I think I've found my new favorite tonkatsu spot! I usually go to Wako Donkatsu, but this place definitely takes the crown. The space is small, but the servers are super friendly and attentive. The STUFFED JALAPENOS were a great starter, but the PORK BELLY KATSU was the real standout. ENJOY!PS: Parking is terrible. It's a very small lot. But with terrible parking aside, you'll love the food!

Saw this place on Tik Tok and glad to be here before it blows up bc it is the best donkatsu I've had in LA!! The Cheese Katsu is perfectly gooey with thin strips of pork loin to balance it and the Chicken Katsu is also cooked beautifully. Everything is the right amount of crisp to filling ratio, whether it's meat or cheese. It also comes with really yummy side dishes that we couldn't get enough of. Service was also on point, they gave us extra rice on the house and the owner came to greet us as well. The interior is super cute & they have markers at each table for you to sign your name on the wall. Will be back here soon!

My Donkatsu is an adorable hole-in-the-wall katsu joint that recently opened in Koreatown LA. Just from the homey interior with cute drawings on the wall, we knew we were in for an amazing meal. The meal began with a complimentary salad, simple but delicious, and continued with 2 katsus and udon. Everything tasted so good! Perfectly crispy and meat was tender. Udon was larger than anticipated and comforting. The owner was super sweet as well! Please show your support to this small business + remember to leave a cute drawing on the walls like we did! (-:

All the food was juicy and delicious. Definitely a place to try for Donkatsu. It's small but not crowded. I recommend trying the Cheese Donkatsu! (One of the only few places in Ktown that sells them.)

This small shop is serving up one of the best unagi katsus I've ever had (granted this is probably the first time I've had it), but top tier katsu hands down. Each bite is met with a delectable crispy fried skin surrounding a soft middle layer of eel. I would come back for this dish alone. Also, who doesn't love supporting small businesses? The Korean woman who served us was so cute. She even let my friend and I be the first ones to write on the wall.

Best donkatsu I've had so far in ktown, use to stop by Papas Chicken next door which is now closed. But now will definitely be coming back. Eel donkatsu was my favorite, generous portions of melt in your mouth eel and good side dishes and a small bowl of udon soup (They offer refills on the sauce/rice) Cheese donkatsu was surprisingly not heavy at all and easy to eat a lot of. They don't skimp on the cheese, 10/10 cheese pull. Pork itself wasnt dry and tender. The breading on all their donkatsu is very light and not oily but still crispy/flaky.

Food 5/5: wow it melts in your mouth. The breading is very crunchy and soft. The sauces came with the dish was very yummy and the side dishes go crazy. It reminded me of Hawaiian katsu. Service 5/5: very sweet serviceAmbiance 5/5Highly recommend!

If you're a fan of tonkatsu, you have to try this place. The owner/chef is wonderful, attentive, and super nice. Her food and plating is simple, clean, and appetizing. I had the regular Pork Katsu and the Cheese Katsu, and both were excellent. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The banchan was very good as well. I highly recommend My Donkatsu!

The food is was super good! My sister and I got one udon and one cheese donkatsu. The cheese wasn't too cheesy and it didn't overpower the overall taste of the food. The service was super good and she made sure we were well taken care of. She would ask if we needed anything and the space is super clean. I usually eat donkatsu with the sauce but their spicy mayo? I think that's what it was went really well with the Donkatsu! The amount of food you get is pretty good! They have markers on the table so you can draw on the walls. If I'm back in LA, this will be the place I'll go to for Donkatsu!

Ate here before Aespa in LA. My group of four wanted to go to seoul eatery down the street, but it was too packed so we found this place and walked around 5 mins. When we walked in, the atmosphere was very cozy and friendly. The servers who served us were super nice and even gave us more sauces and side dishes without us having to ask. Staff is super welcoming and I could tell that they love what they do/serve. The food was amazing as well! We were reccomended to try the unagi katsu which is a dish that I usually wouldn't get since I prefer beef over fish but this dish was delicous and very worth it! The breading was very crispy and unagi was rich and filling. We also ordered the pork katsu and it was also very good (crispy breading, good meat). I don't go to LA often and usually only for concerts, so when I come back to the area again, I will definitely return and would reccomend to try!
