Last night, I dined at this charming restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it truly turned out to be a delightful experience. While the entrance was a tad tricky to locate, we were welcomed warmly once we found our way inside. We were seated on a small, covered cozy outdoor patio --perfect for intimate gatherings. Our waiter was an absolute standout: knowledgeable, courteous, and impressively observant. He made sure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. For my appetizer, I ordered the octopus, and I can say without hesitation that it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, it is a dish I would highly recommend. For my main course, I chose the Seabass, which, although not my first pick, received high praise from our waiter. I'm so glad I took his advice! The Seabass was flawlessly cooked and paired beautifully with asparagus and roasted tomatoes. Honestly, I could have enjoyed the Seabass alongside just the tomatoes on their own--they were that good! The rest of my party sampled a variety of dishes, and I must say, they were all impressive:- Spinach Ravioli: 9/10- Polpette (Rigatoni with Meatballs): 8/10- Funghi Pizza (Mushroom): 9/10- Caesar Salad: 9/10For dessert, we indulged in the olive oil cake, which I found quite good, considering I don't usually have a sweet tooth. We had hoped to try the apple cobbler as well, but unfortunately, it had run out for the evening. One aspect that truly enhanced our meal was the excellent wine suggestions from the knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend asking for pairing recommendations if you're unsure what complements your meal.I did notice on the menu that they offer an option for dried pasta or fresh pasta for an additional $3 to $4, which I look forward to trying on my next visit.Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations with impeccable service and a clean environment, though I did find the restroom facilities to be a bit small (single use only). Nonetheless, I will definitely be returning soon to explore more of their delightful offerings, particularly the fresh pasta. If you're looking for a cozy spot for a special occasion or a lovely dinner, I can't recommend this place enough!

Great pizza, great FRESH pasta options, awesome keto style entrees like the Sea Bass and broccolini side! Would definitely come back. Accommodated us on Vday without a reservation. We sat in the cafe, which is a different vibe, and I'm not sure if they don't that all the time, but no wait and great food was worth the unique seating! Server was nice. Pricing is moderate, but portions are good.

Lovely little Italian retaurant tucked away in Encino, although right on Ventura Boulevard. The front room has a bar and probably 4 or 5 small tables. There is an enclosed outdoor area attached which is larger. The ambiance is low lite and quite nice. There menu is small, which I tend to like, and the food is relatively simple but quite tasty. We had the fungi pizza. The crust is thin, crunchy and very good. We also ordered the Pomodoro pasta. It is very simple (just san marzano tomatoes and basil), fresh and delicious. Additionally we orderd the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, which was fiery and scrumptous. Both pastas were cooked perfect al dente. It is close to home and we will be going back.

What a surprisingly wonderful place! The setting is cozy and intimate. The food was comforting and delicious. Service was engaging, attentive and friendly. We sat at a corner table across from the bar and enjoyed the small yet bright, inviting space. We started with the Burrata a Roma. For our entrées we chose the Braised Lamb Shank, Crisped Sea Bass and Carbonara. We then shared an amazing slice of Tiramisu for dessert -- our daughter is still raving about how good it was.Located in a small plaza, parking is limited, and spots are tight. But this won't keep us from coming back.

Ordered the Polpette tonight for delivery and just a warning..... it was super salty! Too salty for me to eat to be honest. The Cesar salad was good! But the pasta and meatballs weren't for me :(

Great pasta and pizza. Ambiance was nice and simple. Patio is also nice and spacious for the small area they're in. The service was friendly and accommodating. Parking is small but we came late on a Saturday night and there was some parking available.
