Met Her At A Bar

I placed a catering order for chicken and waffles for a group of 15 and everyone LOVED it!I appreciate the quick responses via email to help me plan for the appropriate tray size, along with the thorough description and pricing. They confirmed the order and also called me the day of to let me know the order was ready (on time!).Arriving to Met Her At a bar, the host was extremely friendly and helpful. The manager was also very kind and gave me tips to make the chicken stretch in case I had a few extra people. They provided a generous amount of syrup, butter, and this spicy sauce (I didn't know the name of it, but it was a hit!).The host even helped me carry the order to my car.I will definitely be back (whether to dine in or if I need a brunch catered order).I highly recommend Met Her At a Bar! Great food and great service!

We wanted to go to Met Him At A Bar but they weren't opening for dinner until 4 so we decided to go across the street to Met Her At A Bar for a late brunch.The place is small but cute. The server was friendly and led us to our table. It was nearing the end of their service so it wasn't crowded. The staff was attentive and made sure our water cups were refilled. The waitress checked on us frequently.We ordered the white truffle toast and the chicken and waffles. The white truffle toast was tasty! The eggs were very fluffy and the truffle added a delicious flavor to the toast. The chicken was seasoned well and was juicy and crispy. The waffle was buttery.A nice place for brunch!

Hmm, I wasn't impressed with the menu, taste, and service here. Not much of a selection for brunch - our table struggled to make a decision on what we wanted go order. Chicken sandwich was spicy, as promised. The drinks weren't all that memorable, either. A bit basic and bland, all around. They weren't super busy but service was slow. People were nice, though. Cute decor. We sat in the sidewalk patio area. Street parking is available - don't forget to pay your meter.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Met Her At a Bar! We waited about 20 minutes to be seated and it was worth it. The restaurant is small on the inside as far as the seating area, but the food makes up for it! The staff were very welcoming and Andrew at the door taking reservations was very friendly and accommodating. The hot vanilla latte is a must try as it was delicious and I got an ice one to goso tasty. All of the food was delicious! We will be back!

BOMB. The food here is so freaking good. If you come you absolutely must get the chicken and waffle. It's a must try!! The French toast is also yummy, just extremely sweet. The space is rather small but you dnt feel super cluttered together which is nice. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Would totally recommend checking this place out

Loved the Thai fusion breakfast that this place had to offer! I really enjoyed the Thai chicken and waffles. The French toast was your average all American breakfast. The Valentines Day strawberry matcha was not very good and you couldn't taste the strawberry. The restaurant ambiance gets busy on the weekends and street parking is hard to find. The staff were very nice. I want to try Met Him at a Bar across the street next time!

Saw this place on Yelp looking for a place for brunch while on vacation. They do not take reservations and only take walk-ins. There was no wait when we arrived but the restaurant was slowly filling quite quickly. Seems like a very trendy spot for brunch. Parking was on the street through meter stalls fronting the restauarant and the restaurant across the street and there were other stalls on the surrounding streets. I called the restaurant to make sure where parking was. We drove around the block several times and finally found a metered stall close by. That was a plus! AMBIANCEGreat vibes and cool music playing. They have tables inside and outside as well. The restaurant itself isn't too big at all but it did get very busy while we were there.SERVICEAwesome service! The staff was very friendly and checked on us quite often. FOOD1. Ribeye Steak & Egg Waffle (The steak was cooked well and to my liking. I loved the flavor with the potatoes and onions. The waffle was like a dessert for me and cooked well with a little crisp)2. Now This is Love Waffatella (good amount of strawberries and chocolate, very yummy and waffle was cooked well)3. Huvero Rancheros (delicious)4. Breakfast Sandwich (nice pieces of bacon)Everything we delicious! Everyone in my party was happy with their orders and loved the food. This is a little hole in the wall breakfast/brunch spot with awesome service and food! I would definitely return when back in LA.

The food here was so tasty and warm! It was our first spot we hit after landing in la and didn't know much about this place but it was great. Our server got us an extra drink as well since I think it took a minute for one of our drinks to arrive which i thought generous of them to do!

A cute little spot right on La Brea. I'd been to Met Her At A Bar's sister restaurant, Met Him At A Bar, and loved it, so I was excited to try this place out for brunch. So happy I did. The service was fast and everyone was warm and polite. My server recommended the Fried Chicken and Waffle and it did not disappoint. The chicken is served Thai style with perfectly crispy basil and a few peppers sprinkled on top. I loved that they used chicken thighs because it was so flavorful and a perfect foil to the soft waffle. It's been a hit every time I've had it. The menu is fairly big, so there are a lot of options. I will say that it's a tight space and you can expect a crowd if you go during peak hours, but I've never had to wait too long for a table.

Her favorite spot for mimosas Good food, great vibes, awesome service! Parking may be a little difficult to find.
