worked in service so i understand wanting to close up, but the restaurant doesn't close until 10, so why we were being rushed out 30 minutes prior to that is beyond me, especially when it was clearly a busy night where people weren't even being seated right away. still 10/10 recommend this place. just leaving this review for management bc it was disappointing to go to dinner with a friend i never see and feel rushed the whole time, and the experience probably would have me avoid this particular location in the future.
