Lowkey one of my favorite locations for sushi. Great value. Parking sucks however buts it's LA

Easy to place an order over the phone (haven't tried online) and pick up, their fish selection is nice and very fresh. I've ordered a couple times now and definitely appreciate having another fresh sushi option in the neighborhood! Interior is quite calming, minimalistic, clean and modern. Go give them a try if you're in the area - classic offerings are also available as a hand or cut roll which a plus to me (i.e., blue crab, tuna, etc.). Reasonable pricing for the quality. Side note: My first experience here there was a bill discrepancy and the owner was very quick to resolve. The fact that I was even contacted by the owner speaks volumes in Hollywood! Wonderful service and everything was taken care of. Will return soon.

After hearing so much about this place and driving 45 minutes to try it, I found it a bit disappointing. The service is great, and everyone is very friendly. The décor is simple and minimalist, which I appreciated. However, I'm still puzzled by the food. The fish quality was average, with thin slices on Al Dente rice, but the biggest surprise was the overwhelming sweetness in everything. The rice, every sauce--everything had a noticeable sweetness that was overpowering.Here's what we ordered:* Garlic Shishito: Nicely spicy, but the shishito peppers had a tough, inedible skin.* Agedashi Tofu: The texture of the tofu was good, but again, it was very sweet.* Miso Soup: This was tasty and enjoyable.* Sushi: Yellowtail Belly, Salmon Belly, Shima Aji, and Amberjack were all average, each with its own special sauce, but yet again, all overly sweet.I won't be returning, though it seems a lot of people enjoy the flavors at this new spot.

Food 3/5: the fish was very average and very thin small portion, nothing premium tasting, green tea was very good. Service 5/5: very nice staff membersAmbiance is small yet boutique

Wow. Probably the best sushi in Hollywood. Fresh sashimi that melts in your melt, portions of the cuts & rice were generous. This food was made with love I can already tell. The place itself was so cute and minimal. I wish I could stay in and eat so my hand rolls would have been fresh and crunchy but I had to order take out. Regardless, the hand roll salmon I got was still delicious. The chefs didn't mess with the flavors of the sashimi which was a good thing because it shows you the delicious flavor the fishes gives off naturally. Everything was well thought out and priced reasonably. You gotta check this place out, trust me.

Really enjoyed the food and would recommend! Highlights were the salmon teriyaki and amberjack crudo. The service was good and the restaurant had a nice aesthetic.

10/10 NO NOTES!! THIS MY NEW FAVORITE LIL SPOT!! And it's right by my nail shop Lanicure, so I'll be having plenty of self care dates here. The wings and spicy tuna live in my head rent free. And the minimalist aesthetic is so clean and makes you feel welcome immediately. The service was also really nice, i truly have no complaints and I can't wait to come back (:

As a big Japanese food lover, I am sooo happy this new Japanese spot opened near me! The tekka don was probably the best tuna bowl I've ever had and their happy hour deals were very reasonably priced (I got the shima aji crudo and it did not disappoint). Super quick service and really excellent quality of fish and presentation. It is a great switch up from the Sugarfish nearby, which doesn't have much variation if you're going often. Excited to try the rest of Musume's menu!

If you're looking for a neighborhood sushi place with exceptional quality sushi, personable sushi chefs-- shout out to James and Jam-- go sit at the sushi bar. They share innovative sushi bites, concoctions, delivered with beautiful artistry that satisfies the aesthetic as well as the sensual. Prices are super reasonable. Lunch specials are hard to beat for the value. The space is clean. Modern, and chill. I think they're getting they're liquor license soon... for those date nights. Super close to Netflix, I'm hopeful that this new place will become a hot spot soon...Fingers crossed that we'll still be able to get in without a wait! Check it out-- and sit at the sushi bar if you can!
