I noticed a line at this spot and decided to give it a try, thinking it must be popular. Despite the line, the wait wasn't too long, and my food was ready pretty quickly. I ordered the beef shawarma wrap and french fries, while my friend chose the beef shawarma plate. The portions were decent, and everything was fresh, but I felt the food lacked some flavor. The shawarma could use more seasoning or spices to really bring out its potential. Especially the sauce, I felt it was bland.

3.75 starsUpdate to my review from many years ago; good to see still the same experience albeit thanks to inflation a bit more $$ than I remembered.Had the gyro, which is my favorite choice here, flavorful and fresh tasting ingredients although the meat seemed a bit saltier than I remembered. The ladies here are still all business except this time there was one that actually did smile!

Do NOT come here. They were out of almost everything! I ordered the beef plate and asked for a side of tahini sauce and the lady looked at me crazy asking why I would want a tahini sauce with my meal. Excuse me?!! Are you serious?! She proceeded to say "i dont know why you would want that sauce it doesnt go with that meal" who are you to tell me what to not get, i want the sauce! Anyway.. I started reading yelp reviews and read 4 people got food poisoning. When i got my food, i ate one piece of beef and was done, now im paranoid. I hope I don't get sick!!!

This has been my go to place forever! They make the best tabouli and hummus and not to mention the chicken skewer. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Everything tasted really fresh, light and delicious. My teen daughter who is a very picky eater, said that she will never eat chicken or (spicy) hummus anywhere else ever again.

Great place for Mediterranean food/kabobs. The food quality is definitely worth it for the price you pay. You pick an entree and also side dishes. Generous portions. Perfect for sharing. For drinks, they have their own bottled water. The women behind the counter do a wonderful job preparing the food and serving you. This time, I went in the morning around 10am. We ordered #2 which is lamb and got couscous and tabbouleh for side dishes. Come in the morning before 11am, if you prefer it not too crowded.

Not the best and there are better options in the area. Also should be using gloves when touching food.

Got food poisoning. I threw up after few hours of having gyro wrap. The food was uncooked. The way they prepare food looks dirty. Don't come here.

The ladies that cook and work at this place, and have done for decades, rain or shine, ARE INCREDIBLE. The quality and freshness of the food is always excellent. The Lebanese chef lady is out of this world talented, and the women who stand for hours at a time always greet you with kindness. Love it!

Urging the black community to avoid Moishe's stall at the Grove in response to racists practices, particularly on Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday." I am an older black man who wanted to have a nice day at the Grove with my girlfriend. While waiting in line to place my order, I turned to ask my date for her choice. Another woman cut in front of me and began ordering. When I pointed out that I was already in line, the owner stated that the woman would be served first. This racial treatment was uncomfortable and took some of the fun out of the day. No one needs to be treated like that. Instead of receiving an apology, I was met with a bad attitude. I understand that this is often the norm for the treatment for people of color, but I refuse to support such racism. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants at the Grove. My date and I were treated to wonderful service and food at Du Par's.A tribute to Martin Luther King and his fight against racism was staged less than 50 yards from the stall. Maybe the owner's of Moishe's should visit the exhibit
