I came here with my mom after I picked her up from her dental appt. She chose this place because she had wanted soft noodles, nothing spicy or hard from her extraction today. This place is across the street from the Galleria market. Parking lot is pretty small and tight, but I was lucky to find one to the side corner so that was great, and even though the place was packed, we got seated right away as we entered, another plus!! We looked at the menu and noticed a huge bowl of noodles the lady was eating next to us. Mom asked her what she was eating and she said it was the noodles with the anchovy broth with clams. Mom then said to just share the big bowl because she can only eat so much and her novocane didn't wear off, so she said she had a funny taste in her mouth and couldn't chew very well. As soon as the lady brought us a warm tea and 2 side dishes we ordered the same dish as the lady next to us, I've decided to cut the radish and kimchi into smaller bite sizes and easier to eat for mom. There were tongs and scissors to cut the food which came in handy, another plus. Mom enjoyed her noodles and she said she was well stuffed after she finished her bowl. I'd say it was a hearty bowl, great taste, not salty at all, which was another plus!! And the ladies were nice to check up and ask if we had needed anything, great service. We both finished our bowls and then Mom said it was well worth it and had a great price for us to share. We had a great dining experience here for the first time and we highly recommend it.Thanks Miari Noodle House team for the great service today!!

If you're looking for a mom and pop restaurant, this is the one. KTown has so many great restaurants and Miari is one of them. I got to meet the owners, a lovely older couple, and they were just the sweetest! When we arrived, this spot was busy. Seems like a local fave.I know it may not be soup weather yet, but that didn't stop me from ordering them. I tried the claim noodle soup, beef brisket soup, and pork rib with kimchi stew. The noodles in the clam soup had a nice texture. They felt homemade. Soft chew and it went perfect with the soup. Loved the beef brisket with its vermicelli noodles and the pork ribs were so tender. We also tried the boiled dumpling and kimchi pancake. The mandu was delicious and I loved their kimchi pancake. We paired our hearty meal with a bottle of makgeoli.

The best restaurant in LA that comes to mind when you think of Korean-style raw clam kalguksu. The clams are very fresh and the broth is delicious, so it's a restaurant I always think of. Try Korean-style wheat noodles. They started out in Busan as a replacement for the famous Korean cold noodles, and now they are one of Korea's national foods. All the food prepared by the kitchen lady at this restaurant is very delicious. One thing that is a bit disappointing is that the amount of food is decreasing and the price is increasing.... In Korea, the food that is very cheap to eat is kalguksu... It's contradictory that the price of all Korean food is 3-4 times more expensive than in Korea. If you tip a little, the back of your head will be itchy when you leave.~Still, I always want to come back to this restaurant.

Sujebi is what you're here for. If you like chewy Hand Pulled Noodles, you'll love hand pulled dough. The texture is chewy firm yet soft. Not like mochi, more like al dente pasta. My second favorite spot aside from Hangari Kalguksu, but this place is much easier to find parking.

You can send me NOODS anytime if it's from @miarinoodlehouse This ahjumma/ahjussi-approved spot in Koreatown is known for their generous portions of clam kalguksu (knife cut noodles) and traditional Korean noodle soups. I definitely agree that their spicy seafood kalguksu is much better than other competitors in Koreatown (cough, Hangari Kalguksu), but don't sleep on their other dishes, such as their kimchi pancake, bibimbap, cold noodles, and traditional Korean stews! Everything is made in-house and served with lots of love, down to even their Banchan. The servers were all so friendly and sweet, providing excellent table service by explaining every dish, cutting up the food and packaging any leftovers into to-go containers. Definitely check out this hidden gem if you're in the Koreatown area, and support a small, well-deserving Korean-owned business! Featured here: spicy seafood kalguksu kimchi pancake braised crab

For 3 of us we ordered:Seafood Kalguksu - Decent. We had Kalguksu earlier this year when we went to Seoul's Myeongdong Kyoja. THAT place was delicious and set really high expectations. This reminded me of how badly I want to find something like that back home, with the ground meat and dumplings. Now I'll be on a quest.Cold noodle - First time ever trying this! It was good, the noodles caught me off guard though. They were a lot chewier than I was expecting and almost choked a couple times. May try this again at other locations on a hot summer day. I don't usually eat cold soups.Kimchi Pancake - I usually get seafood pancake instead, which I'm used to being crispier, but I guess since this uses kimchi, it's not meant to be crispy. In any case, this was still delicious, and a decent sized portion. The sauce that came with it was delicious too. Not sure what was in it but I think she poured mustard in it.Boiled Ox Head slices - Solid. Since it was boiled it didn't really have flavor (probably intentional) but dipped it in salt and pepper, or the kimchi pancake sauce. Kinda pricey! And the sides! That Kimchi was delicious!

Miari is one of those traditional and authentic Korean diners staffed by ajummas and grandmas. While it's known as a noodle shop it offers many other traditional dishes. The cold noodles with wheat noodles (milyeon) is one of my favorites and I can eat it all day. The wheat noodles are thin and super chewy. The sliced meat dishes, such as the ox knee platter are also delicious. It is cooked and served with a lot of chives. The pork ribs with ripe kimchi casserole is also on point. I particularly like the soft cartilage tips on the ribs. Overall it's a great place for comfort food.

Amenities:Private parking lot with amble spotsFood:The pull dough morsels with kimchi, clam soup is amazing and hot. I love the chewy texture of the dough morsels. The soup is super healthy 5/5 Seasoned acorn jelly salad is another healthy option. Combining with hot soup creates a perfect pair of cold and hot. Since the soup was super hot, I added the cool salad with my dough morsels to create a perfect combination and warming taste. 5/5Service:Senior staff were adorable and nice. The food was served quickly. I have no complaint
