It was many years ago that I was here, so I don't retain much detail. The entrance being up a set of stairs and there being n9 seats offered, only the floor...emphasized some facts about dining here. But most of all, this is where I was first exposed to B'stilla, that amazing pigeon pie.

Absolutely amazing experience! I can't wait to come back.I love the atmosphere here, it truly makes for a unique dining experience. I came here with my husband, but this would be an amazing spot for a group dinner. They have a belly dancer that provides great entertainment. I would come back here for a birthday dinner for sure. Now for the food! It is A LOT. I think the prices here are actually great for how much you get. They are also happy to give you boxes if you can't finish everything. It's coursed out very nicely and feels like an adventure from start to finish. Service is fantastic and they are quick. HIghlights of the meal include the soup, bread, lamb, and the bastilla! Really, I loved everything. The owner even came by to check on us and ask us how our meal was. I will continue to support this biz! Highly recommend.

Prepare to be magically whisked away to another part of the world in this restaurant. I can't say that I have had a lot of Tunisian or Moroccan food, but I feel like this place is a wonderful representation on what it has to offer. The vibe is wonderful - like you are actually in a different part of the world and you are dining in a relaxed setting. The sense of hospitality is chart topping here. I think this place has been around for a very long time - the amount of parking this place has was a tip off, haha. Because it has been around, I feel like this place doesn't get the hype like lots of places opening up in the city. Which is a shame because I feel like this place needs to be experienced. I came here with a group of ex coworkers and this place is great for group dining. We all were on the same page and ordered the Moroccan Feast, which was about $46 per person. This meal included (there were some split choices but this is what we got):-Brik-Salads w/ Mechoui assotment-B'Stilla-Lamb w/ Arthichokes -Couscous w/ Vegetables and Boulettes-Tea and DessertThe meal started with a hand washing ritual and I have to say...everything was just so flavorful and delicious. There wasn't a thing that we had that I wish we replaced and the meal introduced me to some flavor profiles in a new way.A really fantastic meal and experience all around.

Moun of Tunis on Sunset was a great find! We came here without a reservation after searching for couscous restaurants in L.A. and arrived a little earlier than we typically would for dinner so we were the only party for a while. As we arrived, we were immediately greeted, seated, served rose water to wash our hands and introduced to the menu options. The restaurant offers about eight choices of dinner per party (including a Vegetarian) ranging from $28 to $42 per person. Since I had been craving merguez couscous for a while, we ordered the Sunset. That comes with Brik, Salad, Couscous with merguez, and Boulettes. All courses were tasty! The Brik was filled with potatoes and peas, and I loved that it was served hot. It was a large and filling appetizer in my opinion. The salad was colorful and juicy in flavors. The most awaited course for me was the merguez couscous which I believe was good, decent size for two (not a lot of merguez but I did not mind that as we were almost full by then). Dessert and tea were on the house. We did not come during entertainment but I preferred the cozy, quieter evening. Great service, intimate dinner setting in a lovely Tunisian/Morrocan-style decor, and easy parking despite being on Sunset Blvd. Overall, I recommend Moun of Tunis!

We are visiting from New York. This place is absolute magic. From the whimsical North African style decor and immediately comfortable seating to the bountiful and delicious food, everything is wonderful. The service was incredibly kind and attentive, the Arabic music was evocative, and the experience is not to be missed. You begin the meal by having your hands washed with rose water at the table, followed by course after course after course of food cooked with flavor and texture and absolute perfection. The eggplant appetizer was a favorite, the brik was crisp and flaky and perfectly seasoned, the couscous was meltingly buttery. The mint tea (poured from a great height) and cardamom baklava at the end are a real treat. We went on a Tuesday night and were shocked that there was only one other table of diners the whole night. Come to this place, it is awesome in every way. Be prepared for a long leisurely meal and experience !

Amazing service! My grandma is in a wheelchair and she really wanted to join us for a birthday dinner and they went above and beyond to accommodate for her. They even helped me get her to the restroom! The servers were witty and fun and the ambiance was a great group atmosphere. The food was delicious, we had so much leftovers! I highly suggest this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Go once: Yes!Go again: Yes, many, many times! We had been talking about having Moroccan or North African food for some time and wanted to come here earlier in the week. My wife was looking at a few places and she thought Moun of Tunis looked fun. I wholeheartedly agree. We weren't there for the decor though. We were there for the food. And WOW, it did not disappoint! First of all, the food was excellent. Everything was flavorful and delectable. The chicken was slightly dry, but it's entirely forgivable in light of how good absolutely everything else was. I was shocked at how much food comes out. We ordered the namesake, Moun of Tunis. We were hungry, but just the brik could have been its own meal. The couscous was massive - again, enough for it to be its own meal. The lemon chicken was half a chicken, and the b'stilla was phenomenal and large too! The price was more than reasonable when we are able to take home leftovers to feed us for the next couple of days. Honestly, one of the best food experiences I've had in Los Angeles for as long as I've lived here, and I've lived here nearly my entire life.

Lots of fun, food and service is very good. It's been there since 1977, so they have it down to say the least. Prices are reasonable for what is served. You won't go home hungry.Belly dancer was also a bonus and ambiance is unique and also fun.
