So fluffy indeed, and great value! A plate of the 4 pork buns is only $13 and the portions are massive. I could comfortably eat 2 of them. We ordered too much for 2 people and had to take 4 of the buns home. Taste wise, I think it's alright (speaking as someone who prefers the taste of Chinese dumplings), but the texture is everything. The texture of the dough is so soft and fluffy, yet also chewy. I'd get the pork buns again, but would skip the vegetable buns, mainly because I thought it was a little too bitter from the cabbage or chives. The pork and shrimp boiled dumplings are solid as well - cooked to the right chewy texture without the skin getting soft.I re-steamed the leftover buns a couple days later and they still had the fluffy and chewy texture.

I was craving dumplings and stopped in at Myung In one afternoon. It was not crowded and I got seated and helped right away. I ordered the tofu salad and then made a fatal error and decided to order the king steam dumplings. Do NOT order these if you come on your own like I did! They are softball sized! I got the pork and kimchi and they were good with a little kick. The dumpling dough was perfectly fluffy and chewy. The tofu salad was also so good! Whatever dressing they used was sweet and soaked into the silken tofu and the pickled onions were a great addition. I did have to get up and ask for my check but I don't have any complaints about the service otherwise! There is a parking lot but I was able to find a street parking spot on a side street.

Limited choices due to it being Father's Day. Sadly food was eaten semi cold since we waited to eat it. The kind lady was helpful.I lowered the two stars since the food was yummy but not mind blowing.

Typical small specialty restaurant in K-town that specializes in giant dumplings. Myung-in isn't much for ambiance or service but they have good giant steamed mandoo (regular pork or w kimchi) as well as a few varieties of other dumplings. They also have a few none-dumpling things on the menu but I did not try them. If you fall in love with the regular dumplings here, you can buy a bag of frozen ones to take home. For dessert, they sell the classic Korean red bean paste filled giant paat-mandoo!

We had a taste for some authentic dumplings in Koreatown. After vetting the internet, we chose here and weren't disappointed! My order of Fried Rice With Shrimp and Vegetables was amazing. As were the Steamed Dumplings, and both the Short Rib and Beef Dumpling Soups. And I felt generally safe parking there with the roving Security Guards present. Recommended for a delicious meal!

What's going on with this place?! Or is my taste bud out of wack?! The dumplings aren't good anymore?! What happen? Did the ownership changed??? The service here isn't the best for sure~ they're very rude but I believe you could have been rude before but after tasting the dumplings I believe you better be so nice to the point you're begging for their business! So to sum this up don't go ~ it's not good~ the place is small and not the cleanest but it's ktown and they've been around for such a long time. But yes I don't recommend this place at all! If you're pulling up I say back up and go somewhere else!

Everything was amazing! From the food, inexpensive, delicious to the service, the ladies were very attentive and friendly. Our server reminded us that we were ordering a lot of food for two people. Ambiance is ok, it's not a fancy restaurant but it was clean and cozy.

Provender: this is a great place to order all sorts of dumplings, like steamed or fried dumplings or steamed buns. They also offer other things, like dumpling soup and shrimp fried rice. I ordered both and they hit the spot.Prices: the dumpling soup and fried rice are both under $15, individually. Ordering both creates a perfect meal for two.Parking: the restaurant is located in a small restaurant enclosure, so although there's parking it can get busy. Going on off hours will ensure easier parking.People: fun for all.Perks: if you're craving dumplings or buns, this is the place you'll want to visit since they specialize in them. They also offer a few types of soups, like dumpling soup (which includes rice cakes). Friendly staff and mom and pop vibe.
