In a sea of ayce kbbq that's compromised, there is Morangak that is a true representation of what Korean cuisine is. I wish everyone can experience Korean food like this as there is such attention To detail in every banchan side dish to the presentation of the meat, the service in cooking it's just so well done. The meat quality is simply on another level, where a lot of restaurants may use buzzwords like wagyu or dry aged, you don't need any of that here, everything is marbled to the high heavens. Our favorite was the chadol (sliced brisket) and the kkot sal, and the naengmyun, but everything else from the other cuts to each banchan was perfect. I hope everyone gets to try this food , especially non Koreans as it shows what true korean food is, so happy they are in Fullerton.

Food? Great!Service? A little bit of wait, but the server was really friendly. Ambience? Hmmm, the hall was too noisy and i can hardly hear the conversation we were having at my own table.

THE BEST SOUFFLÉ EGG I HAVE EVER HAD! ALSO THE BEST SERVICE FROM SOME NICE MAN!!! (Wish I got his name) I am honestly never on this side of town, but since I had a Fullerton district conference to go to, I decided to look up the best Korean bbq near. Service: 5/5 The man who took our order was the most kind man I've ever come across in a restaurant, and sometimes that means more than the food! He was soft spoken, super attentive, and really trying to give us the best service he could possibly give us,l. Food: 3.5/5 I feel as if I had the best of the best in Koreatown; so to be FAIR-it is extremely hard to beat it. I feel like this food is good, not great. We orders the Combo: A. It comes with pork belly, and brisket. I prefer a pork jowl or idk something else. These two cuts just weren't exactly for me. Next: The sides.......Ahhh. They lacked...I didn't really seem to like any of them. THE EGG SOUFFLÉ was a 10! The best part of the meal. It was light, buttery, and whipped? Haha. I'm not sure but it was freakin delicious. Price: 4/5 It was definitely on the cheaper side (most combos in koreatown are $80-90.00) but of course the sides and cuts did seem a little on the cheaper side. You get what you pay for, right? ALL AROUND: 4/5I would come back again simply for the egg soufflé, it was that good/ memorable. I would not go out of my way, but I definitely would go back. If you're near- definitely give it a try!

Waiting in line here, instead of waiting in line at the OG Garden Grove location, I wondered if it was all worth it.It is. The mul and bibim naengmyun are as good as ever and the kbbq combo with all the well-prepared sides are delicious and warrant the hour wait (at 5pm on Saturday).Marginally closer for us, this location is newer, bigger and as good as, if not better, than GG.

This location just opened up nearby and its been on my list to try! This is not AYCE kbbq, but highly recommend choosing a combo set to try the meats and regular dishes. I came on a Sunday for lunch and it was just about a 15 minute wait which was not bad at all.I loved all the food here and the experience! We ordered the beef combo to share and added a small cold noodle dish, which was so good paired with the meats, definitely a must-try!The banchan side dishes were all fresh and unique like (broccoli and blueberry yogurt) and I really appreciated that the servers handle the grilling for you. Sometimes it's nice to just sit back and not have to worry about cooking the meats yourself. The marinated short ribs were the highlight for me paired with the cold noodles, but I was also impressed with the tofu soup had a really good seafood flavor. Both were standout dishes that I'd absolutely order again. Everything was all delicious and high quality and would definitely be back soon!

Korean approved Obviously go in advance because you should expect a wait. I have never tried the garden grove location, so I can't really compare the two but this one was great! Definitely brand new interior, I love how it looks! The meat quality was top tier, and I loved the banchan selection. It included some of my favs and also some ones you don't see often like the beans! Couldn't ask for much more, highly recommend !

Its our annual event to visit Morangak but to find out the original locations closes on Mondays. Finding out they just opened 2nd location and open on Mondays! It was nearby and viola, here we are. It's new... very new. At the time of visit, this location has been open for less than a week. For lunch, still had long wait. Over all, it was good as expected. Food was fresh, plenty. Very clean and new. Ambience was good too. Will repeat!

we normally go to the Garden Grove location, but decided to give this location a try. While I am a huge Mo Ran Gak fan, I probably won't return to this location. The wait wasn't bad, but the service was... weird here? Normally I'm used to the servers cooking for us, which they did here but it seemed like they forgot about us for a while to the point where our grill was burning so bad. We had to wave someone down to help us. But overall, the quality of the meats were still great.

We came during their grand opening week as a party of three! We beat the dinner rush and only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. As a girl with a peanut/tree nut allergy, I was well accommodated! My friend made sure to tell staff and our servers no nuts and no sesame, and they portioned everything for me separately and made sure there was so cross contamination. Usually when I go out to eat, I just accept my fate and I'll deal with the hives and allergic reactions myself, but this restaurant put the extra effort to make sure that I had nothing to worry about. Thank you to our servers who also alerted other staff of my allergy and made sure that there was no sesame/nuts in any of my food. As a former food service worker, I know the communication and extra effort that goes into serving guests with allergies and I do appreciate it! 100/10 service and food, thank you!

Hands down my favorite kbbq spot. Totally worth the wait. They have a yelp waitlist so it felt very organized. The meat quality is excellent and there's a wide selection of different pork and beef cuts. We ordered combo B, which was more than enough for three people. It included non-marinated brisket, black pork belly, boneless short rib and a side of soybean paste stew (or tofu soup option) and steamed egg. Nice variety of banchan, rice paper, and salad are included. We ordered the naengmyeong (cold, buckwheat noodle in beef broth) which was super refreshing to end the meal. This is what they are know for so it is a must try! They do not skimp on the portions here and service was top-notch. We were here to celebrate a birthday and the staff was so accommodating, they even let us bring in our own cake to cut after the meal.A restaurant is very clean with modern decor. Parking can be busy because this is a popular spot. Will back soon!
