Mr. BBQ in Fullerton, California, offers and all you can eat Korean barbeque experience that has attracted significant attention from both locals and visitors. Upon entering, guest are greeted with music and numerous TV's. The staff is attentive, ensuring that side dishes are replenished promptly and that diners have their meat orders ready. The restaurant's interior is brightly lit with vibrant colors, contributing to its fun and friendly atmosphere.Mr. BBQ meats are amazing and they offer a diverse selection of premium meats, including marinated pork ribs, brisket, and pork belly. In addition they have steamed egg soup and tofu soup which are delicious.They do celebrate birthdays here! The food and the staff were all superb, will definitely be back.

So we gotta do a review about Mr. BBQ just because we met the best server ever...but first....Lets do the food first. My family was there for lunch as soon as it opened (I am aware of the lines specially on the weekends...so be early). We were seated as soon as we got in (which was a plus!) We were then introduced to Nathalia (more about her later) and was asked if we have been here before (we have...last time was my birthday). We opted for the dinner payce (apparently...lunch payce is only on the weekdays) but $37.99 per person is not bad. I did try ordering eggs (as it was on the menu...but to no avail...as they don't have any...like 99% of all california restaurants...can't hate me for trying haha). We ordered the food and this is where Nathalia took our orders without writing it (Me and my wife was confused as she might forget it). Lo and behold...we got all our orders correct haha. That was another plus! Everything we ordered was portioned properly and tasted great...overall very satisfied.Nathalia was very prompt, very cordial and her personality was just beaming with positivity. She is a staff that loves her work and made sure that the patrons were very happy. She also found out that we were filipino (overheard my wife saying the word "ikaw" which means "you" in english while ordering food...) and began talking to us in our tagalog language which we found so endearing. She made us feel like home as she knew things that we used to do (we were talking about street food hahaha) wayyy back in the philippines.We also noticed that she was the same with all the customers on her table and made sure everyone was taken cared of. She was just plain awesome. We thought we were special hahaha (kidding!).. She made every customer feel special which was very important.To do the owner/manager of Mr. BBQ...It was such a pleasure eating here because of the way you guys have selected and trained your staff specially Nathalia. GIVE HER A RAISE...LET HER READ THIS. KEEP THIS GEM OF AN EMPLOYEE AND MAKE SURE YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER. SHE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU GUYS IN THE LONG RUN AND CUSTOMERS WOULD DEFINITELY BE BACK JUST BECAUSE OF HER. I'm pretty sure all your staff are good...but Nathalia is just way up the totem pole:) I always recommend Mr. BBQ to anyone (Meh on Gen...your food and service is waaaaayy better than them) who asks me where to go for korean bbq. To Nathalia...thank you again for that wonderful service and making our day even more special. One of the best KBBQ I've had! While we came in for lunch on a holiday, we were very fortunate we did not have to wait, as I heard sometimes the wait would be hours. The establishment was clean, service was good, and most importantly, the food was great. I am not a pork person, but their thinly sliced pork belly had be requesting more, and more! I also really enjoyed the abundance of bon chons. I wish I had a Mr BBQ at home, too!

Plenty of parking at Mr. BBQ located in Fullerton, CA with a great selections of restaurants to choose from in the area. You are allowed to join the Yelp waitlist to secure your wait time spot, which is appreciated. Restaurant itself is a good large size with many TV screens and it is pretty noise inside. We did the weekday dinner premium all you can eat buffet and it was $37.99/adult. They have the most banchan dishes that I have ever seen/eaten. We enjoyed the pork belly and brisket. Great sides as well such as the spicy tofu stew. They were unfortunately out of steamed egg. Service was good and quick as well for being as busy as they are.

'Follow the crowd' is the most fitting phrase for this establishment. The waitlist is ALWAYS busy on the weekends and on weekday dinners. Be smart and check-in on Yelp for a place in line and be ready to wait an additional 30+ mins after checking in with the host. The place is bumpin, and parking is pretty limited for the amount of crowds this place gets. We went on a Saturday night, checked in at 430 and didn't get seated until 645. We opted for the lower tier of PAYCE which ran for $32.99. The next tier up was $42.99 which would give you access to ordering ribeye, galbi and New York Strip. We're definitely making this a quarterly spot for us and will surely try the next tier up on our next visit.I've been a fan of KBBQ for a while and this place is great .Our server was AMAZING, she was quick and attentive and explained everything properly. They've made it a diligent and easy process of switching the grill tops consistently throughout your meal. Food was bomb, we had 2 rounds and our favorites were the bulgogi, spicy garlic pork butt and the classic Mr BBQ. For the extras we tried their steamed egg and the sundubu. Would probably reorder the sundubu and leave the egg as it was pretty heavy. Also going to add in the fact that the table was full of a dozen banchans and they were all delicious. All of them were also refillable and were great accompaniments to the wide selection of meats!TOTALLY recommend.

Came today for lunch with my bf and for once there was plenty of parking, it was around 2pm. It was great to be sat right away! The beef bulgogi, beef belly and spicy calamari are probably one of our favourites from lunch menu. The steamed egg is also really good, but a little big so we usually share 1. Service was great and everything was coming really quick after ordering.

I love Mr. BBQ! It's all-around a great place to go for kbbq. The wait is can get pretty bad, so I would go early to put your name on the waitlist. The basic menu is honestly all you need. It has brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and what else do you need lol. If you want beef tongue, you can opt for the next level up. I also really like their soju cocktails. There are so many different fruity flavors to choose from and you can mix them as well. They're handmade, but come sealed in a little can which is so cute. Our server was so nice and friendly as well. And the ice cream was really good.

Emily is the best server I have been lucky enough to experience. Attentive, beyond respectful, and just has amazing energy in general. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. The meats Emily recommended surpassed all expectations. Absolutely will be coming back.
