I gotta preface this by saying that I was only here for an event, so we booked the whole back end and private room. But, service was great and the food that was served was good too. They were very accommodating with requests and is definitely book them again.

I don't go out to lunch often, but a few coworkers have been here a couple times and talk to me into going. I have to say it was pretty good.A lot of people are food snobs and want 'authentic' only, but I for one like when new generation of chefs create a fusion of styles that they've grown up with to create new flavors. The ambience can vary depending on what time of day you're in there, but it's nice and, if like myself, you were there for lunch with colleagues it was a good time with good food.

I walked in and there was one table of 4 and a man at the end of the restaurant who had some papers who I assumed was the manager. As I was sat, the table of 4 was packing up. Then it was just me. No one else.I ordered the chicken tikka masala, naaan and a Diet Pepsi. He also brought me a glass of water, which later proved to be very helpful bc I never saw my waiter again. The naan was good and you get an entire large peice of naan sliced into 4 pieces. Others said they advertised the chicken tikka as all white meat. I can't say bc I do not remember, but it wasn't all white meat, and you can tell bc the textures of the meat are different. Thigh has more fat and usually stays more moist, whereas breast can get a bit stringy.I finished my soda and it was never refilled. Maybe they sell you cans of soda. In fact, the guy never came back over to check on me, ask how it was. He brought me a carafe of water right as I finished my meal, which is just when you want additional water. And again, I'm the only person at the restaurant. The guy isn't busy, I can hear him talking to the chef or someone else back there. I'm not sure this place is gonna make it.

This place is close to my work. I love the food. I'd like to do family style. I love any of their sauces with paneer. Their masala tea often comes with cookies, but not always. They always seem to have space. Since the pandemic, many of the downtown restaurants have not fully recovered. I do like supporting this place and I enjoy their food. I go here probably once every two or three weeks. I don't really need parking as I walk there. I hope it stays open. It's a very large location that would be easy for parties.

My coworker's and I decided to try this new Indian restaurant for lunch, which used to be the restaurant Public School. We ordered the lentils, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, samosas, paneer kati roll, mango lassis, rice, garlic naan. All the savory dishes were well seasoned and flavorful. I just wish they had more meat in the portions, which is why I am knocking off a star. I had to really search for meat in the bowls of tikka masala and butter chicken. The mango lassi yummy. We left full and happy. I would say to give this place a try.

I was bummed to hear that Public School closed but after coming here, I'm thrilled that such a great spot took Public School's space. I can't remember the server's name but be was excellent!! The menu has a bunch of great options and everything we are was delicious!! Their butter naan was one of the most enjoyable naans I've had in a while plus if you dip it in the paneer butter masala, you won't be disappointed!! The Kathi Roll was also really good and even though it's in the small bites section, I would say it's a great portion. We went when it had recently opened so they had not received their liquor license yet which means I need to go back and try their cocktails. They did have a pretty good selection of wines and beers-- their sauv blanc was great and I'm not particularly a fan of Sauvignon Blanc. The place is quite spacious so it's great for company lunches but the dim lighting makes it nice for a relaxed dinner too. Great price point on the food and fantastic flavors!

The food is really so amazing and it's very flavorful even the staff is really good and special thanks to Chef Sudhir for the best chicken biryani and the chilli chicken was the best Indian food i ever ate .

This new place with the strange-sounding name (our bartender told us that "Miirch" means spices) offers excellent Indian cuisine and a good happy hour. I ordered the chole, a vegetarian dish with chickpeas, at the top level of heat and was rewarded with a rich flavor that put beads of sweat on my forehead. Paneer ka khaas consisted of generous cubes of paneer marinated in yogurt and spices and served with sliced peppers. We enjoyed happy hour specials on Indian-style pizza topped with cubes of chicken, as well as potato pancake sandwiches that were on the thick side. Friendly bartender put the football game on the TV and took good care of us. She told us that draft beer is coming soon (cans and bottles only at the time of our visit). Easy walk from the Westin Bonaventure hotel.

The food and the service were excellent. I will definitely be coming back in the near future with friends and clients.

So disappointed I paid $22 (chicken tikka) and $28 (salmon) for this?!! Look at the QUANTITY. I don't find this price and quantity even in a Michelin starred restaurants.I thought considering the price, we will get a LOT of it. But this is not even worth $12.SO DISAPPOINTING.
