Small hole in the wall in Little Tokyo. Service was a bit slow; people that came in after us were attended to first. The servers were polite but we just weren't given the best tending in terms of refills for drinks. Ramen was good; had to ask for more hot sauce and sriracha.

Food: The food was flavorful. I ordered a bento box and the dip for the pork gyzoya was very vinegary, I did not like it. However the rest of the food was delicious. Service: Attentive, fast, and friendly.Ambiance: the restaurant is small but welcoming. We were there right before the dinner rush and the restaurant was very quite and peaceful. We enjoyed our dinner.

10 tables indoor that seat 4 or more. small restaurant in little tokyo. a casual average quality joint. not 5 stars but can suffice for a casual night. price is standard 12-16$ per ramen or curry or bento plate with average price $15-16. essentially a straight corridor with 20 feet by 40 feet and can be very intimate. decently lit, not too quiet, not too loud. The waiters are young college age types and the music has jazz and us blues. friendly. It's "americanized" as a restaurant culture but still serves decent japanese ramen and Japanese food. Good for low key solo eating or with 1 or 2 friends something small.alot of mixed japanese us creative artwork done both by professionals/locals ie canvas art + individual sticky notes by kids. Like hipster style. It's all indoor no outdoor.there are 2 bathrooms. they take cash, credit card, apple pay/google pay for currency. They have vegetarian and kid options. There is EV charging in the Aiso parking garage towards aiso street. There is also free meter parking after certain hours at night near by. they dont validate parking

The food was amazing the soup I got was something with the T and it was a pork broth one. I got it with tofu and corn and lemons on the side. So delicious and it was perfect because I felt like I was getting sick. I also ordered a large Saparro. My guest got herself the kimchi one. She also loved it and "it hit the spot". I will come back to try their karage chicken and maybe the bento box.

I was on a short break and decided I wanted a bite to eat so I went to Mr. Ramen located in LA' S little Tokyo. Once you walk in you see how spacious the restaurant is and you notice a lot of art work on the walls including the restaurants art work! I sat down and was greeted quickly and given the menu I wanted to step out of my comfort zone so I ordered the beef curry Ramen and it did not disappoint It was so tasty! Such a good mix of Ramen and curry. It balanced so well! It came with a decent amount of beef, green onion, regular white onion, Ramen and I went ahead and added an egg which was not marinated in that special soy sauce mix like most Ramen spots, but while it sat in my soup, it picked up the flavor of the curry broth, so it wasn't so bad! I'm glad I was nearby and decided to go here. I'll definitely come back soon and try a different Ramen bathroom was big and clean!

Dinner in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, California...After visiting the Shohei Ohtani mural on the wall of the Miyako Hotel, we walked across the street to Mr. Ramen. This is a cozy, hipster, old-school restaurant with efficient, polite service. I liked the little artwork hanging on the wall... made by customers!I got the Tofu Ramen, which was healthy and filling. The broth was kind of creamy and not too salty! The noodles were chewy, and the veggies were fresh! The meal wasn't too heavy either, but just right on a warm, September evening! Thank you!

After 30 years, there's a reason why Mr Ramen remains my go-to place when visiting little Tokyo. Great atmosphere, tentative staff and great tasting Ramen! Next time you're in the area, whether it's lunch or dinner, be sure you stop by.

Stopped by for the Tensura anime collab. Got the Fried Chicken / Karage which was really good. Good flavoring. Right amount of crisp! The staff was very friendly. The interior has good amount of seating and awesome wall decorations! One side is full of artwork and doodles that guests / customers have done. There are some really talented artists on display! Definitely look forward to coming back!

The fantastic artwork on the walls add an authentic vibe to the whole experience. I found myself constantly looking around and just loving being there. The dining area is relatively small, but nice. The place is said to be a "legacy" restaurant, having been passed down a family generation. There are many Ramen places in this area and I feel like each one has different aspects to offer. Mr. Ramen's contribution is a solid, simple bowl of ramen backed up by a steadfast history of thriving (or attempting) to thrive in this difficult economic world. It's a special experience in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The food is good. Large bowls, smooth savory broth, chewy noodles and tender meat. The egg on my Tonkatsu was seasoned goodness. Enjoyable food with a welcome price point especially considering the area. Go and support!

GREAT FOOD, EVEN BETTER SERVICE, AND THE BEST LEMONADE I THINK I'VE EVER HAD ! My first time here, and definitely will not be my last! My coworkers and I met up for dinner, and whew, the parking is INTENSE. Food: 5/5 I ordered the bento box, spicy edamame, and lemonade. Literally all 3 were great. The spicy edamame was better than most, but the lemonade was absolutely phenomenal. Like, they make it in a shaker, and definitely different than any other place I've gotten lemonade from. The fried chicken box was so good, the salad is a little boring (I LOVE salad) it didn't have enough dressing, or idk totally missing something. Price: 4/5 Bento box: $18.00Edamame: $ 7.50Lemonade: $ 2.50 Honestly, everything was affordable, and worth it. All around: 5/5If you can get past the parking, it's totally worth going to! As soon as we got there, it turned into a 50 min wait! So- be careful! Haha. Again, totally worth the wait!
