New Mandarin Terrace

Haven't been here in a few years and came in with my parents on a whim. Great food and great service! Hidden gem in Sun Valley.

Came here tonight for dinner. We had the Volcano Shrimp and General Tso's Chicken. It was all delicious from soup to main entree. Used to go here when it was Gem Hay Restaurant. The service was excellent. So much food we have lunch for tomorrow. Just down the street from our house. We will be back

Love this place. Food is delicious and the people who work here are so nice and attentive. Reasonable prices, overall good experience every time I come.

I had a cashew chicken lunch special and they didn't skimp. My chicken was juicy and flavorful. Sauce was a little heavy but better that than light. Crispy egg roll and some of the best hot n sour soup I've had lately.My only was the lackluster fried rice. Only sprinkles of egg and no veggies for the side portion.

Let me start by saying it's a lil hidden spot in Sun Valley .The food is amazing, they are not stingy with the shrimp to top it if they have vegetarian plates very fresh veggies and the fried rice was delicious . Leo was very attentive and kept asking if we needed anything to let him know that's a plus to me . The Chili Oil amazing !!Inside is very clean and smells like the food is being cooked at that moment. Definitely must try

My mother wanted to go out and have dinner together. She suggested chinese and I knew the exact place to go to. This trip was very delightful. The food was excellent as always and the return of sweet amd sour pork was the cherry on top. Last year I was told sweet and sour pork was off the menu. Seeing it on the menu I had to ask if it was true.

Since the closing of Chor's in Sunland, we don't have a go-to Chinese spot for takeout anymore. So we decided to try New Mandarin Terrace, which we've driven by a million times, but the outside looks a bit run down, so we never gave it much thought. Glad we remembered, because they have some decent food. My husband's General Tso's chicken wasn't all that, but I was pleased to see they offer Mu Shu Pork, which is my favorite. They are more expensive than Chor's was, but maybe we'll try dining in the restaurant next time.

Return to see how the food was after restaurant being in new ownership. All I can say, was the food was so delicious, flavorful, and fresh. I feel as though it was better than ever. The service the people gave to me, was so kind, patient, and very kind. The ambience itself was calm, but also with a beautiful pop of culture. Definitely loving the restaurant even more than before.(Totally forgot to take a picture of the Egg-rolls & Three flavored sizzling rice soup.(Ps.Food was too good to wait))

Just had a reception for a large group and the food and service were excellent. The manager, Leo, was very attentive accommodating and made sure the quality was top notch and everyone was pleased. Definitely coming back - highly recommend - food was as good or better than any place in China Town.

Placed on order over the phone. Staff was really friendly upon arrival and made sure I had enough utensils and sauces. The inside of the restaurant looks nice and they have a room for banquets and party's. I tried the vegetable chow mein, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, egg rolls, and fried shrimp. I enjoyed the food I love the kick from the orange chicken I just wish it was a little crispier. Overall the food was delicious and I definitely want to come back to try more items!
