Monty's Steakhouse

I had dinner at Monty's Steak House recently, and I have to say that it was better than I had anticipated. The welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff set the tone for a wonderful evening as soon as we arrived. It was a bit loud, however it was expected with the Dodgers playing. There's a great selection of steaks on the menu, and I went with the perfectly cooked ribeye. It was perfectly seasoned, really tender, and flavorful. I thought was quite well-prepared. At first I was hesitant on ordering a steak because I'm used to eating at more expensive steakhouses like Mastros. I was amazed when I took my first bite. My husband enjoyed it as well. The sides were just as amazing. The huge onion rings was a perfect complement. I haven't seen onion rings that big in my life. As a delightful finale to our dinner, we also enjoyed a rich sundae for dessert.Our waiter was friendly but not overbearing; she knew a lot about the food and made excellent suggestions considering we had a party of 20 for my husband's aunts birthday.For those who enjoy steak, Monty's Steak House is a treasure. It's a must-visit because of the tasty food, first-rate service, and welcoming ambiance. I am eager to go back!

All around fantastic!!! Passed by this place for years and never knew it existed. I would search for upscale dining in the San Fernando Valley (looking for a nice restaurant) and this place never came up. Was recently invited here to celebrate a birthday and OMG...I've been missing out!!!! This is definitely my new classy, kinda fancy yet chill, upscale, top quality restaurant of choice as far as the S.F. Valley is concerned.The restaurant in huge! Seriously deceiving from the outside. So many rooms/areas as well as outdoor dining. I loved that it is the perfect mixture of classy upscale dining, has a bar with lots of tv's and when you dine in during a Dodger game the atmosphere is even better, and an area with live music (late night on a Saturday during our visit).The service was next level. Our waitress knew the menu so well and had recommendations ready which were completely on point. With a menu of diversity, there were several items I was eager to try. On top of that, there was a special Rosh Hashanah Dinner with fabulous menu options. To experience as many dishes as possible, they offer a half portion of Chicken Parmesan which we were able to share as an appetizer. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! One of the best i've every had and it was huge!!!! For the main course, I had to order off the holiday menu since it's short lived. Once again...phenomenal! Brisket served with latkes and green beans tasted homemade. The ambiance is wonderful. It does get a little loud inside. Parking is valet.

I savored an extraordinary experience at Monty's Steakhouse today, enchanted by its timeless supper club elegance. Our server, Rob, displayed unwavering kindness and proficiency regarding the restaurant. We began with irresistible sourdough bread, butter, and a cherished heirloom recipe, tomato relish, to pair with our bread and steaks. The petite fillet, medium rare, impressed with its impeccable cooking and seasoning, accompanied by asparagus and sumptuous au gratin potatoes, redolent with garlic. Definitely a go to place for steaks!

If you want a night with not only a great ambience but amazing food and company. This is your place. Family and party Friendly.

When you first walk it's very interesting the decor but I loved it! Chase was our server and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the restaurants history and about the food. He made some amazing recommendations! Thankfully we listened to him about a lot of what he had recommended. The shrimp scampi was phenomenal. The shrimp were huge, so juicy and delicious especially with the shrimp scampi sauce. The fillet was so tender. The brussels sprouts were so crispy and delicious. The crème brûlée was one of the best crème brûlée I've ever had in my life!! Thank you to chase for the amazing hospitality and for the amazing food!!

We have been diners for years. This evening was sub par. We have become used to the inflated prices, however , with that came a certain level of service. Tonight was a disappointment. Food was thrown at us. The entrees were not explained properly as far as what was included which caused over ordering of unnecessary sides. Overall the dining experience was not as expected. It saddens me to say this about a staple in the neighborhood.

Food is always great here!! The halibut last night was perfectly cooked! They have 1 of the best meatballs here. Ambience is great with dimmed romantic lighting. Servers are always nice and accommodating!

This steakhouse offers an outstanding dining experience. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with comfortable seating and rustic decor that immediately set the tone for a great meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and made us feel like VIPs. We tried the New York strip, and it was hands down the best steak we've ever had. It had a perfect char on the outside and was wonderfully juicy inside. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, and the sautéed spinach was a great complement. An all-around fantastic experience, we'll definitely return!

Service was really wonderful. I love the ambiance. Portions are large. This was my second time here and I really wanted to love it unfortunately the steak and ribs were just not my favorite.

Matt and Orlando the managers made sure we were wonderfully taken care of and our waitress Marissa was out of this world!
