Moohan Korean BBQ

Food and service - excellent. Went on a Valentine's Day weekend they were able to accommodate us. Good vibe with good music. Lots of options for sides. Parking was easy- they have a parking structure next to it. They validate!

Got a group of friends together for dinner here and loved the experience. The sleek, modern interior makes you feel like you're walking into a vip lounge.We opted for the premium menu; everyone at the table has to choose the same menu, no mix and match of standard and premium. Wish we'd taken more advantage of the vast options; we were too busy catching up with our friends that we didn't get to try much else aside from the crowd favorites (which were still awesome). With their AYCE, you're allowed to place new orders from the tablet on the table every 5 mins. Not only did the premium menu have everything, plus your usual ban chan, but your meal came with access to a buffet that had everything from jap chae, takoyaki, kimchi fried rice, sushi, and more. You could fill up on the buffet alone! There was also a secondary buffet of "basic" proteins like chicken, etc. Everything was delicious and our server was a PRO. She knew the drill and made our eating experience streamlined and enjoyable. We snuck in for Happy Hour which ended at 8PM, and the cocktails were great. Loved the soju flight as well. Park in the Equitable Plaza parking garage and give your server your license plate to get free parking! Otherwise, try your luck and find a meter.

Okay food! Service was not up to level, I think the vibe is not bad. But not too much expectation Parking is validated which is great in this city. Nth need to add, look at my pictures

Took my friend here for her first kbbq experience in LA and it was definitely the right call! To start off, the ambiance is super cute with the low lighting and minimalist decor. You can order sides and drinks through a tablet on your table, but the rest of the items are all self-service. They have an amazing array of buffet food - chow mein, tempura, Korean fried chicken, even sushi, and they were all surprisingly good. For the meat, we got the essentials which included various types of briskets, pork belly, and galbi. The self service lets you choose however many pieces of meat you want so you can try a bit of everything before getting a full plate of anything. Our favorite for the night was the wagyu beef brisket, which had the perfect fat to meat ratio. We also loved the galbi, which was boneless and sliced thinly so they cooked faster on the grill. I would definitely come back for a date night or just a vibey night with friends!

The self-serve bar has full-out entrees working overtime to distract you from the AYCE meat T_T from fried chicken and chow mein to spicy rice cake and baked potatoes, they have it all y'all...and it's good too.. T^T choose your fighter i guesswe got the wagyu AYCE option, and while the other meats were pretty basic, the wagyu was up to par. The service was slow and they seemed too busy to allow themselves to be accommodating. They have private rooms and a bar area as well. This place seems fitting for big groups that require a broader range of options for food and drinks

Parking:I parked at a meter on Wilshire Blvd, it was free parking after a certain time. The restaurant has garage parking that they will vouch for $2. I appreciate that they offer parking, but not that I must pay. 3 stars. Host stand:Host was okay, not much to talk about. Very mid experience at the host stand. I had no wait time and was instantly seated. 3 stars. Server:This restaurant has a worker assigned to your area that will come and replace your cooking plate multiple times during your meal. No words were spoken, but they had a kind and professional demeanor. 4 stars. Food:The food was delicious. I think I ordered at least 10 servings of the short rib and ate every bit of it. So good. The best part, it's all you can eat! One negative thing, they started bringing the meat orders slower towards the end, likely to reduce my eating volume. 5 stars. Bathrooms:They were very clean and everything was stocked. The only negative was they only had hand dryers, but no paper towels. 3 stars. Ambiance:This is a great place for dates, dinner with family, or formal dinner with friends. I would not suggest bringing little kids here. Ideal for parties of 2 to 4 people. The volume was a little loud from the music and the groups of people talking. 4 stars. Overall: The food was amazing, the parking was fine, the volume was a little loud, but I would happily return. (3+3+4+5+3+4)/6= 3.6 stars.

Recently I have two favorite Korean BBQ spots in LA and Moohan has become one of them. I went here with one other person before an event. We were actually going to eat at another Korean BBQ place across the street but saw Moohan instead and decided to check it out. We came on a Sunday for a late lunch and there was no wait. I like that you can make reservations here. They had 4 different menus to choose from, including an option for omakase. We went with their elite menu which brings it to about $50/pp. Pricing was very fair and I liked that the staff helped us choose which menu was best for us. The service was excellent. Our grill kept being changed without us asking. And we were never without meats. A lot of the food items are ordered through their electronic menu. You can choose 4 meat items at a time with a 5 minute wait in between. They also had meats at the self service bar, along with hot and cold items. The self service bar included rice, noodles, eggrolls, fried chicken, and banchan. There was plenty of options. My favorite meats included prime brisket, prime beef belly, jowl, and NY steak. For sides, I enjoyed their spicy buldak ramen and hot stone bimbimbap. But overall I liked the variety and options that was provided. The inside of the restaurant is large and is great for smaller or larger groups. I liked that most of the tables were booth seating and it felt private. The restaurant is located in a busy area so parking can be difficult.

The food was amazing!! Also great service, will definitely be back. The waitress was so attentive and we love every minute of it.

The food was very delicious! The alcoholic beverage was delicious as well. They have a buffet style side dishes and meat area which is very convenient!!
