Miya Sushi

Finest sushi place I've been to in California. I'm embarrassed that I haven't reviewed it before now. Not overly trendy, thank God, extremely peaceful spot, and the service just plain doesn't get any better. Satoshi is a master of his craft. Huge recommend.

So sad when new owners take owner, new owners are a Mongolian couple very nice, husband is sushi chef and wife is hostess just it's not the same. Sonya is very nice just the sushi cuts for this cost are the equivalent to Jinya all you can eat down the street, not the same big cuts that Toshi would provide. Plus I tried a Sean Roll and each bite fell apart as I picked it up! Sure items to start like the baked green mussels were delicious just not the Sushi, after spending $100 I won't return...

I've been eating here for over 25 years!! An absolutely incredible feat that they have been in business this long and it's because it's a family business and they take pride and care about their quality and customers. Bravo Toshi!! Albacore garlic roll, Sean Roll, and all of the kitchen items are excellent. Fresh sushi and best hand rolls around.

We love this place! One of our favorites in the neighborhood. Very cute and welcoming. The food is always fresh and delicious. Top notch authentic sushi! The chicken or salmon teriyaki is also a favorite.

Everything about this place is 10/10. My water cup was always full. The food was 10/10. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. It's a small location and very private and when you walk in, you feel like you're transported to Japan. Highly recommend.

Good place to get a casual and non - complicated meal. They have an easy menu. Affordable food too. Customer service is up to par. I even kid the server - one man band and he agreed with me. He is doing what 3 people can. The place is small and it was busy. But we were able to be seated right away. My daughter and I both ordered the #6 - Chicken Katsu with California Roll. It came with miso soup, rice and salad. We couldn't finish it so we have to take home half of it. We will definitely come back.

If your looking for truly authentic Japanese sushi this is the place. It's tiny but everything it always super fresh and delicious. They only have one sushi chef & one server at a time and they do tend to have a lot of people picking up so make sure you have time and maybe make a reservation.

wow!!! amazing food. my server was a nice young man named simon. he was a great server and makes excellent small talk. wouldnt even accept the tip.
