The service here was amazing! super friendly staff and the cutest ambiance! The menu was so tempting that it was hard to choose, so we decided to try a little bit of everything. I got the vodka rigatoni pasta with added burrata, and WOW. I don't usually go for pasta, but this dish completely won me over, the sauce was incredibly flavorful, creamy, and perfectly cheesy. The pasta itself was clearly handmade and high-quality.My second favorite was the carbonara. SO creamy, with the perfect touch of egg. Pure comfort. The margherita pizza was also fantastic, the dough was fresh, the crust was crisp, and while it was on the thinner side, I could've devoured a whole one myself. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, which had the perfect fudgey center, and the tiramisu, which was equally satisfying. The overall price wasn't bad considering how much we ordered. Definitely recommend everything was a hit!

Me and my girlfriend went for a Sunday brunch and left EXTREMELY disappointed. After hearing so much about this place I was excited to go, I love a good brunch spot and was ready to add this to my list. Everything we got: a vanilla latte, iced black coffee, mama's omelet, and the breakfast burrito. For starters the coffee was a disaster... everything is from a coffee concentrate "syrup" and just tasted like burnt, days old watered down nasty coffee... so much so it absolutely wrecked my stomach right as my food arrived, my girlfriends vanilla latte w/ oat milk was a tragic experience... oat milk looked watery and thin, same horrible concentrate and not even their vanilla syrup could bring some flavor to it. 0/10 on drinks.Moving to the food, everything was so bland... the omelette was nothing special at all, unseasoned eggs, little to nothing in the actual omelette, the only flavor I got was from the few and far in between pieces of bacon, the breakfast potato's again were unsalted and just boring. Mind you i wouldn't minded adding some salt but salt shakers, pepper, and hot sauce was all absent from the table so no shot there. My girlfriend's breakfast burrito was the same story, it was mainly just a fat egg wrapped in a tortilla with a single piece of bacon stuck in there. The chorizo was no where to be found except maybe in the color of the egg so in my experience that shows they just cooked the egg in the fat, and even in doing that seemed to kill all flavor from it. The side of salsa was a depressing sight, seemed like they just blended up a tomato and added so salt and called it a day. Service was sub par. It didn't help our server had no idea about half the sides for instance what kind of dressing they have for a side salad. The restaurant was clean and had a good vibe to it I can see why people go here for a happy hour, I have nothing to speak about on that because we will not be returning after that dismal brunch experience. A lot better places at the grove (which is close by) for brunch.

Stopped by a Monday night for happy hour at 4:30pm. It was relatively empty but did get quite busy around 7:30 so I would recommend a reservation! We ordered the fries, garlic bread, Brussel sprouts, pizza, and the Amalfi spritz mocktail. Food was all off the happy hour menu and everything was under $15 which was nice. Detailed food review below:Fries: too thin (thinner than McDonald's). Not as crispy as in n out but was both simultaneously crispy and limp at the same time which was weird Garlic bread: was def a fan of the crispy crust and soft bread! It had just a light garlic taste. Only has two slices so for $5 it was kind of expensive. Brussel sprouts: nice savory flavor - not over seasoned. It did feel like there were only five full sprouts with a lot of leaf pieces. Would not recommend getting it with pancetta as it gets too salty Pizza: yowza this pepperoni pizza was 80% cheese and 20% crust. On top of that, the cheese was kind of cold so it wasn't very appetizing. The crust was nice though: crispy on the outside with a chewy base Mocktail: $14 mocktail wasn't too terrible. It was kinda bitter but beautiful to take pics of For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu, which was way too creamy and didn't have much of the tiramisu taste, and the chocolate cake, which was definitely the star! Overall, nice vibes inside with great service! Don't think I'll be back but maybe I can go across the street and try the brunch spot :p.Street parking was easy but they don't allow parking after 6pm. You can either do meter or park a bit further away.

I've heard great things about this restaurant. What intrigued me is the story behind this restaurant and their other restaurant, Met Her At A Bar. I decided to finally have dinner here one night and it was one of the great decisions I've made in a while. The restaurant is beautiful, elegant, modern with an antique vibe with all the beautiful Lemon decor. We were seated immediately and ordered cocktails to start. The bar btw is beautiful but, back to the food. I ordered the Fettuccine Pasta with Broccolini and Chicken. The handmade pasta is very light and the flavor profile of the Pesto with the veggies and chicken were absolutely delicious. Normally, I can't eat an entire plate of pasta but, I did here. I imagine it has to do with the fresh handmade pasta. Chefs kiss for sure! My girlfriend ordered the Vodka pasta with Scallops which she devoured and claimed to want another bowl! It was that good. We really enjoyed our time here and were sad to go. If you're in the area, you definitely have to check this place out.

Met him at a bar is such a cute spot for date night or to have dinner with friends! I came here during Dine LA and the food was great! The rigatoni vodka had a lot of flavor and I highly recommend adding the burrata to the bruschetta for $6. Service was very friendly and fast! Parking is either street parking or we found a lot for $6 flat rate a few blocks away.

Have heard about this restaurant for a while, and finally came here for a girl's night during LA restaurant week! I thought that the restaurant week deal was a great deal (I got the calamari, bolognese, and chocolate torte all for $55), and all the food was extremely solid and delicious. The calamari was super crispy and seasoned well, the pasta very fresh, and the chocolate cake paired perfectly with the vanilla ice cream it was served with- I was absolutely stuffed by the end of this meal. I do wish that there had been some non-pasta options on the restaurant week menu without an additional charge. The ambiance was wonderful for our night out, we dressed up a little and the restaurant decor was so cute inside. Our server was also amazing and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great meal :) Very curious to try Met Her At a Bar's brunch menu sometime!

I recently came here for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful night. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was cozy. The cocktails were delicious (try to Sassy Marguavita) and the food was delicious. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and the heirloom tomato salad was my favorite.I would recommend this place for a cute date night or dinner with close friends. My only complaint is that parking is hard to find and there is no valet at this location. My friends and I had to park at a lot a few blocks over.

Came here with my girlfriend before a show at the El Rey and left absolutely stuffed. Every bite was absolutely amazing. We got a garlic bread appetizer, fettucine pesto and fettucine Alfredo (both with chicken). The fettucine noodles were some of the best noodles I have ever had. They were super thin and had the perfect chewiness. The noodles were also drenched in delicious sauces and the chicken was cut in to bite size tender pieces. We will absolutely be back.

I originally planned to have brunch at Met Her at a Bar, but the wait was a bit long, so we were recommended to try their sister restaurant, Met Him at the Bar, which had no wait. They offer similar brunch dishes. Since this location is newer, it's spacious and beautifully designed. I ordered the fried chicken and waffle (Thai style - so delicious), while my cousin had sides of eggs, sausage, and toast. The service was excellent! From the host to our waitress, everyone was friendly and welcoming.

It has been years since I had chicken & waffles. This one didn't disappoint. Service was great and staff is super-friendly. We made a reservation online for lunch just in case they were super-busy. Parking was a bit of a pain as there's street parking only, unless you want to park in the expensive garage on 8th ($2.00 per 15 minutes).
