I was talking to a friend and telling them that I was craving SUSHI! They recommended Minori Japanese Restaurant so we planned on meeting for lunch! This spot is on Robertson Boulevard near Pico and it is very chill.Greeted by one friendly waitress/hostess and sat immediately. The menu had great traditional and hip Los Angeles sushi options. As well as lunch specials, salads and sashimi. I ordered the lunch special that included a small salad, miso soup and 6 pieces of sushi with my iced tea.Great service, speedy and decorative food presentation. Delicious food! The next time I go...I'll definitely will go for happy hour!

Stopped by for lunch, decided to get the Chirashi lunch special ($19). Came with 9 pieces of fish + ebi + tamago. The fish was okay, about what you expect for the price. There was a decent amount of rice. The bowl included miso soup and salad. The salad was so-so. Overall it was a quick lunch, no complaints with reasonable fish for the price.

2.5 stars I rounded it to 3 ....was very disappointed to pay $16 for a Lunch Box with salmon teriyaki and to get a very tiny portion of salmon and rice. The service was very slow, there was one server and one sushi chef despite only two tables being served. It took us over 20 minutes to get a glass of water as I had to flag down the server to place an order. It made me sad the ambiance felt like what once was a vibrant place lost its pizzaz. Free parking in the back. The server was friendly and it made me upset to give them this rating but there are other sushi places that are much more generous with their portions so I was disappointed.

Our number 1 spot for sushi! There are a few sushi place in this area but minori is definitely the best! We mostly order pick up and the food is always ready right away! Recently, I dined in with my two daughters (5 and 3 years old), and the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly sweet and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. They even surprised my girls with a complimentary treat, which absolutely made their day. Now they can't wait to visit again!

I used to walk by here alot in the 90s and finally tried it out. I had an Asahi beer, Poke bowl, spyder roll and saba(mackerel)sushi costing me $50 total. It was very tasty and filling. The spyder roll was larger than at most sushi restaurants.Service was also fast but a negative is the Owner lady was rushing me to leave. There were only a few other customers and I wasn't there long. The other major negative was for an expensive sushi restaurant(bordering Beverly Hills)the interior and furniture is very drab and rundown. The place needs a major overhaul and interior update.Recommended sushi restaurant with the above qualifications.

I adore Minori! It's the perfect neighborhood sushi spot. The staff are so sweet and the ambiance is so quaint. The price point is amazing too for the quality you're getting. Definitely check them out if you're in the area, or need takeout!

Just north of Pico on Robertson, Minori sits quietly in a corner to an alley where you can find parking at the back. There is not much to the restaurant- it' actually feels a bit run down and old but it's clean and is open all day, so that makes it convenient. They have a big menu - from classic simple sushi/sashimi to fancy combination rolls. Not cheap but as good sushi goes, well priced. Their specialty rolls are good too and they've got ramens and tempura. Pretty much everything you can think of.We ordered a lot - what stood out most for me was the Spicy Tuna Crackers - very good. The Mango paradise roll was creative and unique. Their classic fatty yellow tail sushi was the best, generously cut and with just the amount of rice - loved it. Everything else was fine.....though with everything on their menu, next time, I'd skip the shrimp/vegetable tempura appetizer - they may have better things.Service was friendly, quick and attentive. All in all, a really good Robertson neighborhood find.

Really solid casual sushi spot for dine-in or takeout. I went for a weekday lunch and it was pretty empty. Service was great and the food came out quickly. The lunch specials are quite a good deal for how much food you get. Solid sushi rolls and the tempura was delicious. Highly recommend for your next sushi craving when you don't want to spend a ton of money.

I went in with a twenty dollar debit card which they processed as a credit card repeatedly, claiming I was fraudulent so I paid with cash. I had ordered an eel dish which tasted okay but it was kind of clear it was microwaved and the real orchid on the food did not take away the rude and threatening service. I would not recommend this place. There are much better sushi places on Robertson Boulevard or Pico Boulevard. This is actually a negative star rating.

I've ordered from Minori multiple times for takeout and the sushi has always been excellent. Fresh and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be ordering again.
