Hidden gem for sure. It was our first time eating here and I have to say everything we ordered was extremely delicious. The chicken showerma wrap was out of this world, my sister got hers on the French role and it was equally amazing. The fries were crispy and delicious, and had none of that yucky oil taste that lingers after you eat it. We even got a complimentary mint tea and baklava for I'm assuming being a first time customer which was extremely kind of them. Overall this place is a must try and we will be returning for sure next time we're in town.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great middle eastern eats in a hidden part of downtown LA. While wandering around DTLA we spotted an interesting area called St Vincent's Court, a movie set-style European village built back in the 1950s in the middle of the Jewelry District. Originally it used to have more Italian businesses, but now it's primarily Middle Eastern. We strolled all the way to where the street ended, and spotted Mima's. An elderly gentleman who was dining outside on their patio saw us looking at the menu and told us they had a lot of vegetarian options (did we look that obvious? lol), so we decided to check them out. The atmosphere was humble but pleasant--definitely felt like a family establishment. We weren't super-hungry so decided to share a falafel plate, which was very good! The crispy-tender falafels were served with ultra-smooth hummus and tahini, pickled onions, and pita bread that was thinner and chewier than we were used to, but still good. The service was friendly and prices reasonable. The only offered bottled water, though, which seemed kind of weird, but not a dealbreaker. Would be down to check them out again the next time we're in the area.

Amazing authentic Mediterranean food (Armenian). Side of delicious green olives, babaganoush, Greek salad with feta. All had incredible spices. 2 people had the chicken kabob with side salad and loved it. Pita bread on the side. A hidden gem. Also delicious grapes leaves. Different spices than Greek grape leaves

We love love love this place! We were staying at La Perla nearby and walked here twice to get our lunch! The restaurant is a mom and pop place, tucked inside St. Vincent's square. The owners are so nice and they make the food fresh when you order it. We got the chicken kabob plate both times, and their garlic mayo and the pita/naan bread was soooo delicious! Then, their hummus was one of the best we ever had!!!! I highly highly recommend this place for you to try if you're ever in the area or in downtown. I know there are quite a few Mediterranean places inside St. Vincent square but this one is the BEST!!!!

Mimas Mediterranean is a great little Resturant located in the historic St. Vincent Alley. I have been ordering from them for a few years now. There are many Middle Eastern and Lebanese style restaurants that deliver all around the jewelry district, but Mimas in my opinion stands out! They are my go to place when I am craving grilled kebabs. First of all, you can try anything on their menu and you will not be disappointed. I usually order the kebab trio or the Lule and Chicken kebab combo. It comes with their unique version of hammus, salad, rice and fresh pita bread. Prices are reasonable, food portions are perfect and delivery time at the Resturant or nearby is a fair. Sometimes I will invite a client, family member or colleague to lunch when I am available and we will enjoy eating at the Resturant where we can dine in their patio, facing the famous and historic St. Vincent Alley. If you happen to be shopping at the Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry district or shopping districts like the Flower Mart or Clothing Mart and your in the mood for Middle Eastern food, then look no further, Mimas Mediterranean will not disappoint. Attached are photos of the usual items myself and my guests have ordered.

The restaurant is small and kinda dark and you wouldn't at first think the food is good. But the food is SO good. Best on Vincent's Court. Service is great, everyone is so nice.

What a hidden gem in St. Vincent Ct.! A group of us were visiting DTLA & I told them I read about this little alley called St. Vincent Ct. & thought it would be fun to see it, which we really enjoyed. We decided to have lunch at Mima's & everyone loved it! There were 12 of us & they moved tables around so we could sit together outside. Our server Patti gave us great service. It's a lot of work taking care of a large group but she was awesome. I believe it was the owner/manager who came out to check on us. We all told him the food & service was great! Prices are very reasonable. If we're ever in the area we'll definitely be back.
