Everyone in the office always get excited when Mendo is the lunch spot. There's always something for everyone. If you ever start to get bored there are amazing seasonal specials or I've really been loving the create your own sandwich and salad options.When in doubt, both the pork and tofu banh mi sandwiches are solid. Tried the November to Remember sandwich while it was out and it was really good, but be forewarned it was a bit messy. BUT the best special was this summers Heirloom tomato BLT. Please please please bring that back!!!! That honey drizzle on the tomato and sourdough was to die for. I could have eaten that every day.

Pro-tip: don't bother parking on Fermosa , Santa Monica or la Brea. You're not gonna be able to find one without patience, so don't be lazy, park in the garage -- 1st hour is free !Deserves a re-review . I've held Mendocino Farms in somewhat mediocre regard. When I first moved to Los Angeles, I ordered a bahn Mi sandwich and thought it was overpriced at 12$ with inflation now it's like $5 more, but that's besides the point.It's not a Vietnamese joint, so I should have ordered something more 'them' for a first time.Had a few more sandwiches since, and none too were particularly impressive ;However, I really really love their salads.We're taking about a big , big, Seinfeld like salad!Ordered the chicken Caesar salad and the Chinese chicken salad on another day.Both were fantastic options. Ingredients were farmers market fresh and tasted like they were plucked straight from the garden . I'll give a bump, but I still won't order any sandwiches .

I never have any complaints about any of their locations. Their food is always made very well; the quality is always consistent, and the customer service is never anything other than great.With that being said, this location is huge. They have a ton of indoor and outdoor seating that is spacious and comfortable to eat at.Are usually get their sandwiches because they're so good but this time I was at the goat cheese salad. It wasn't my favorite item on the menu, but still.If you haven't been here before I would recommend trying any of their sandwiches, especially the chicken ones, and also try literally any of their soups.My only complaint is that they don't have utensils for you to pick up. You specifically have to go ask for more napkins, spoons, forks, and so on.

I am never disappointed with this place. I tried the limited time street corn chicken sandwich and it was good. I love sauce on my food so I was given one that had a little spicy kick which hit the spot. I would definitely love for them to bring back the rose lemonade drink. The service was great and definitely received some good suggestions from the cashier. The place was clean and plenty of seating inside and outside.

First of all the service here is always fast and friendly! My husband and I love to visit during the week and this is the second time that we've encountered the very sweet Cindy, who is always recommending something delicious that we havent tried! Come for reliable service and stay for Cindy's good vibes!

I get the "not so fried chicken sandwich" with no tomatoes & my husband gets the "Prosciutto & Chicken sandwich" .... Every time hahaI'm a sauce girl so I really enjoy both the mustard bbq sauce & the mustard pickle sauces on the side for the sandwich!*** The spicy curried couscous is a MUST !! It's not spicy to me, but full of flavor and so deliciousThey say a large serves 3-4 people, but we can definitely share the whole thing between the two of us, sometimes we just each get a small instead of a largeWe've gotten catering once and the couscous was HUGE... it was my favorite part haha+ consistency is great here, I love a reliable place where I know the food is going to be amazing every time+ fills you up!!

Mendocino Farms never disappoints! The food is always amazing--fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted. But what truly sets this location apart is the exceptional service. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism. Vincent made me feel welcome right away, taking the time to explain the menu and ensure I had the best experience.I've also had the pleasure of working with store manager Juan Carlos (JC) for catering my work meetings, and he has been nothing short of fantastic. He is incredibly professional, accommodating, and makes the entire process seamless. The team here genuinely makes you feel like family, and their commitment to excellent customer service is unmatched.If you're looking for a place with outstanding food and an even better atmosphere, this is it! Highly recommend.

Always such a friendly team here and the food is delicious. Recently had a great experience where a team member Itzel went above and beyond to be sweet and accommodating to us and our puppy out in the patio area. Definitely will be coming back!

I've tried this place a handful of times now, ordering various sandwiches, not so fried chicken, pesto, etc. This time I tried the Avocado and Quinoa Super Food Salad, and was so pleasantly surprised. Something about me is I typically don't order salads at restaurant, I find them less substantial, satisfying etc. However, this Salad was genuinely one of best I've ever had. For real, my expectations were low of a quinoa salad because in my head when I imagine quinoa salad I think boring bland lettuce and wet quinoa dunked together. But this? Oh this ain't that honey. First off yum, the flavor of the tangy salty, sour, lil spicy, dressing was delightful. Then it being paired with the crunchy quinoa and crispy lettuce? masterful. Me adding steak on top? Legendary. Not only do I feel like a skinny legend eating it, but it's also a really substantial salad that I couldn't even finish. You might be wondering, how can a person spend so much time and so many words writing about a salad? Me too! As craving this salad.Negatives? Honestly can't think of any really, it gives everything it needs and should give for a mid price range sandwich joint on the corner of santa monica.
